We had a wonderful experience. The location is great right next to the main train station, rooms were lovely, but what made this place amazing was Carina at breakfast. She is a hard worker, and very kind. She made our experience for sure. Thank you for the great service!

1) Paid £456 for 1 night stay (increased prices during football tournament). Have been told by hotel manager via Expedia that I do not meet the conditions for a refund!||2)Journey started from Glasgow at 3am|3)Arrive hotel 11am |4) Not permitted to check in at 3pm - stated policy check in time|5) Not even permitted to check in at 6:30pm. |6) Not permitted to use any property facilities other than the public area toilets (No spa, shower, pool, no bed to sleep in until 11pm) that we had paid for |7) Due to attending the football game, we were not permitted to access our room until 11pm!! |8) Arrive to the room to find feather bedding despite requests for hypoallergenic bedding (sister has allergy and asthma). |9) 30mins later - we were given duvets without covers and one thin pillow each.|10) No sofa bed as stated online so had to share a bed which resulted in|11) Hours sleep as a result 3hours in 36hrs|12) Too exhausted from the day before to get up in time for breakfast.|13) No offer of even a free drink at the bar but they were happy to let us spend it. |14 ) All of this and I have been told I don't meet the conditions for a partial or full refund.||I knew something was strange when I was sent an email (attached) the previous night telling me not to come to the hotel until after the Euro football game that was taking place that day. I thought there must have been some sort of mistake so…|Arrived at the property 11am, to be told we couldn’t check in. Our room wasn't ready. I was of course understanding of this given it was fully booked the night before.|We went to get food with the intention of having 2 hours sleep before the football game and an early the next day. |It transpired that the hotel had been booked by UEFA for the Scotland team. We should have been found alternative accommodation but unfortunately they have taken a huge room fee as well as the huge amount of money that UEFA must have paid them to treat their normal guests like cattle.|We left the hotel exhausted and after having given the opportunity for them to rectify this situation, you have told Expedia that I do not meet the conditions for a refund!!||Only thing I can say is the reception and bar staff did their best to keep our spirits up and let us charge our phones. I certainly did not use £456 pounds worth of electricity though.Sleep deprivation ruined what should have been a good end to an amazing stay in Germany.

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Steigenberger Hotel. Great location as it’s right next to the walking street, across the street from the train station and there’s a nice city park on the other side of the train station. Also a supermarket one block away. Looking forward to another stay!

Outstanding hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable with a king sized bed, easy chair, couch, desk and side table. The desk and TV divide the sitting area from the sleeping area. Television rotates for viewing from couch or bed. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel. Hotel should offer CNN and one or two entertainment programs in English. While we speak German and French and do not spend much time in room, a show other than BBC News etc. in English would be welcome. Breakfast was excellent.

Solo trip for three nights en route from Chicago to Munich. Chose the hotel for its location across the street from the Hbf, and its reputation.||The hotel did not disappoint in any respect. Deluxe room was, well, deluxe. Comfortable, spacious, great water pressure. Jet lag wore off quickly.||The hotel isn’t inexpensive, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was very welcome. ||I was especially pleased with the wonderful and friendly service in the restaurant, snd the personal helpfulness of the manager, Mr. Ahmed.||Highly recommended on all counts.

This was for a family holiday of 4 nights. In short, excellent. Firstly, its in the centre of town, directly across the road from the main transtation which means transport from the airport and using local trains is very easy. It also means you can walk to the main shopping strip (Kongstrasse) in 2 minutes. After hours (for supply) shops are also easily visited in the train station if needed. Security is good and if you need parking, 25 euro underneath is easy once you ask how, its hotel only. The room we had was very large and quiet, despite the station across the road. The bed was very comfortable. As noted, the TVs are well outdated and need sorting. They were likely cutting edge 25 years ago but for the first 2 nights we couldn't even figure out how to use them as they load up with this PC like interface. When we did figure it out, there are basically no English channels which is not ideal. The room was very clean, but could use some cutlery. Also, it seems there is no complementary water. We were provided with two bottles on day 1 (I dont know if complimentary or I paid for them), and after that, no more for 4 days? The gym is nice and has adequate equipment from running machine, stepper, rowing machine and other equipment. The main complement goes to the breakfast staff, very pleasant. They greet you everymorning and sort it all with excellent service. The only slight disappointment was 2 mornings they dont open the buffet as the hotel didnt have as many guests, regardless, they still cook what you like. Overall, an excellent hotel and we are glad to have stayed there.

I am coming home to this hotel for over 20 years unfortunately this time was the last time. The service was really sub standard in 5 star property. Let me explain it all started that I asked for extra service drinks and food in the room when we arrive. First email no response at all than I called they could not find the reservation after 4 hours reservation, done through the hotel confirmed. The room was decent but expensive over 700 euros for 2 nights. Breakfast was the biggest issue hence documented by many pictures. Two staff members for a weekend service one motivated but rude one hopelessly lacking motivation and not seeing what could be done. Arriving at breakfast at 1000 most tables were dirty most dishes empty especially water, champagne etc Also the zeppelinos bar lacks charm and the old days of the nice breakfast room with a view are missed. One can feel and see the shortcuts cost savings etc … last time for us expensive but certainly not worth the money!

The Steingenberger Graf Zeppelin hotel was a great hotel to stay at in Stuttgart. The big positive about this hotel is its location being directly across the road from Stuttgart main station. Just to the right as you exit from the hotel is the U Bahn station and a block away is the main shopping mall. As soon as we approached the reception desk, we were greeted by a lovely young lady who checked us in promptly. Asked us if would like recommendations for places to see and restaurants to eat at. Sure thing. She gave us a tourist map of the city and three restaurant recommendations. We chose one of her recommendations, Valle, an Italian restaurant that we absolutely loved. The room was modern, clean and spacious. A well equipped mini bar was in the room along with kettle and a Nespresso machine. Upon checking out, we were given more recommendations of places to visit so we did. The hotel’s staff really made our short stay pleasant and I highly recommended this hotel to any traveler going to Stuttgart.
