Ste-Pétronille - Winery & Cidery

What a lovely visit! We tried their wine tasting, and every option was excellent. We chose our favorite, paired it with a delicious pizza, and enjoyed the beautiful view. Such a perfect date spot! The only thing I wish is that they stayed open for wine tasting and food after 5 p.m. as well.

absolutely gorgeous place . out door patio give great scenic views . you can see the water fall also. the pizza was, the veggie appetizers were creative and farm fresh. delicious and the wine was inexpensive. great finally to a little road trip around a lovely island .

Wow! This winery was so beautiful, the view was breathtaking, the pizza was delicious baked right in front of you, we tried every single one on the menu and they were all excellent! We sampled the wine and bought a few bottles. Our favourite was the Pinot Gris and the rosé. It’s pretty cool at two dollars per ounce. We can sample all the bottles from a vending machine! Very neat system :-) will definitely come back.

We went around 1 o'clock on a gloomy day for a late beef pizza and wine tasting. The pizza cost 24$ (6 slices - 14inch) and the wine tasting box was 25$. We shared both things and ended our visit with a walk in the vineyard. We brought home a bottle of Insula Blanc which is a 17% sweet fortified whisky wine, our favourite from the tasting box. The staff are so kind and the main hall is welcoming and clean. I was tempted to buy a long sleeve shirt but will have to return🤭 The pizza oven is also such a great addition.

Please extend your business hours! We absolutely love this place and return every year but always disappointed the kitchen closes at 5 and winery at 6. It would be the perfect place for an apéro! The wine and pizza are 10/10!

The pizzas are sooo tasty. We ordered 3 trays for 2 kids 2 adults. 🤣. One of my kid is allergic to dairy. The chef can make the pizza without cheese for him.

Highly recommend the vineyard, they make some absolutely tasty wines, we tried a few and enjoyed all of them. We got the Ndjua pizza with wine sauce and herb focaccia it was absolutely tasty. Highly recommend trying the bread. Great service, beautiful location.

This place was absolutely amazing! We were so glad to make the journey to this winery while we were here. Service was great and they describe all the wines to you before going outside to choose the many different seating options with an amazing view of the vineyard and water fall in the distance. The selection of wines was great. We got the tasting bucket with two whites, one red, and one rose. The red was so delicious I had to get another glass after. We also decided to get pizza from their food selection too along with focaccia bread. The pizza is some of the best wood fire oven pizza I have ever had. Amazing crust char and the pepperoni wasn't too greasy at all. The bread was soft and warm with a great outside crust. We took a walk after the lunch and wine down the path to see the waterfall view. Everything about this place is great. If you're in the area I highly recommend coming here for a chill afternoon with a party of any size! You won't be disappointed

We love coming over to the island as it is so relaxing. We stopped by the winery and had a tasting accompanied with a pizza. We definitely recommend stopping by. Tables outside right next to the grapes. Beautiful landscape with a view of the Falls. The pizzas are shareable by two of you want a snack. Otherwise, consider it more like a portion for one if you are hungry. Crust was so soft. Ingredients are very fresh.

I was happy to go to an island in Quebec City known for their wineries. This was our first stop. There's plenty of parking. It was more cost effective to order a tasting for $25 than to try individual tastings. They really do provide 1 ounce (it's mechanized). So we got a bottle of chilled white, sat on a picnic table overlooking their gorgeous vineyard and ordered pizza. It was oven baked, hot and fast. So good! We played Uno under the shade of the umbrella, marveled at our location and drank our bottle before moving along to the next stop. The staff are kind and speak English so it made it super helpful for us Americans. The prices are way better than Napa and Texas.

This was a great visit! As an American intimidated by the prospect of visiting and asking questions at a French Canadian winery, the people I talked to there were super friendly. The wines were on the drier side but there was a good amount of variety. For the tasting, you can buy a card loaded with swipes that cost $2 CAD per pour, and there are machines where you swipe the card and choose a 2 ounce pour of the wine. The view was pretty, parking was easy, and walking around the wine yard is free!

Great wines and great deserts to go with it! The views are great too! Can't wait to come back! My only criticism would be how they do the wine tastings, you just pour yourself an ounce from a machine... takes the fun from sitting down and trying them all...

Delightful! If you have a car, skip the touristy spots in Quebec City, and come out here for lunch! The wine, the pizza, the view -- all so amazing! My kids enjoyed the margarita pizza, and my husband and I had the one with mushrooms and parsley that blew my mind. We also enjoyed the white wine Le Voile.

This was one of the best winery's I've ever been to, the price for tasting 5 wines is 8 dollars if not less. The scenery is beautiful especially around the evening. Attached to the winery is a food truck restaurant hybrid where you can sip your wine you just bought or purchase a glass and enjoy the view. The people are so kind and knowledgeable.

5 stars to this beautiful Winery! We loved visiting the small Ile d'Orleans and tasting wine at VSP! The view is unbeatable and it was so relaxing to sip on their lovely wine on the patio. Staff was very helpful and the prices for the wines were very reasonable! We loved the dessert wines and took home both the red and the white as souvenirs! Would definitely visit again.

A nice little winery, with a great, open air patio (there's also an onsite restaurant), where you can have a wine tasting, with a view of Montmorency Falls, and the St. Lawrence River - if you're a wine lover, and you like great views, it's a no brainer :) Their wine is on the slightly acidic end, however they offer to combine their white wines with a black currant infusion, from the nearby Monna et Filles farm, giving it an absolutely unique taste - highly recommended.

Driving up the driveway to Vignoble Ste-Petronille, you'll see a white building and acres of grapes. The building, resembling a barn, but with a much better smell (notes the farm girl), hides a treasure within - the vineyard tasting room of Vignoble Ste-Petronille. This special terroir, combined with organic farming, results in delicious, sought-after wines. We headed into the wine tasting cellar after getting on the list for a table at the restaurant. There is much to learn and taste here, and I fell in love with the way the sunshine coming through the windows made gems of each of the bottles of wine. Soon, our names were called and we were seated. Quebec City restaurant Panache, has a food truck here - Panache Mobile. Perhaps only on this gorgeous île would a food truck have an open patio with summer seating, a terrace with a view. In partnership with the vineyard, Panache Mobile is the on-site restaurant. You can purchase a bottle of wine to go with lunch (or some to take with). We perused the menu with much discussion - it ALL looked so good. A friend and I split an île d'Orléans crispy and crunchy green bean salad with lemon vinaigrette and a flavorful lobster roll, my husband had a hamburger, and our daughter chose the Summer vegetable pie with basil peso, arugula, and parmesan - and loved it. Note: You can add poutine as a side! I love Canada. We chose scoops of refreshing gelato for dessert.

Just A short drive from Quebec. The tasting room is small but Apple. Very affordable. Three Canadian dollars for five samples. There's also a restaurant. The restaurant was very good. You can buy a bottle of wine from the tasting room and bring it to the restaurant. It was a lovely afternoon. I highly recommend going to.

3.5 years Beautiful lookout and seating outdoors - you get a distant but great view of Montmorency Falls. Wines are just OK, we decided to go with a glass of the white so we could enjoy the view. Very easy location to get to once you get off the bridge and plenty of parking on their beautiful grounds.

A visit to Vignoble de Sainte-Petronille was one of the highlights of our day trip to Ile d'Orleans--definitely a must-visit destination on the island! The wine tasting here is very reasonably priced: it's 3 for $2.00, 5 for $3.00, or 6 for $4.00. I'd recommend trying all 6, as I'm hard-pressed to pick one I'd be okay with skipping. Across the board, all of their wines are exceptional, including some more creative options, like the whisky-infused wine or the white wine blended with a black currant liqueur. These in particular are unlike anything I've ever had before, so if you're a fan, I suggest buying a bottle or two to take home with you (and at $14-22/bottle, they're again well-priced). In addition to the high-quality product, I also enjoyed interacting with the staff here. They are well-fluent in English, and great about explaining their wines to guests. After your tasting, leave a few minutes to walk through the vineyards, with a gorgeous view of the St. Lawrence River and Montmorency Falls in the background. Unforgettable!

We stopped here for the view. Next time will stay for a taste of wine (first is free 2 is $2). They also do food but I did not grab a look at the menu, looked to be fast style. We were on a scheduled tour we could not indulge as much as we would have liked to! This spot is shortly after the bridge to the island, very low commitment for such a beautiful view and a few tastes of wine!

One of the closest wineries after crossing the bridge. We were attentively greeted and once they heard we were talking Spanish, they brought Julien. He was amazing and nicely explained everything in Spanish. We did the wine tasting. Ended up buying several bottles. I recommend the whisky infused wine. It is quite different, either you hate it or love it. The view from the terrace is lovely. Sommelier also gave us suggestions for food, ice wine, beer and even dessert. I recommend a stop here.

This was the first winery we visited on the Isle d' Orleans. There are many wineries and boutiques all along the island, so I would suggest making a day of it. As other reviewers noted, the wines are reasonably priced. We did a wine tasting and wound up buying a couple of bottles to take home. The views here are spectacular with the vineyard, and Montmorency Falls in the background. Service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. They spoke English, so we had no problem ordering wine in our native tongue. If you are a wine-lover visiting Quebec City, this is a must see!
