It doesn’t feel like a 5-star hotel making the regular price too expensive for what they offer. I got a good discount therefore it’s much to the level.|The swimming pool area is the hotel’s main attraction and should be the first to be remodeled as a real 5-stars. It got some very bad taste details, as super white, too bright and harsh lights, and with some cheap white tiles on the floor, you feel more in a hospital than in a 5-star hotel. They urgently need a decorator who knows what he/she is doing. (Nowadays who likes white lights? I think just hospitals and dentists)|The room (comfortable room category) is fine but still needs some remodel, specially the bathroom which is not a place you want to be. The bed and pillows were good, as well as the air conditioning. |The breakfast, I would say on the average side. For a 5-star, berries is mandatory in my opinion. If not, there are the same cheap fruits you find in a 3-or-4-star hotel. And the fruits they have, were poorly selected, had no taste at all.

We have had very goid memories if the hotel so we decided to visit on short notice for 3 nights. ||We hardly recognised the place. It has mutated into a rabbit warren. This was very hard for my elderly mother and with a slight walking disability. I suppose we have been the only people without kids and or a pet dog. Of course we love kids and pet dogs. What we do not live it kids jumping up and down on the sofas or pet dogs sitting on sofas. ||Our expectations in regards to food have not been met. The menus did not offer any healthy choices. chips or pommes as the germans say arrived undercooked. The icing on the cake was a cesars salad, with sliced olives and tomatoes. The picture speaks for itself. The drama that followed was terrible. Sorry but Steigenberger you lost us . Not sure who is your target group but it is obviously not us.

This was our second visit to this hotel (and we have already booked our third). It is supremely comfortable, with excellent and helpful staff, extremely comfortable beds/pillows, a fabulous spotlessly clean spa area and a gorgeous warm all-year-round outdoor pool. I would highly recommend this wonderful place for a spa break of complete peace and restoration. What a shame (or is it a benefit?!) that people in the UK don't know about this gorgeous place.

We learned about the town from a friend and after searching for hotels picked the property as our “base” for 2 nights in the area. The hotel is just wonderful. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and pre booked 2 massages in the spa. They were excellent. We then had dinner in the Bavarian restaurant and had a wonderful meal. The following day after much touring around the area, we returned in the early evening. We had a light bite in the hotel lounge and the food was very good. Breakfast is excellent, as is the breakfast room. Staff is super helpful.

It’s the ideal destination for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious retreat. I will definitely be coming back again and again! Five stars all the way!

Amazing spa resort hotel 🏨. Beautiful rooms surrounded by park 🏞️ and gardens. Very generous breakfast. Excellent spa and pools facilities. Choice of restaurants on site (Bavaria and French.) Service is welcoming and friendly.

We stayed for two nights in the family suite just after new year. Looking for some rest and relaxation for the family in-between major cities and skiing. Extensive wellness area. We dropped the average age down a little. It was a public holiday our full day there so all shops were closed :( our fault for not checking. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced - so many great selections. Overall we really enjoyed our short stay to re-charge before exploring Germany further.
