Steak and The City - by Prime

Had such a great experience at Steak and the City by Prime! We ordered the lamb shank, rib eye steak, lobster, striploin and tenderloin. everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The ambiance was so nice and cozy too. Big shoutout to Moureen, our attendant for the night, she was super friendly and attentive! We also used Urban Point which made it such a good deal. Definitely coming back again soon!

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stylish and comfortable, and the steak was cooked perfectly — rich flavor and just the right tenderness. But what truly elevated the experience was the service. Kabina was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her kindness and professional touch made me feel like a valued guest, not just a customer. Definitely a place worth returning to, especially with service like hers.

The staff were kind and professional. Our steak was perfectly cooked and served with a delicious, flavourful sauce. The ambience was very cozy, featuring comfortable sofa seating and relaxing music.

I recently dined at Steak and the City by Prime. The location was convenient, and the ambiance was nice with two separate lounges for smoking and non-smoking. They also serve alcohol, which adds to the variety. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing—slow and unresponsive, with staff being difficult to reach. I ordered two main courses, and one of them arrived completely burned after waiting 50 minutes. The dish had a terrible burnt smell and was inedible. When I raised the issue, both the waiter and chef insisted that it was “supposed to be served like this,” which was quite shocking for a premium steakhouse. After refusing to consume it, I requested they take it back. The waiter eventually offered a replacement, but informed me it would take another 30–40 minutes. We agreed, and while the replacement dish was better (photo attached), the overall experience was frustrating due to the poor service and mishandling of the situation. For the price point and reputation, I expected far better.

I had the pleasure of dining at Steak and the City by Prime in Doha, and it was truly an exceptional experience.The steak was cooked to perfection-compliments to chef Junel and Karim.The service was outstanding,Maureen provided such attentive and professional care,making me feel very well looked after.A special mention to the floor manager,who was friendly and welcoming adding a personal touch to the whole evening. Overall,everything from the food to the service exceeded my expectations.I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Doha.

Had a great experience here! The steaks were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, with beautiful décor that makes the place feel really special. Service was smooth and attentive, and the overall vibe was spot on. Definitely one of those restaurants you leave thinking, “I’ll be back again for sure.

Visited this amaizing place by mistake and i have to say it was me and my husbands favourite mistake 😂😂.....the place is soo aesthetic the music is soo pleasing and now the food was just to die for....The stake was well cooked the flavours were mouth watering and the mash was just right....the dessert was soo yummy i should have had a second serving ooh myyyy....we also had cocktails and they were amaizing hats off to the mixologist.....but no matter how the food was, the customer service was the best part becoz we werent even supposed to be there but the way we were welcomed we just couldnt say no to the warmth of the place.....our server Margaret Njoki God bless her happy soul and her beautiful smile....i was even surprised that she was new on the job becoz you just couldnt tell from her services....we had the best time and cant wait to be back...Thankyou for creating such a happy space for us

Visited the place and had a blast.... The food was amaizing, we didn't have to wait long for the food to be served , the steak was very tender the mashed potatoes was amaizing, the cocktails were very nice.... Our server Margaret Njoki was very flexible, kind and her customer service was really amaizing....me and my wife appreciate the experience and we can't wait to be back for more amaizing steak.......
