Amazing Staff, But the Stay Fell Short of Expectations
We stayed at Casa Bella Vista in Manali as a group of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids), and while the experience had its moments, it didn't quite live up to the expectations—especially given the price point.
The highlight of our stay was the staff. From Rajat to every member of the team, they were truly exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with even the smallest of our needs. Their warm hospitality definitely made us feel welcome throughout our trip.
However, when it comes to the property itself, things were a bit underwhelming:
The rooms and bathrooms weren’t well-maintained and lacked cleanliness. We encountered bugs and insects, which made it uncomfortable—especially with kids around.
The property felt dated, and there was a noticeable musty smell at times.
The bonfire setup was decent, and the outdoor sitting area with views was okay—but not exactly the serene or scenic escape we were hoping for.
On the upside, the location is convenient, being close to Old Manali and not too far from Mall Road.
We paid around ₹50,000 for 2 nights, and frankly, it didn’t feel like value for money considering the condition of the property.
Final thought:
If you’re traveling with family and are particular about a clean and well-kept space, this may not be the right fit. That said, we genuinely appreciated the courteous staff, and they were the best part of the stay.
