Great staff and great food! The atmosphere was made great by the attention of the bar tenders and Timley food service!

My wife and I LOVE this place. All the Food is excellent, great service is overwhelming, fantastic atmosphere. We ate here for the first time two weeks ago recommended by our friends Randy & DeeDee. And, we actually bumped into them that same day. I will be telling all my friends about this place now. We are going again tomorrow for the big VALENTINES DAY to celebrate, can’t wait!

My family came for our monthly family meal. They easily accommodated 15 for lunch. We sat on the back patio and it was beautiful. Quiet, Serene and perfect. The staff were friendly, the menu was extensive and the food delicious! I only got pictures before the food due to everything coming at different times and people eating when it was hot. That's not a dig. I loved that they brought it out as it was cooked. The potstickers and egg rolls were delicious and I heard that the cheese rangoons were great too. The main entrees made everyone happy. We will definitely be back again. 10/10 recommend.

The restaurants at Steamboat Landing were truly exceptional! The Chinese restaurants offered authentic flavors, with some even serving food directly from boats arriving from Hong Kong, ensuring the freshest ingredients. Everything was prepared with great attention to tradition, cleanliness, and quality. One of the standout dishes was the shrimp—it was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight, and you could really taste the difference in quality. To complement the meal, I had a Sex on the Beach cocktail, which was mixed to perfection—smooth, refreshing, and just the right balance of sweetness and fruitiness. Overall, the experience was fantastic, from the delicious food to the inviting atmosphere. I would definitely return for another amazing meal!

This is our favorite restaurant in the Delta and, hands down, the best Chinese food in the greater Sacramento area. We recommend it to all our friends—and honestly, to everyone we meet. The staff is always amazing, warm, and welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. You have to try the Honey Walnut Shrimp—it’s my absolute favorite item on the menu, and I order it almost every single time. They also have a wraparound patio with great outdoor seating year-round—perfect for summer nights—and it’s beautifully decorated during Christmas. 🤍 We truly can’t get enough of this place!

We went at lunch so I don't know about dinner service. It was a bar and grill atmosphere with locals hreeting each other. The inside was smaller than I expected. There aren't many nice local restaurants with a bar so that's good. The lunch serving were large. We took food home. We had the meat skewers on a mini hitbatci which was fun. There were TVs going to keep up with sports, etc..

I came here with a couple of colleagues after working the last Saturday session for the first half of the 25-26 SY. Working Saturday can be pretty intense which is why at the end of this day we decided to drive over to the Steamboat Landing in Courtland. The restaurant has been updated since I last visited. Directly in front of the main entrance is an enormous bar which spans the length of the room with several tables and plenty of seating for small and large groups. We happened to sit outside on the wrap around deck. There is a lovely soft seating cushiony horse shoe bench with one of those nifty coffee tables with fire lava rocks in the center and heat lamps suspended along the top overhang in various spots above the tables. We sat at an oversized round table and the waitress took our orders. I posted pictures of my meal: calamari, appetizer, hot and sour soup, stirfry fresh veggies with pea pods, and stir fried rice. Everything was super fresh and authentic.

Nice inside. Good waitstaff as well . Honesty I wanted to like it here. The food not that good tonight . Egg rolls served cold. Mongolian Beef full of onions. Took sweet n sour pork home and it was tough and chewy. Had to toss out. Not too great overall for us.

This place doesn't need another 5 star review but it is getting one anyways. Random visit, big surprise! Top Quality Chinese food that could stand up anyplace. Quality food, service and atmosphere. I went in to have a beer and ended up ordering 3 dishes just for me. Every one was outstanding. Dishes were in the 20's but were huge, I thought it was good value. Food for days. Best Chinese food outside of San Francisco.

Visiting friends in Fairfield and they mentioned this place as the best Chinese food place. It is the best Chinese place I have ever had. Beautiful venue and amazing food! We ate pork fried rice, war wonton soup, beef & green beans, potstickers and cherry chicken. Everything was delicious. I think there was more meat than soup. Service was great! Sorry no photos. We ate it all!

We came here once before months ago with friends and I have been craving it ever since. Its such a nice spot with additional outside seating if you like. The servers are so friendly and great at suggesting things. They have a full bar with anything you can think of. Prices are reasonable. Their food is fresh and traditional with perfect seasoning and texture. I love their chicken chow mein and the Walnut shrimp is to die for. It was a nice Sunday dinner.

This place is hands down amazing. We have been here five times and each time we have been nothing short of impressed by the food and service. The restaurant itself is so fun. You have an ambiance of just friends getting together to have great food and lots of laughs. If you have the opportunity to sit at the bar, see if Jacob is available. He was our server, bartender, and overall entertainer of the night. He was such an amazing person!!! No joke, hands down you need to make sure you get the chicken wings and the potstickers because they are fire. Also if you need something warm the hot and sour soup is superb again the flavors the amount of tofu and little bits inside of it is the perfect amount for each bite.. We had the sesame chicken that was the perfect amount of sweetness and the crunch of the fried Chicken was just great. And for sure for sure for sure you need to get an order of the fried fish that is salt and peppered because again succulent white fish that just is so so nice to have and eat while you're there. And last little piece is because we eat so much of the above we have never had a chance to eat dessert

The best Chinese food on the Delta and Sacramento River! Chef Andy Chen has brought authentic, flavorful Chinese cuisine to the heart of the Delta. From the salt-baked Dungeness crab to the BBQ oysters and his signature spicy garlic crawfish, every dish is made with care, spice, and bold flavors. (Pro tip: the crawfish needs to be pre-ordered at least 24 hours in advance -- and it's absolutely worth it!) Tonight, I brought special friends visiting from Los Angeles and my brother and his girlfriend from Phoenix -- and the food did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the walnut prawns, squid & papaya salad, garlic noodles, hot & sour soup, and the crispiest, juiciest chicken wings. Every bite was incredible. On top of the food, the bar and staff are top-notch. Innate was amazing -- friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit destination for food lovers. We'll be back -- again and again!

Having lunch after watching the grandsons in Walnut Grove Fire Academy. So we had a Black Mushroom and Pork, Broccoli Beef and pork Fried Rice and it was all very good and lots left over that will feed me for few more days unless the 4 grandsons see it. Vickie was our waitress and took good care of us. The place is very nice and along the river.

We were meandering home when we saw this place and decided to stop for some lemonade. We were seated out on the back patio on the top floor. Our waitress was a sweet smiley girl who provided 5 star service, thanks! What a beautiful place to this is! We're only having lemonade right now but the atmosphere and the view is so beautiful that we're coming back soon to try the food.

This place has everything I love about a good restaurant: - Friendly, quality, fast service - delicious, clean fresh food - comfortable sitting with plenty of outdoor space We enjoyed the super fresh homemade eggrolls, lamb skewers cooked to perfection with just a hint of spice, and chicken chow mein. All fresh, all delicious, all clean, not over salted. Did I mention the great service? From the time we entered until the time we left we were greeted with smiles and treated with care and consummate professionalism!

This spot on the literal side of the road is amazing. Formerly a BBQ spot that was alright has been a Chinese restaurant for while now and it is soooooo good! The food is fresh, hot, crispy, tender and flavorful. My parents live in the area and always talk about how they eat here several times a month. Finally in a family outing we picked here for lunch. There was 6 of us all adults and we ate and ate and ate...appetizers, soup and mains. We got there on a cloudy Saturday afternoon around 12pm the place was busy. Had bar, tables and all kinds of outdoor seating. They do have heat lamps and a beautiful view of the orchards and mountains especially this time of year. The service is fast, the employees move with urgency and are friendly. You can tell the locals have made this their spot too! No wonder my parents go so often. It is nice for them to have a place like this around the bend from home. By the time we left around 2:15pm the place was packed inside! Good for them! I love seeing places like this thrive! We will be back again and again!

We have heard nothing but great things about the food here. After a horrible experience the night before at Tower Park Waterfront Grille, we were on the search for an establishment to redeem the Delta! We were greeted by multiple staff, acknowledged as soon as we sat down at the bar, menus were brought, and drink orders taken. Ready for this? All In 3 minutes time! . Excellent staff and customer service. We weren't starving so we opted for an app. The potstickers were delish! Definitely homemade. Our neighbor ordered Oysters. They looked delicious; will try them next time. We will be back!! Also Lindsey was a great hostess!!

I would always pass through here after fishing, but our family decided to make the stop this time. First impression: Quick, easy, friendly service. We arrived during lunch hour and was given the option to dine inside or outside on the patio, we were seated right away outside since it wasn't so busy. The ambiance was very calm and shady. Our server was very attentive and brought our food very quick. I had the general chicken lunch combo with egg drop soup and it was probably one of the best Chinese dishes I had in a while. It was my first time trying egg drop soup and it was so simple yet so flavorful, I added a little chili oil for a kick and it just made it all the better. As for my actual meal, the chicken was cooked to perfection and was super saucy. It had a great rich flavor of the marinade and was spicy too! I wish they had the option to substitute the fried rice for some chow mein but I didn't mind because the rice was so good too. Overall, the price for this whole meal was reasonably affordable for the amount of food. My sister had the Mongolian beef and it was also rich with flavor and slices of beef weren't too thick which I love. I will definitely be coming back!

Came here on a Sunday lunch time. I was pretty busy, all the tables were full. We ordered several items and shared family style. My favorite had to be the wonton soup, it was loaded with meat and soup broth was amazing, next up the chow mein with shrimp was great. The kung pao was alright, and the honey walnut shrimp alright. The service was a little slow, but overall not too bad in my book. And they have icecream if you're up for it.

Wow! Congratulations Reggie! What a magnificent restaurant. The decor is very special and sets a relaxing and peaceful surrounding to enjoy what is quite simply the best Asian food I've ever had. It's just a quick 15-20 minute drive from Elk Grove to this spot in the Delta that not only serves great food but they serve it with wonderful customer service: The Fish in Black Bean sauce is so delicious. But start off with the "Pot Stickers" and soup of the day. We also had the Mongolian Beef and Honey Walnut Prawns. Just a delicious meal from start to finish. Don't miss this place and don't let the short drive to the Delta keep you away, you won't be disappointed.

Fresh Fresh & Fresh with a great ambiance. Went for a private lunch and it was great. Not oily or overcooked. I live an hr away and would consider driving just to get such great, fresh Chinese food.

A total surprise for us as we were heading back to the Bay Area from Sacramento, and ran into some bridge closures so we basically back-tracked to 80. But we were starving, and this place was right there. First we saw "bar and grill" and expected a different cuisine, but the Asian food served here was outstanding - the veggie chow mein, pork ribs, and egg rolls completely hit the spot; the service was seamless and friendly, and my iced tea was consistently kept full by the attentive staff. It's a clean, beautiful setting (particularly if you sit outdoors), and there is also a full bar. The bathroom is also spotless, and while there is limited parking up front, you can find spots around the corner before the bridge. Really surprised and delighted by how good this was, and how fresh and lively everything tasted. The prices are also excellent; the lunch specials are large and will fill you for under $20. We would definitely return. Also a gentleman who appeared to be the owner checked in on us a couple of times, which also added to the experience, as did the waitress noticing me wiping my sticky, pork rib-addled fingers (they were outstanding - the ribs, not my fingers) and coming to the rescue with more napkins, no questions asked.

Phenomenal. Food, atmosphere, location, service, prices, all superb. Had 5 exchange students from Beijing come to visit the town of Locke & learn about the influence of the Chinese in California, ended at Steamboat Landing after a recommendation from our tour guides. Probably the best, freshest & most flavorful Chinese food I've had. The students ordered for us which was fun because they picked things I wouldn't have on my own. The sizzling seafood dish was not only incredible, it was a show in itself. Mindy took care of us & spoke to the students in Chinese & English, she was so sweet! Don't live local but if I'm ever anywhere nearby again I will be back for sure!

What a gem. Went here after word of mouth reviews. It did not disappoint. Fantastic setting with excellent dining accommodations. The bar is the absolute best. It was very busy but we were immediately seated at the outside area as it was a spectacular day. We had the Mongolian beef. One of the best ever and a large potion with ample delicious beef. Also had the cashew chicken. Very good. We added a little steamed rice and enjoyed a perfect meal. We will definitely be back. First class Chinese restaurant.

Just came in today with my family for lunch. Everything was delicious! This was my second time eating here but it was my family's first visit. Service was fast & accommodating! We ordered the orange chicken, general chicken, szechwan beef & Mongolian beef lunch plates. Really generous portions for $16.00. You get an egg roll, steamed or fried rice, a cup of soup & your main entree choice. We also ordered 1/2 dozen of the raw blue point oysters & calamari. They oysters were so good & they were only $15.00! The restaurant is decorated very nicely but it can get a little loud inside. We checked out the deck before we left and I think next time we'll sit out there! It's so cozy. 4 stars only because the egg rolls on mine & my husband's plates were cold & we had to ask for fresh ones . & when I asked for a container for my soup (I wanted to save room for my actual meal) the server said she had to ask the chef & then told me he said no because the soup is free. That confused me because it says it's included in the price of the lunch, I had already eaten some & theyre just going to throw it out anyway if I don't take it lol. The server did end up bringing g me a container for it anyway which I appreciated. The whole interaction was a little awkward. I would understand if it was all you can eat or something but if you're going to give people soup as part of their meal they should be able to take it home if they can't finish it.

We eat here a few times a month. We went for lunch today and although their lunch menu is fine we were very happy that the dinner menu was also available. Food was amazing! Sesame chicken was the best I've ever had. Honey walnut prawns are so delicious as is their pot stickers. Basically everything we've ever ordered has been amazing. Service is very good and the way the place is decorated is beautiful. The outdoor seating is wonderful in the slightest delta breeze. Andy & Reggie have something very special going on here in this sleepy delta town! The driver is only 20 minutes from Elk Grove and totally worth it. Do yourself a favor and drive down the river road to Steamboat Landing. You won't be disappointed.

I took my mom here for her birthday and the vibe here is super nice and calm. It is right by the river so you get to enjoy the delta breeze. The food is mainly Asian cuisine and it's so good. The plates are shareable and come out hot and quickly.

Very nice dining venue located along the Sacramento River in Courtland. Beautiful views from the side and rear outdoor patio looking down on the historic pear orchard that was once part of the 300 acre ranch that included the bar and grill. Superb Chinese food that won't disappoint. A huge variety of main courses to choose from. Lunch specials contain a generous amount of food that will have most guests taking home leftovers for a second meal. We ordered three different main courses from the lunch menu and each one was superb. All of the food was seasoned and prepared to perfection. Two appetizers chosen were so good we almost wished we had a complete meal of nothing but these delicious small portions. Service was perfect. Our server was very attentive and made sure our drink glasses were kept full. She was very helpful in explaining some of the details of dishes we were considering. Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere dining outside and the inside dining room looked very elegant with a high beam wood ceiling. While the weather was unbelievably nice for a late August afternoon, we noticed automatically controlled water misters coming on to make even a hot day comfortable in the patio area. A very beautiful area along the historic Sacramento River Delta and a very enjoyable dining experience at Steamboat Landing Bar and Grill. We will definitely be coming back.

Discovered Steamboat Landing a yr or so ago. It's licated a few miles north of Locke on the other side of the river & with the recebt closure of the Courtland Bridge, you have to use the Walnut Grove Bridge to ge there. It's a nice Americanized Chinese restaurant. You will NOT get any "authentic" Chinese food here but what they serve is ok to pretty good. On my last trip, I had s dozen Blue Point otsters & an order of Chinese style BBQ pork ribs. The oysterswere great. The ribs were a bit too chewy but I ate thrm all nonetheless. This is really an outpost in the middle of no where. They cater to their clinentle & they are very popular eith them. A grest dpot to stop if your driving along River Road to or from Sac from the Bay Area .

We tried dinner here, first time for us. Great atmosphere, staff friendly and attentive. I had the Mongolian beef and my wife had walnut shrimp. We shared bbq pork fried rice. The Mongolian beef was very tender but for me the sauce was pretty salty. Ymmv. Rice was really good. Wife said her shrimp dish was great. Overall a nice place to eat inside or outside. A little pricey so be prepared for that. One negative for me. The server brought out a basket full of fortune cookies to the next table and let them pick their own. We never got any, even with the bill. Did I need a fortune cookie? No, but it is part of the Chinese food dining experience in America

Steamboat Landing Bar & Grill is a perfect match for a bar, a Chinese restaurant, and a beautiful view, all connected by yummy food and exceptional customer service. The restaurant is across the street from the river. The area is comfortable, especially for outdoor dining when the weather is good. The indoor dining room and bar are also enjoyable. All the dishes I tried were delicious, and our waitress provided excellent service. The owner is very friendly, too. This is a restaurant you don't want to miss when you're in the area. I am sure I will return and try more of their yummy food and drinks soon.

Had a chance to stop in today for the soft opening weekend! We have been so excited for this place to open as we have had a chance to preview its progress of construction since the new ownership! We love the venue because of its high ceilings when you walk in. Beautiful bar top and the wonderful views for outdoor seating! The decor is just so comforting and cozy and just place you can relax. The food is definitely delicious and your classic Chinese American style dishes you will just love and enjoy! Tonight we kept it simple with our favorite Salt Baked Wings and Sizzling seafood combination. The service of course was so welcoming and inviting! This will definitely become a spot where "Everybody knows your name!" So definitely worth coming out here for a drive along the river or pull up with your boat and stop in for some good eats! We will definitely be back again!

When you pull up you would not think it was a Chinese restaurant. The ambience and food were great. Able to sit outside and enjoy our great food. A few hiccups with service but will go back for sure.

What a great little treasure Steamboat Landing is, tucked in on the rivers edge! The restaurant/bar is very clean, inviting and up to date. The service is fantastic! We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick... all without feeling like you were being rushed. The food was good and the portions were huge! We ordered way too much, we'll know for next time. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

I came to Steamboat Landing Bar & Grill for an end-of-the-year work staff party. I had heard about Steamboat Landing while wine tasting in the area, but did not have the opportunity to try it until recently. For the staff party, we got to sample a little bit of everything as it was served to us family style. Some of the items we tried were the fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, beef with broccoli, and sweet-and-sour chicken. Given that we did not have to pay for it since it was covered by our employer, I can't speak to the price, but the food was tasty and, with its unique location in the Delta, a nice change of pace.

Amazing Asian food with a great atmosphere, a must try!!! We usually love salt baked wings but the owner had us try salt baked fish and wow!! It was done just right the chefs know what they're doing

Went here for my husbands birthday. This was our second time going here. We really enjoyed our first visit so I was apprehensive about going there again. What if it did not live up to our first experience?? Well, we weren't disappointed; on the contrary!!! Super clean , just like last time Great staff. This place is right around where we live and noticed it was new, due to the Yelp reviews we decided to give it a shot. We knew already their prices and we feel like that's about the average. We are a family of six, as soon as we went in we were greeted and were asked if we preferred inside or out. We decided to eat outside and the weather was perfect. Our waitress was Mind and she was so sweet, kind, attentive and super friendly. This is probably one of the reasons we will be coming back apart from the food being right on point. Everything tasted fresh and home made. The potstickers!!! Delicious.

amazing experience and delicious food. wanted to try this place after several recommendations from friends. took a drive from west sac to have some lunch. sat outside and the weather was perfect, cool delta breeze, sunny and relaxing. while sitting a gentleman cleaning table tops stops by and asks me about my car. after a moment he sat with me and we shared stories about cars. find out he was the owner, Andy, what a nice guy, very chill conversation and talked about his business. I had a lunch partner and he described his acquisition of the property and subsequent restaurant. Andy is an experienced restaurateur and his food shows it. service was friendly and prompt, food was outstanding. I plan to visit often as the ambiance, food, and Andy, make it a pleasure to be there.
