Steigenberger Grandhotel & Spa Heringsdorf

I've been here before but my last visit was so disappointing. Heringsdorf is great and the area is beautiful. I love taking walks there during fall/winter. And then go to the SPA. But the sauna's are not even heated until three in. the afternoon. And the pools, which I loved, are soooo cold. I only got in to the knees and left. This was for sure my last visit since I don't need to spend that money for a cold spa. Plus, while the breakfast looks good it feels the quality of the food has also dropped e.g. the fruit salad tasted like it was processed and been cut a while back. All in all just disappointing.

Very nice hotel from the grounds to the pool to the very good breakfast. Also the room is nice, although there was a damp smell in the bathroom all the time. The bummer - and not acceptable for a 5 star hotel - is the room cleaning: Randomly replaced towels but the worst: the bedsheets have NOT been replaced once during the 4 night stay! Something not acceptable at all let alone in a 5 star hotel! There was no card to place on the bed which is standard in 5 star hotels that don't change bed linens every day by default; so the default here is no change of bed linen at all! On the last night the bed was not even arranged (see pictures)! Also no fruit in the room which is standard even in 4 stars hotels in this area. Also your car you have to park alone underground, there is no valet and bell hops seem to exist but I think you have to ask them to help with the luggage (!) - when I arrived there was no one there, probably they were off-duty already. So the bottom line is: average for this hotel category.

Excellent hotel with good service, great flair located directly at the beach front. The hotel is modern and the rooms are furnished accordingly. The breakfast and the food in general is good. The spa area is well equipped and spacious enough, even if the hotel is fully booked.

We ordered 2 bottles of water, we had to pay 20 euros for it.Parking in the hotel costs 24 euros per day be careful about it.Room was cold cause heating was not functioning. Not recommended.

This is a fabulous hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was amazing, and the location is unbeatable. We spent three nights here. I wouldn't say there's a huge amount to do in seebad heringsdorf, but if you're needing some chill time with some interesting historical context in the surrounding area, this is definitely worth a visit.|We didn't have dinner here, but if the breakfast is anything to go by, you'd be in for a huge treat.|We did sample the cocktails in the bar and they were fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Excellent and perfect stay .Very hostile and helpful staff . Mrs Gabriela and Mr Maciek at the desk , Mr Witold , Ms Kornelia in the bar and many more .|As a Pole - we are few km from Polish border , no polish tv channels . Suprisingly , we have 3 russian ones !!?? Now , to have russians channels in an offer is not only a matter of politics , it is a matter of taste .

Had a very comfortable stay here at the grand. The buffet breakfast was up with the best we have had around the world. Omelettes made to order, multiple freshly made juices, heaps of hot and cold choices. Also had a great club sandwich at the bar the evening before. Located right next to the beach, i am sure this place rocks during the summer.

I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The spa was incredible, I really enjoyed the saunas. It's very close to the beach as well. The included breakfast is great but it would be nice to have some labels for some things and some vegan options.

The sofa cushions slide out every 5 minutes. A suite gets you the view of the back of the TV. Dinner in the Lilienthal dining room took forever. The coffee table in my room is wobbly. The door handle on the shower door is loose. They forgot to bring up the child seat and the slippers. One time they forgot about our room service order. The Internet is slow. Yes, all first world problems. But when a place costs this much, I expect first class service. And this place doesn't deliver. And what's with the towel cards that are a 50€ deposit?! But it's not far from Berlin and my kid likes the pool and I like the beach. So hey, go figure. And the breakfast buffet is pretty good, especially the omelets. And the people who work here are nice. But the coffee is terrible.
