✅ Pros • The place is clean and spacious. • Service was polite and food was served at a reasonable speed. • Convenient location, close to the MRT station. ⚠️ ❌ Cons • Seafood wasn’t very fresh; some dishes had a fishy taste. • Portions were small and the flavors were quite average. • Overall experience was average compared to the price charged. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-friendly Note ✅• Quiet and comfortable environment, suitable for families with children or elderly guests. ❌• If you care a lot about seafood freshness, it’s better to check the day’s selection before dining.

Steamov offers an interesting supermarket concept with a visually appealing layout—clean lines, modern design, and a pleasant shopping atmosphere. It’s clear they’ve put thought into aesthetics, which makes browsing enjoyable. However, the value proposition falls short. Prices lean toward the lower side, but I still didn’t feel it was value for money. Essentials like tissue paper were out of stock during my visit, which was disappointing and inconvenient. For a concept-driven store, basic inventory should be a given. Overall, Steamov is worth a look for the novelty and ambience, but I hope they tighten up on stock management and pricing to truly deliver on the experience.

The supermarket concept goes wrong as price tag is confusing (3 lines of number), narrow space and seats. Have pay first so it becomes long Q for scanning the items, cashier place is at main door so with the Q ppl been blocked to enter. Soups are bland, and we paid $5 per soup but refill is just bland stock. Lamb and vegetable some not fresh, see the pictures. We paid around $33 per person, not worth it.

Used to frequent this place for late-night suppers so decided to visit after quite some time. Extremely disappointed by the drop in quality (both cleanliness and food quality/taste) Soup is bland and tasteless - probably diluted with water over and over again. Ingredients look like it has been left on the conveyor belt since the day before. Stained food trays and unkempt dining tables.

fun concept, decent food, but pricing transparency could be better. steamov offers a fun late-night hotpot experience with its conveyor belt concept and wide variety of skewers, but the excitement fades once the bill arrives. while soup bases and ingredients are decent, the pricing is misleading. not all items are clearly labeled, and it’s easy to grab “$1 skewers” that turn out to be S$3 or more. the food’s fine, great for supper with friends, but between hit-or-miss freshness and unclear costs, the gimmick ends up pricier than expected. worth a try, just watch what you pick!!!

The place looks newly renovated, but when we went on the second day after opening, the electricity kept tripping multiple times during our meal. It really disrupted the dining experience. Hope they can sort out these issues soon because the environment is nice otherwise.

food was ok but the pricing was kinda sus. there was a sudden unannounced “service fee” of $7 added to the bill upon checkout. ??? total spend for 2 mid-sized pax is almost $50… meats are ok at best, same as shili**** quality. music is fine though, and environment is not bad. soup quality was… around shili**** standard as well - i guess you get what you pay for.

very unique hotpot place to chill n gather for hotpot lover, the price here are really supermarket price, very reasonable, and the food are fresh too, challenge is too many variety to choose, from vegetable, to mushroom, to seafood fish, prawn, to meat pork, chicken, beef, n many others there r 10 different soup base to choose from, the soup are just nice and not too salty. current place quite limited table, and always full house. lady boss Wendy said they r renovating the 2nd floor which can cater to bigger crowd, will be ready in Nov2025. it open from morning 1130am till next day 6am. the biggest challenge here is finding carpark lot… strongly recommended👍👍👍
