Stayokay Hostel Bunnik

I loved this place. It’s tucked away in the middle of a park, which makes it absolutely wonderful. The staff is exceptional, the breakfast is delicious, abundant, and varied. The rooms are pretty good and the bathrooms are just okay. The cleanliness could be improved, but the atmosphere and overall experience totally make up for it. An excellent hostel.

Wonderful hostel in the nature! Absolutely clean rooms, toilets and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Easy communication with the staff. Nice breakfast. Bus to Utrecht at a walking distance. Highly recommended!

great friendly place, out the way with a nice bar. rooms are clean and utilitarian - charging sockets lockers and individual lights. bathrooms and showers are spotless. there is also secure bike storage. breakfast is a superb buffet. the staff are approachable and amenable, helpful and nice. only small issue is that the dormatory rooms, reception/bar, and canteen are all separate buildings, and the former is a few minutes walk from the latter two: i spend a noticeable amount of time just traipsing back and forth. inconvenient unavoidable i guess.

Bunnik is a beautiful countryside setting. The rooms are not brand-new, but everything else is perfect. We tried out the restaurant, enjoyed the breakfast, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Would come again!

Great location if u want to enjoy the nature and still not far from city center with bus. Breakfast was included and they also had a bunch of vegan options.

Rooms need more electrical outlets to plug chargers in and the doors made a lot of noise opening and closing (quick fix with some WD40, maybe?) They were clean and big enough! Service was great, very friendly workers. I also left too early for the breakfast buffet but they were nice enough to make me a "to go package" so I could eat on the road. The area around the hotel is like a fairy tale. Very nice.

First of the staff was very friendly. So now that we have that out of the way the shitshow begins, we booked two beds, they checked 11 people in an 8 bed room, so we went back to the reception, she simply told us to look again, afterwards we were put in a different room, the room was quite lovely i leave them that, they told us that they aint sure if we can stay in this room but they would check on us tho, so we woke up ate breakfast and went in to the city, after coming back late we couldn't get in the room, because it turned into an all female dorm, note our stuff was still inside, after checking out with the very friendly receptionist we couls get our stuff and got new rooms. funny enough those rooms are litteral prisoncells, basically no natural lighting and the lamp isn't strong enough to light the whole room, the only thing they could offer us was to take candles to our room.
