Stayokay Hostel Bunnik

Rooms need more electrical outlets to plug chargers in and the doors made a lot of noise opening and closing (quick fix with some WD40, maybe?) They were clean and big enough! Service was great, very friendly workers. I also left too early for the breakfast buffet but they were nice enough to make me a "to go package" so I could eat on the road. The area around the hotel is like a fairy tale. Very nice.

Outstanding location surrounded by canals and beautiful nature, as well as a small fort nearby, this hostel is absolutely wonderful for a weekend getaway. Included breakfast, easy bus connection to Utrecht (roughly only 10 min walk to the bus stop and a 15 min ride) access to bike rentals and a cozy cafe with delicious cakes make this stay really feel like home. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend with friends :)

This Stayokay in Bunnik is in a superb location, especially for families with children. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The room is basic, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff very attentive.

The warm hospitality of the staff, the lovingly&locally produced food, the beautiful surroundings and charismatic setting of the stay oké itself are a golden combinatoin.

The hostel has its ages and our room is more student dormitory like, this meets the expectations as hostel. Everything is clean and tidy, and good enough to stay one night. Breakfast is nice too. The big highlight for this hostel is its surroundings and all outdoor activities (ex. Biking, running, hiking etc). Lots of historical landmarks/buildings and beautiful forests allow you to plan a culture or nature tour. Highly recommended to stay a few more days here to explore more!

Best breakfast at a hostel I've been at. Fairly clean. Location is beautiful but might suggest others to stay in Utrecht if that's why they are there. However, I biked into Utrecht and that's very easy to do. It's not the best when the socializing has to be done at the bar or cafe because there's no hangout room but that's just a small complaint.

Great to be back after 34 years! Easy parking. Really enjoyed the convivial atmosphere, great breakfast selection and very cozy, small café to hang out in the evening and have dinner. Would have loved to have time for a walk in the morning in these lovely surroundings but went for a conference at the KNVB (Dutch Football Association) headquarters, a convenient short drive away.
