O my goodness gracious this was the best ride at cedar point, in America, in the world, in the universe, in the multiverse. Straight down drop at the beginning with so many smooth but fast turns left me speechless. I am actually surprised I made it out with my head, because wooden beams came so fast at your head but then you would duck down before you could process it. Turns came faster then you could imagine and u didn’t even know they were coming until you did them. All you could hear was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH coming from behind me but it was SO good.

Dude 5 stars is too low for this ride I feel like I’m insulting this ride by giving it 5 stars. It needs like 30!!! Best RMC I have ever ridden and by far the best ride at cedar point! Non stop air time and action. Really long ride as well which is awesome! I always use flash pass but if I didn’t the line can get REALLY long at like 2 hrs sometimes. Good thing is they have PLENTY of free lockers for ur phones, wallet, and anything else u need to secure. The metal detectors will be sure to tell if u missed something lol. No loose articles r allowed at all. Even in a zipper pocket. Which makes sense due to the rides extremely aggressive nature. The track is butter smooth and the whole ride is just straight up amazing! I was super lucky one night to get 3 rides in a row because the line was non existent and the adrenaline rush was still the same every time. The only way someone wouldn’t like this is if they had absolutely no soul and no concept of fun. If u get off this bored ur a lunatic and need to re evaluate ur life choices. Perhaps go drink in the last chance saloon and see where u messed up in life. BEST RMC EVER!!!!! Me and my sister love this ride! Btw if u need to use the ada pass like we do they have baskets to secure ur items so u wont need a locker. Just a friendly heads up for u ADA passes out there!

Google
Best roller coaster I have ever been on it’s fast, strong air time, some of the best inversions on a roller coaster. It’s just constant insanity throughout the layout

Ts no pmo fr fr no cap best ride at Cedar Point. So much airtime, long ride, wait not too bad, and the lap bars are very comfortable. I love airtime, I love steel vengeance.

Steel Vengeance is the best ride at Cedar Point, and maybe even best in the world. Formerly known as Mean Streak, Alan Schilke redesigned the wooden coaster into a hybrid. It now has inversions, a 200 ft drop, and crazy airtime. This is a must ride in the very back row, the airtime on the final bunny hills are insane. This took over Iron Gwazi as my number one, and it deserves to be number one in the world.

Oh how do I love Steel Vengeance. Steel Vengeance is not for the beginner coaster rider or faint of heart, as the speed, the airtime, the forces, and the inversions will knock you around like a ragged doll, but because it is all smooth, I can't get enough of it. Congratulations RMC and Cedar Point, this is my new favorite coaster.

Google
Ten stars if I could. Despite having some reliability issues, and lower than ideal hourly capacity, the ride experience of Steel Vengeance is the best at Cedar Point. This amazing RMC conversion, is fast, smooth, and full of great moments that come one after another for almost the entire duration of the ride. Probably the best coaster I have ever ridden.

Greg’s Coaster Collection: Ride #4 – Steel Vengeance Category: Hybrid Coaster | ⭐ Rating: 5/5 | 🎯 Best For: Thrill Seekers & Coaster Purists | ⏱ Wait Time: 🔴 (expect long waits, Fast Lane highly recommended) Steel Vengeance is the ultimate redemption story in Cedar Point history. It took the old, famously bumpy and back-breaking Mean Streak — an iconic, rough-and-tumble wooden coaster — and transformed it into a smooth, record-breaking hybrid monster that redefined what a roller coaster can be. The layout and structure pay homage to Mean Streak’s roots, but the new steel track brings insane airtime, crazy twists, and jaw-dropping drops that make you want to ride it again and again. The smoothness is mind-blowing — you feel every turn, every G-force, and it’s pure adrenaline from start to finish. Ride Stats: 5,740 feet of track • 74 mph top speed • 200-foot drop • 4 minutes 40 seconds ride time Best Seat: Back row for the wildest airtime and surprises Pro Tip: Ride early or late in the day to beat the crowds. This one’s a park favorite for a reason. 📸 Photo-Worthy? Yes, especially the massive drops and twists under the sun. Personal Note: Mean Streak was a legend, but Steel Vengeance is the coaster we always hoped it could become. I’m thrilled they kept the original spirit alive while launching it into a whole new league. Goodbye Mean Streak, hello Steel freaking Vengeance — you blew my mind.

Yelp
RMC took a piece of coal with the backbreaking old Mean Streak coaster languishing at the back of the park, sending out half empty trains, and turned it into a shiny diamond with the exhilarating Steel Vengeance, a ride that bares zero resemblance to Mean Streak beyond the better part of the wood support structure. It's crazy to think I hadn't been to Cedar Point since 2016 until last month and just logged my first ride on Steel Vengeance on that May Monday visit. SV has leapfrogged the mini but mighty Maverick as my new favorite coaster on this legendary Ohio peninsula and only the similar, steeper but shorter in duration Iron Gwazi down in Tampa is any competition for my favorite coaster overall. The line wasn't too bad but that was kind of the whole point of us choosing a school day before Memorial Day for our trip here. They could use some TVs or something in line, like they could for a lot of queues here. The formidable 200 foot, 90 degree first drop is some fun, anticipation building viewing... or at least it was for me. My fellow rider got some anxiety from it and my comic bit of trying to stand between her and the drop could only take the edge off so much as I'm only around 6 feet tall. The lockers were free, a welcome respite from the nickel and diming around here and only a mild annoyance, especially compared to the for pay, general use lockers by Magnum that were inoperable and appeared to charge Michelle's card anyway. Ride ops were efficient; it seemed like Cedar Point put their best in the back of the park for this and the also ever popular Maverick. We had a little wait on the brake run but I was too caught up in the afterglow of this relentless, ruthless ride to really care. The baby bunny hills are a fun little tease before the massive lift hill even if they wouldn't be out of place on a kiddie coaster. The view going up the lift hill is spectacular with Lake Erie on one side and the park on the other. Second best lift hill views behind only Millennium Force. The lift hill is also loud and steep, both of these things ratcheting up the anticipation. The 90 degree first drop is tremendous, like being shot out of a cannon. Another baby bunny hill is considerably more intense than the ones without all that momentum but it pales in comparison to the big outer banked top hat to follow. Another outer banked turn, double ups, double downs, twisting inversions and airtime hills galore follow with only a brief mid course brake run putting any kind of damper on the wild, relentless intensity of this thing. The patented RMC leg restraints make going upside down so much more fun than with the traditional over the shoulder numbers that feel like abbreviated versions of a straight jacket. Steel Vengeance is also insanely, luxuriously long, the one thing that makes me inclined to rank it above Iron Gwazi down in Florida. The breakneck pace, the way it snakes in and out of its own structure, the repeated, sustained airtime - if you don't have an ear to ear grin when you hit the brake run on SV you must not like roller coasters. Even after all of Michelle's kvetching she had to eventually admit this ride is awesome. Don't miss Steel Vengeance. I could go for about a hundred more rides on this if I could - at least.

Yelp
Now, Steel Vengeance is an RMC hybrid recreation. Where they take an old busted Wooden Coaster and turn it into a fantastic steel coaster. I never got to ride Mean Streak (it looked horrific), but I don't need to, because I already know Steel Vengeance is an improvement! Not only is Steel Vengeance an incredible RMC, it's one of the BEST coasters in the world! Seriously, most enthusiasts consider this to be one of the best coasters ever made, if not THE best. So it shouldn't come as a surprise to hear that this is one of the best coasters that I've ridden, maybe even my favorite (it's this, Maverick, X2 at SFMM or The Voyage at Holiday World). So we know we're in for a treat with this ride. So once we pull down the RMC lapbars, our ride begins. We hit small turn and a few bunny hills. These are pretty similar to the ones on Twisted Colossus, except, not nearly as good cuz you don't launch into them. But don't worry, the REAL airtime comes later! After climbing up the massive lift hill, we then hit the first drop. If you've ridden any RMC, you know exactly what kind of drop this is like. EJECTOR AIRTIME!!!! We then hit a speed hill which, HOLY SH*T, This element is SO FREAKING STRONG. One of the strongest airtime moments on ANY RMC. We then rise up into a MASSIVE airtime hill and get an amazing mix of both laterals and airtime. But then comes this massive outerbanked turn which, OH DEAR GOD, THIS MOMENT IS F*CKING CRAZY. This rivals RailBlazer for some of the most brutal airtime imaginable. You are just YEETED out of your seat and slammed back down in such a violent manner. After this you rise up into a double up, get some more great airtime into a 0 g roll. Which is fun, but Steel Vengeance has far more in store. We then hit a turnaround and then follow up with a sort of stall element. Yeah, it's pretty epic. Very reminisent of Twisted Colossus's Stall or Cannibal's Lagoon Roll (Both of which being top tier inversions). We then drop down getting some more amazing airtime (gonna stop describing the airtime, just assume it's all top tier airtime unless I say otherwise), and then rise back up into two more airtime hills before turning into the MCBR. Thankfully, this doesn't slow us down that much. We then drop down and hit yet another double up and rise into an outer banked turn, which of course, provides great airtime and laterals. We then dive under the structure and hit an overbanked turn, providing some great laterals and amazing airtime. Reminds me a lot of Lightning Rod's speed wave turn hill (used to be my favorite moment on an RMC until they removed the launch). We then hit another snappy 0 g roll followed up by two more back to back airtime hills. AND WE'RE STILL NOT DONE YET. We hit yet ANOTHER Wave turn which is just as good as the first one followed by YET ANOTHER 0 G ROLL. HOLY SH*T, THIS RIDE JUST KEEPS GOING AND GOING. And then, we hit the best moment on the ride. THE AIRTIME FINALE. YOU GET SIX OF THE MOST POWERFUL AIRTIME MOMENTS ON ANY COASTER BACK TO BACK TO BACK. YOU GO SIDEWAYS, YOU GO UP, YOU GO DOWN, IT'S ALL NUTS. And then, the magic comes to an end.... and you can't help but clap with joy. You just rode the Magnum Opus of RMC. Steel Vengeance is one of the greatest coasters ever made. Twisted Colossus is a 10/10 coaster that's a borderline 11, while Steel Vengeance is a 19/10 coaster that's a borderline 20. I know it's so common for people to say this is their #1 (Although idk if it is my #1, it's CLOSE, but i also REALLY love Voyage Maverick and X2), but I don't care. I love Steel Vengeance too much. Unfortunately, this ride hasn't had the best history as, this coaster is notorious for being closed frequently as it's one of the most unreliable coasters at Cedar Point (which says A LOT cuz this is a park that is known for its poor reliability). Despite it being one of my favorite coasters ever, I only rode it TWICE in FOUR DAYS cuz it either had a 2.5 hour wait or it was down for maintenance. I counted the amount of times it went down on me, and it ended up breaking down FIFTEEN TIMES in four days. So when you go to Cedar Point, GET THERE FIRST. And while yes, the struggle to ride it is a big one, IT'S WORTH IT! Steel Vengeance is worth it. I don't care if the apocalypses is happening or if this has a 4-5 hour line. RIDE STEEL VENGEANCE. You'll be sorry if you don't. And, good luck getting on it. Final Score: 100/100 Opened: 2018 Built By: Rocky Mountain Construction Last Ridden: May 22nd 2023

Yelp
This ride's 3 star rating. I don't know why people don't say this ride is mid. It really is. I love the layout. The best layout in the park by far. However, the trains are absolutely diabolical. Random obnoxious hump in the back of the seats. Oh god, that hump is horrendous. the shin guards are a little restrictive too, but not as bad. The operators stapled me and my dad, and I had just gotten off magnum beforehand, so that might be why. We're also a little rotund, per se. Anyways, my dad has back problems, and the diabolical hump did not help with that. Whenever you landed slightly wrong after an airtime moment, it hurt. It hurt quite bad. Also, my dad didn't have much of a problem with it, but that ride hurt my legs. Every airtime moment, it slams my legs into the lapbar, and it hurts. It had me begging for mercy by the second half. (I knew what was going to happen.) Also, the line was kind of long, but I don't really care for it after waiting 2 hours on Banshee one time. Gerstlauer, give this ride new trains! Please!

Yelp
Wow wee wow wow. The mean streak used to be a ride. One of the worst wooden roller coasters ever. Like don't get on it unless you wanna be in pain afterwards. I think it was one of the oldest wooden coasters???! Well they dismantled it back in like? 2017? And built a metal coaster throughout it. This was one of the most fun roller coasters ever. How smooth and badass It's become. As an employee called it, this is mean steaks older brother. Can't wait to go back and get on it again.

Yelp
No need to rehash all the great aspects of this world class roller coaster that tops most enthusiasts' lists. You know that already. One positive aspect that nobody seems to mention is that the crowd waiting in the queue tends to be a very offbeat, interesting sort of crowd. I went on SteVe literally 10X during my visit, and each time I found stimulating people to chat with. You do not get that with every roller coaster. Now onto the disadvantages of this roller coaster that nobody seems to mention. 1) The restraints are heavy and uncomfortable. It is hard to push them down and back up. The restraints also have shin guards, which I find detracts from the ride. Enthusiasts will complain about the restraints Skyrush has, but I have found those to be much freer actually. 2) There is no grab bar. Almost all roller coasters have a grab bar, which attaches to the seat in front of you, and you can hold onto it during rough moments. Steel Vengeance has none. Everyone knows that there are so many wild moments on this ride, so it would be nice to have the option, even if you chose not to use it. It hurts your back when you can't hold on. Most people don't seem to mind, however. 3) The seats are designed in a way that you can bang you elbow. The seat's contour curves around you, and then there is a hard flat surface over your elbows . . . especially if you have your hands up because there is no grab bar. I hit my elbow a few times, and I would say that is a design flaw. But please don't get me wrong. SteVe is one of the very top roller coasters in the world. But I just felt the need to point out disadvantages of the coaster that others fail to see because they are so euphoric about it. It is not my personal favorite.

Pepper D.

Yelp
I love the first half of the ride but I really don't like the restraints with the shin guards on other RMCs. The airtime hills back to the station got a little repetitive on my thighs. The wait for Steel Vengeance on every day is 90-120m like why is it so long? The fast line is 15 minutes bruh. Maverick Fast Lane is quicker than.

Yelp
This was my favorite coaster on my most recent trip! It was fun to be inside the wooden coaster structure but enjoying a very smooth steel track instead. We did it at night first and couldn't necessarily predict what was going to happen. Doing it again in the daylight the next day was a whole different experience and equally enjoyable. Note - you cannot have anything in your pockets or on your person at all. There are lockers outside the ride for $2 for 2 hours (I think) for fanny packs and bags. Inside the queue there are very small free lockers for cellphones basically. This is all metal detector enforced. One annoying thing is the ride photos are before you would be able to get your phone/wallet/anything back. So I have photos from all the other rides but this one.

Yelp
Cedar Point look like amateurs when you get to this coaster. It is NOT ready for prime time, which is why the wait is always so long. They need you to put ALL of your belongings in a locker before you ride, but they only tell you this piecemeal. They'll tell you to rent a $3 locker for large items before you enter the line . When you get to the platform, they make you go through metal detectors. If it beeps, it doesn't matter what set it off. It needs to go in a second locker, which is free. One guy had a tube of chapstick in his pocket. I don't know how that set off the metal detector, but when he pulled it out, they made him leave, put it in a locker, and then rejoin the line. Most of these free lockers did not work. And when you get off the ride, there is no signage telling you where to go to retrieve your items. It's a 2-sided locker. You get your stuff out of the opposite side of where you put it in. Most people see the lockers after the ride and think they're in the wrong place. The system was mind-bogglingly shoddy. Cedar Point should do what every other amusement park does for rides like this: PUT LOCKERS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LINE. Don't have staff riff on what should or shouldn't be in your pockets at various points in the line. Let people get rid of their stuff, and then get on the ride. The line would move faster, staff would be happier, and people could enjoy the coaster. As a ride, it's a knockout. But by the time you get on it, you will probably be so annoyed that the entire experience is soured as a result.

Yelp
The worlds longest tallest and fastest hyper hybrid coaster try saying that fast a few times and you'll be in a tongue twister just as much as you would be twisting with each amazing ride on Steel Vengeance! The first time I set eyes on this beast I was like wow this is a huge structure of epic proportions but it wasn't until I actually rode it that I was like this is totally an amazing ride time and time again! This is another RMC refurbishment of a wooden coaster gone steel to make it whole again as it's a great way to reuse the structure to make a whole new ride out of it with a whole different way to enjoy! The line can get super long as this is a very popular ride so I'd definitely recommend hitting it in the beginning of the day so you get a chance to ride it as you really don't wanna miss this coaster because it's incredible! Overall this is an amazing ride with a long track it's super fast and just kinda crazy with a Vengeance but needless to say this is one of my favorites on any given Cedar Point day!

Yelp
I waited in line for two hours. I was so excited to get on this ride because it was one of the only 5 opened. I got on. I was still excited. We start ascending up the lifthill. Then you hear SKREECH and the lifthill stops. They do an emergency evacuation and remove the restrainers, but then without restrainers on it starts again. They have to do emergency shutdown. Horrible experience. Would give zero stars if I could. I've been on it before and it was okay at best. It is rougher than the corkscrew (probably because in my 16 visits corkscrew was always closed) and milder than the Woodstock express.

Yelp
Wow. We had hopes of getting early access as we stayed at Breakers on-property, but a mechanical issue kept it closed until noon. So, we had a 2 hour + wait in line. But it was well worth it! Again, wow! This is unlike any roller coaster I've ridden. A true non-stop thrill. I think I spent more time above my seat than in it. Thankfully, the leg braces and lap restraint really kept me secure. Being slightly taller than average (6'2"), I felt compelled to duck during some of the tight spirals inside the complicated wooden infrastructure.... although it wasn't really necessary-- it was my visceral reaction to do so! Inversions! Air time! And... fast. This was an awesome experience. Don't let a long wait dissuade you from this. Wow.
google avatar

Derek V.

Yelp
A thrill every millisecond, Steel Vengeance easily became my favorite roller coaster upon first ride, leaving me speechless. It was only after the second, third and fourth time riding that I realized this was the coaster to beat from here on out. Where do we go from here? Amazing!

Yelp
Awesome newer roller coaster at cedar point. We had to wait almost 2 hours to ride it but it was well worth the wait. Was maybe the most enjoyable roller coaster I've ever rode.

Yelp
I don't usually review coasters but we rode this last night at the park and DAMN, I was impressed. We thought it said a 45-minute wait but it ended up being like 90... And worth it. However, they only let you bring keys and phones on the ride, which you have to stash underneath your seat in a zippered pouch. I ended up giving my fanny pack to my friend's daughter, who wasn't riding, and later regretted not grabbing my phone to entertain myself in line. The reason this gets 4/5 from me and not 5/5 is because of the security. I get that they want everyone to be safe on the ride but it took FOREVER, and I think it's partially why the line was so long ... once you get near the front of the line you have to go through a metal detector. As others have said, you get a green stamp if you have nothing to stash in the ride pouch, or a red stamp if you have your phone or something else to stash. The ride itself was WILD. They've taken Mean Streak and totally changed it... I know they added a steel track but it goes upside down at parts too. I did not regret waiting 90 minutes to ride it, let's put it that way. I also felt like I was going to fly out of my seat at some point so I was glad for the leg "restraints" that they had. Nice new addition to the park!

Yelp
The best roller coaster at cedar point! I never imagined I could enjoy a roller coaster that wasn't ridiculously tall. I don't even know where to begin... this roller coaster has a lot of "twisting, turning and RICOCHETING." The air time is the most I've ever experienced on a roller coaster. The twirls and turns are INSANE! You feel like you're falling out of your seat the entire time (but you feel safe because of the harnesses) and it's a super long ride. My favorite roller coaster of all time. If you go to cedar point I would implore you to try to get to this roller coaster AS SOON AS IT OPENS! The lines are insane all day so try your best to ride it as soon as the park opens. BEST. ROLLER COASTER. EVER. P.S. I've been on it at least 30 times.

Yelp
Repeat after me, "I am a roller coaster addict. I cannot be trusted to pass up riding any roller coaster." I love the adrenaline rush of riding roller coasters. The higher the coaster goes, the lower the coaster dips, the faster the coaster flies, the more that I love that coaster. The Steel Vengeance coaster wasn't open the last time that we went to Cedar Point and we were disappointed. Fortunately, we stayed on the Cedar Point property during this visit and we were able to get to the Steel Vengeance early in the day. I'll share a story that I heard Zoe Kravitz share about her father, Lenny Kravitz. She said, when asked if her father was a disciplinarian, "Don't let the leather pants fool you. My daddy did not play!" Words to the wise with regards to the Steel Vengeance, don't let the way the seats look fool you. Usually when a coaster is going to be a bad mamma jamma, the restraints on the seats look like a straitjacket. Not the seats on Steel Vengeance. Deceptively simple looking, they don't give any warning of the future death spirals that riders will be taken on. I was completely skeered, in a good way, while my heart leapt into my throat while the coaster took several turns... OMG! That roller coaster was the shiznit! So scary and exhilarating, I almost, almost wanted to get off of the ride. However, as soon as the ride was over, I wanted to get on it again. (That's the sign of a great coaster. It makes you so scared that you want to ride it again!) I was raised on Kennywood Park's Thunderbolt coaster, but the Steel Vengeance is on some next level that coaster fanatics must try.

Yelp
Wow wow and wow that is all I can say. It is one of my favorite rides I like to go on and it was definitely worth the drive of all the way from California. It just surprises you all the time. First drop was fun 2nd drop is way better. I enjoyed it a lot.

Yelp
best row is row 12 by far. you get so much airtime and are out of your seat for a large portion of the ride.

Yelp
This coaster is bad ass. Its unlike any coaster I've ever been on. The hill is so high, the drop is so damn steep but the adventure in the coaster itself is what's awesome. Tons and tons of airtime. Flying through the wooden track is the most awesome thing I've ever experienced on a coaster. Best one I've ever been on. Normally the wait is pretty long (2 hours). It was 2pm and the ride wasnt open yet. I noticed a line forming near the entrance and decided to wait in it. Once the ride opened, my wait was only 30 minutes which is actually amazing. I heard people mentioning that the fast lane line was an hour itself. Now, some downsides. No bags, fanny packs or anything large can be taken with you.. even in line. There are lockers outside the coaster but by the time you use the atm, get change and rent a locker so much time has passed. The line is already hourssssss long so this makes it even tough. I ended up running all the way back to Maverick to give my family our bags. Next, the line gets a little held up because you have to go though metal detectors to get on. If you have nothing in your pockets, you get a certain color stamp and a different color if you have items on you (phone, keys ect). there are zippered pouches in the train car. Everyone with a stamped hand/items in the pocket must have items in zippered bag. Part of the seatbelt check is getting your hand stamp checked to make sure your items are in the pouch. Apparently at a different park with a similar coaster a phone flew out on the ride and hit someone in the face. This thing is fast as hell and alot of the ride/track is within the old wooden coaster. Getting help to an accident happening in there could be life or death so I get it.. but the metal detector/stamp does cause some of the hold up and reason for a longer wait. After all of that... yes this coaster is epic. I highly recommend it being your 1st ride in the park. The line gets long as hell. Get it over with in the beginning and then maybe if you're lucky, later in the day you can ride it again... trust me you will want to ride it again!

Yelp
This ride was awesome the lines were extremely long but we fast passes. This ride completely took me by surprise. This ride is fast, fun and once over filled with laughter. I recommend riding this ride but please get the fast pass.

Yelp
Reviewing roller coasters feels like a review padding activity (part of Cedar Point) but here I will make my one and only exception. Steel Vengeance is one of those rides that is likely to remain at the top of "best of lists" for some time. It is that good. I rode Mean Streak (the frame SV is built on) when it first opened, waited two hours (used to have long lines back in the day as well) and have watched it decay for a long time in ride quality. It was THAT reason why I didn't really give SV a second thought this past summer. And, never thought it possible that this coaster retrofit could live up to the hype. Wrong. This ride is absolutely fantastic. It is long, fast, smooth, surprising, and it never lets up. It has massive drops, ton of airtime, inversions, sharp turns, weird angles, all of it. There just isn't anything like this at Cedar Point. It is hard to compare to anything else...it feels like Maverick elements, but faster, weirder, bigger, and more out of control. Lines this opening summer were up to six HOURS (stupid). We got lucky with the day of our visit and chance of rain and got in at 45 minutes. This will likely thin out over time. If you are a coaster junkie, this is one of those bucket list type rides. While my heart is still with Millennium Force, Steel Vengance is right behind it. Just a great ride. I sure hope Cedar Point takes better care of this than they did Mean Streak.

Yelp
this was my FIRST EVER ROLLERCOASTER AND I AM NEVER GOING BACK ON ONE!!!!!!! my stupid friend said "steve is the best coaster you have to go on it" like WHO EVEN NAMES A RIDE STEVE THATS SO STUPID!!! ITS A RIDE NOT A PERSON!!!!!!!!!!! they got me in line and I was kind of nervous because this thing is two hundred feet tall and made of wood?! how is that safe?! but he said that the engineering was great and it couldn't fall down. i decided to trust him... little did I know that this ride would TRY TO KILL ME. I LITERALLY KEPT GETTING LIFTED UP FROM MY SEAT! IF MY BAR BROKE I WOULD HAVE DIED!!!!! the coaster went upside down but that wasn't even the bad part because for the REST OF THE RIDE... I KEPT HITTING THE BAR. THEY NEED TO REDESIGN THIS AS IT IS NOT SAFE. i think I am too light for this ride and they need to add a minimum weight requirement to keep people from almost getting FLUNG!

Yelp
By far best rollercoaster I've ever been on. For a wooden rollercoaster it's amazing let alone its got so much thrill to it so much going on ups, down ,turns, drops. It's so fun I promise the wait is worth it. Waited an hour and a half for the ride was amazingly worth it, though they only have one train running at the moment but for sure need to try it.

Yelp
three words. IT WAS SICK! Once the drop starts, take a deep breath cause you are not getting another one! The whole ride was butter smooth and fantastic from its 4 inversions to the two massive overbanked turns! This is the best ride in the whole park, no questions asked. Best in the world in my opinion. I don't care how long the line is, boy is it worth it! The one downside is the mandatory lockers tho. They are super strict. They won't even let you carry a metal credit card in your zipped up pocket! That is how you know it's going to be a crazy ride. Other than that it's pretty much a perfect coaster!

Yelp
One of the best RMC Hybrids on the planet. A must ride if you have a chance to check it out.

Yelp
Line takes FOREVER even with Fast Lane pass and on a Wednesday! Very disappointed. It is a sweet coaster but Cedar Point sells too many Fast Lane passes.

Yelp
Wow amazing coaster smooth and fast the first drop. Was a long wait but worth it. Be ready to remove everything from your pockets. Especially no cell phone aloud on the ride.

Yelp
I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It was just that good, and i knew it was a good day since I lost my hat.

Yelp
This is such a beautiful ride. It is full of airtime ejector and floater. It also has four inversions with upside down airtime. The drop also has some good airtime in it(especially in the back). This has to be the first ride you ride when you come to Cedar Point.

Yelp
Best ride I have ever been on. Even rides at Magic Mountain cannot top this one. It is insane, I don't remember a whole lot of this ride, but one thing for sure is you fly and spin ALOT. I love that there is nowhere to put your hands, it makes it so much better!! The leg restraints make me feel really safe and secure. 10/10

Yelp
5/5 for the ride. 2/5 for the staff they hired to run this ride. Very unprofessional, rude & condescending. At the end of they day they need to realize that they're welcoming guests into their park & how they treat their guests hopefully ensures a visit back. Well not the case for this group of staff members hired.

Yelp
I went to Cedar Point recently for three days and was only able to ride this coaster ONCE because every other time we tried it was shut down. We also waited an hour, despite the fact that the park was not that crowded. This coaster is really fast with good air time but therein lies a problem- my thighs got major bruises from the restraints which still have not completely healed. So maybe I can't give this a fair review because constant closures plus injury doesn't equal a great coaster to me.

Yelp
My words won't do this ride justice but wow!! This ride was so hyped up from the start and it lived up to those expectations and more. I got to ride it twice in the same day, both times under a 45 minute wait and I can't believe how awesome it was. My all-time roller coaster top 5 list has definitely changed after my last trip to Cedar Point but I can safely say this made that list and is competing for the top spot. Still so in awe at this coaster, from the ride itself, to how it's built! Just wow!! Total coaster fangirl right here!!

Yelp
This ride is the newest ride at cedar point and it was a good hit. Me and a buddy checked this ride out and I'm happy we did. It just opened about a month ago from my understanding and the line was probably one of the longest waits. I think we waited almost two and a half hours just to ride this and was sitting up in the front. The line did have water fans with it being so hot out in some areas so that was pretty cool and refreshing I thought. Once you get up tords the gate of the line where the ride is there's a good view of Lake Erie that I love. The ride it's self looked fun but it was hard to know what to expect so this was a big shocker to me. Lots of twist and turns that take you by surprise and I can bet it makes you scream with laughter of how fun it is. As always the ride is over with so quick for how long you wait but it was definitely a fun ride. Overall next time I come back this would be one of the first rides I ride in hopes the line would be much shorter.

Yelp
There is a reason this ride is ranked so high on any coaster list. It delivers. I'm a huge fan of the RMC redesigns of the old wooden coasters. They know what they are doing. They redesigned Iron Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, The Texas Giant, and a few others, and now this behemoth, easily the best in the park. The long lines are a drawback, but also tell the story of how good it really is. It's a smooth ride that has many inversions, and air time throughout. The speed is impressive as well. Wait it out and do it.

Yelp
Great ride! The only thing that I would change is that I waited 4 hours to get on it.

Yelp
My new favorite ride at CP! The 2 hour wait was well worth it! The ride is so smooth and the experience is great!

Yelp
Amazing, unexpected fun. We got in line as soon as the park opened and waited just over an hour. It was fast, lifted up up off my seat pretty much the entire time, and the turns were intense. A definite must ride.

Yelp
By far the wildest roller coaster I've ever been on!!! From start to finish there was never a dull moment! About 30 seconds of this 2 minute ride your are spent at zero g!!! Plus four inversions at about 75mph is completely awesome!!!

Yelp
This roller coaster is now my new favorite thrill ride. Well worth the wait for the over 2 minute ride. Great airtime!!!

Yelp
Even though I have not rode it yet, its Cedar Point their the greatest!!!! So This ride looks VERY promising! Cant wait to ride it!!

Yelp
It's a fun ride but has very poor reliability - routinely breaks down with very little communication as to realistic expectations for re-open times, wait times and known issues. It's a gamble even attempting to get in line because just when you reach half way, it breaks down. I suggest attempting to try riding when there's less than a 15 minute wait; any more time is too risky.

Yelp
I waited 3 hours for this damn thing and it was so worth best roller coaster there so amazing recommend it to everyone
