Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru

Absolutely wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, the staff is welcoming and helpful, responsive, delightful to work with. The bartender, Aldo, was a highlight of our stay. I wish we had booked for more than two nights. We stayed in the Villa, which is a separate 3 bedroom cottage with kitchen, living room, and its own pool. It's charming, comfortable, spacious, cannot say enough good things about this stay. The food (breakfast and dinner included) was excellent, the wait staff again, was pleasant, responsive, and well-trained. The property is located in the middle of Gallura, so easy access to wineries for tasting, as well as to beautiful beaches on the Costa Smeralda. Fabulous place for a wedding or special event.

Location, facilities cleanliness and most definitely the staff were excellent. The restaurant La Cinemea is also excellent fine dining at fine dining prices. However we didn’t want fine dining every night but unless you wanted to drive off site there was no alternative. Would I recommend staying here - absolutely, not everyone will see the fine dining only option as a limitation, and everything else was wonderful 😊

Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru is an enchanting retreat where authentic charm meets refined hospitality. We indulged in the tasting menu with wine pairing, which proved to be an extraordinary culinary journey – each dish beautifully composed and perfectly complemented by the selected wines. To elevate the evening even further, bartender Aldo crafted some of the most exceptional cocktails we have ever enjoyed. Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru is a destination we wholeheartedly recommend, and we are already looking forward to our return.

This is a comfortable small hotel situated on a beautifully landscaped and maintained property in the country near Arzachena. The rooms are large and updated, with beautiful modern bathrooms in particular. Breakfast is generous and delicious and offered in a beautiful room indoors or on the patio. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting this area.

We recently stayed at Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru for our honeymoon, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is perfect—ideally situated for exploring the stunning beaches, charming towns, and the beauty of the Costa Smeralda. But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere: it feels like a peaceful, secluded paradise. The hotel grounds are absolutely gorgeous—lush, serene, and full of character. There's a deep sense of tranquility here that made our stay feel incredibly special and relaxing. Every detail, from the landscape to the design of the property, speaks of care and authenticity. This place truly holds a special place in our hearts!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay at Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru. While the remote mountain location is undeniably beautiful and peaceful, it feels like this seclusion is being shamelessly exploited. For example, the hotel restaurant charges €8 for just 0.5L of water, even though the exact same bottle costs €3 in the minibar. Other than one complimentary 0.5L bottle of water per person upon check-in, no free water is provided throughout the stay. The restaurant prices are not just high – they are wildly inflated. We were charged €10 for a single portion of French fries – and yes, we counted them: just 32 fries, roughly the equivalent of one potato. A “steak” for €45 turned out to be just two small strips of meat, not a full steak. And a simple toast with half an avocado and a few eggs cost €25. The pricing feels deliberately excessive, clearly taking advantage of the fact that there are no other food options nearby. One evening, we were even asked if we had a reservation to dine at the hotel’s only restaurant – as hotel guests, this seemed absurd. Where else were we expected to eat, in the middle of a remote mountain area with the nearest village several kilometers away and no transportation? The chef was also unprofessional and dishonest. When I pointed out that I hadn’t received the lamb liver I had previously ordered and recognized, he insisted it was the same dish. I know with absolute certainty that it wasn’t liver. When I asked him to show me the liver in the kitchen, he refused – which confirmed he had lied. To make matters worse, our villa had visible mold behind the bathroom sink, and the toilet flushing system didn’t work properly.

Such a unique, tranquil location. Loved it all and especially the best cocktail maker I’ve come across in their bar! Staff were also wonderfully Italian and passionate about the hotel and island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday staying here. The hotel grounds are stunning - any which way you look your view is beautiful and contributes to the overall serene vibe of the place. The staff are also considerate and go above and beyond - they remain professional but make an effort to feel personable and even though we were only there for 5 days, by day two there was already a lovely warm familiarity with all our interactions with the team there. |The main pool area was well kept and quiet (as lots of the apartments have their own pools) and breakfast became something we looked forward to everyday!
