Great experience! I have skiied with Steamboat Powdercats a few times and it is always a great time. The deep days are the best(obviously) but the other days are still soft and these guides know exactly where to take you. Some of the best skiing I have experienced up here.

Amazing and DEEP, second time out with the Powdercats crew and definitely won’t be my last. Luc, Jameson and Frenchy were great guides - awesome lines while keeping it safe on a high av risk day. Great people and experience overall.

Such a fantastic outfit. Girlfriends and I have been two years now and we plan on making this an annual trip until we can’t ski anymore. BEST guides: Taylor and Greg find great lines and offer excellent tips. Seems like a lot of customers are return visitors, which says a lot about the quality of this business.

If you are okay with the price, this is definitely worth the excursion. This is a very very clean operation. The guides are knowledgeable, fun, and take you to awesome snow. Powder cats is also committed to safety which I appreciated. The conditions were amazing when I went on feb 10.

Had the best ride ever with my guide Luc, I’m still a bit new and he was so patient, made me feel safe and comfortable the whole ride. He had great tips along the way, pointed out big/scary features before I got to them and let me take as many breaks as I needed to make it all the way to the top! I highly recommend booking him whether you’re a newbie or seasoned. You will have a blast and learn a thing or two!

Highly dense and populated area Steamboat has grown too over the last decade but nevertheless we love the Ron steamboat springs has the offer. Lots of long swivel Greens & some perfect skill tests Blues! Resorts and staff are always top notch that we have got to work with. ❄️ 🏂

Steamboat Powdercats is a must-do! I took their tour on New Years Day with my two sons and it was incredible. We got in a dozen runs, all on untracked powder. The guides, photographer, cooks, drivers, and everyone else involved were total pros and super friendly. Can't recommend it enough!

First time CAT skiing. This place is amazing and vast! Plenty for everyone. Guides are on point and know the terrain very well. We did the C level tour and enjoyed expert steep powder trees all day! I would highly recommend this tour! CATs were comfortable. The employees were all very professional and seemed very experienced. We had a blast and will be back! Highly recommend!

Steamboat PowderCats takes skiing to the next level! Their expert guides easily sniff out the best, softest snow in any conditions. Whether it's a level 1 or 2 cat, your skiing desires will be met! I am a return customer and will be for life. If you enjoy resort skiing but are looking for a little something different, then this is it! Fun people, delicious lunch, and unbeatable skiing.

This had been on bucket list for quite a while and this team delivered! I chose level 1 as they recommended, and it was the perfect place to start. As the day progressed and the groups comfort in the powder so did the skill of the runs. Throughout the trip the guides communicated well, shared tips and identified options. While this was once a bucket list item it is now a yearly item!!!

These guys know what they are doing. They run a great organization. I had the opportunity to go out with them in March and it was a blast. The weather was great which always helps doing backcountry stuff. But the guides and people at Powdercats are professional, make it fun, and are very helpful. We had a great two days and I will definitely be coming back in the future. I highly recommend these guys.

What an amazing crew! This is the caviar of snowboarding, been going with these guys for 7 years now I think. Can't say enough good things! Scully, Kyle, House, Kent, Jamo, everyone is amazing. Thank you!!! Can't wait for next year.

Visited December 2017- I visited my a large couples group as this was a first for many on this trip. First time doing a large couples trip with a group of people I barely knew, 1st time visit to Denver, Colorado and my 1st time skiing. I chickened and and did not ski but I enjoyed the ride up! lol, as I am not the adventure type but I'm willing to attempt to try. My Husband and the other group members really enjoyed it.The company also outfits you in the correct gear and sizing, the group did the night skiing. My Group Members told me that the Sales Associates were very friendly and extremely helpful, however they also said that one time skiing was enough for them. They complained of being sore and using muscled they didn't know even existed. Based on their experience this is a for sure returned location if we are ever in Denver, Colorado again.

Fantastic experience! The guides are fun, and experts on the terrain. Every run was fun and a new experience. No lifts, no lines, no crowds. On a day when the resort was a mix of slush, rocks and dirt, our guides found soft uncut snow. If you ever considered backcountry cat skiing, you can not go wrong with Steamboat Powdercats.

Amazing experience with Steamboat Powdercats from beginning to end. We joined their level 3 group, and were hooting and hollering all day. Their guides are experienced, friendly, supportive, and super fun to be around. They run a first-class operation, and make sure you get epic turns all day! Can't wait to go back.

To be able to go snow cat skiing has always been a Bucket List item of mine. This past January, my friends and I were able to check it off and we were so glad we chose Steamboat Powder Cats. This is a first rate operation! From the time I first called and spoke with Ken on the phone to make our reservation until we were dropped off at the end of the day back at our hotel, our experience could not have been better! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our guides Kevin, Luc and Britni were outstanding! Did I mention the powder? SPC has a permit that allows them to access thousands of acres of nearly untouched powder in Buffalo Pass just outside the town of Steamboat Springs and the Steamboat ski resort. We signed up with the Level 3 group, which means you have to be an expert to go on this particular cat. Ken advised me there was nothing "extreme" (i.e. cliffs jumps and one hundred foot drops) about the Level 3 cat; we just had to be very comfortable on any type of black diamond run you would find at most resorts and be able to confidently navigate deep powder and tight trees. I have been lucky over the years to have several great powder days under my belt. Those were only a teaser to what we were able to experience with SPC because when most resorts get a good dump of fresh powder, it is usually tracked up by mid-afternoon. On our day with SPC, we logged fourteen runs of mid-calf high powder on every run. It felt truly exhilarating and life-affirming. Several times I found myself screaming at the top of my lungs out of sheer excitement. I have never been so happy to be completely spent at the end of the day. It was an unforgettable experience!

I had an awesome day ski touring. The guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The terrain was a lot of fun. We had the whole mountain to ourselves all day with some great snow.

This is my second time skiing with steamboat powder cats. They are great! Super friendly, incredible customer service, kind people, professional back country skiers, these are some of the phrases that come to mind. I highly recommend this outfit!

Fabulous day - I was in the beginner group and the day was so fun. All 3 guides were great, super knowledgable, fun, and knew exactly where to go. The safety aspect was top notch. They got us to fresh snow, even early in the season. Lunch was really good (catered) at the log cabin mid mountain. We got about 9 runs in. Only thing I wish was different would have been lengthier runs. However, we had a snowy day with 30mph winds so that limited where they took us.

Amazing and fun! My son and I went out on the 20th of Feb during a dry spell as far as snow goes . Our Tour guides found us some fresh powder . This is a first class operation from the start. We were in the Group 1 or A and we are advanced skiers and we were challenged . Lunch was in a cabin in the middle of the woods and was something out of a movie ...not to mention the food was great. If you are a self centered person this trip isn't for you. We had 13 in our group and we all watched out for each other . You are in the back country so you have to watch each other's backs . Our tour guides were in age order Lol ...Mike , Rob and Nick . Highly recommend you request these guys . End of the day you have beer and wine back at the shop and look at your pics and recap your day. Perfect end to a perfect day.
