Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir Cairo

My partner and I stayed five nights at this ideally located hotel, perfect for exploring Cairo and its surroundings. We appreciated the warm welcome from the reception staff, as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the various facilities. The hotel also has a very pleasant swimming pool, ideal for cooling off after a day of sightseeing. However, we were disappointed with the pool bar service, which was not up to standard: the young women were unfriendly, and the service was slow and unprofessional. They did not hesitate to serve our drinks without a tray, without sugar, etc., unlike other guests. That said, we were served by a young man on one occasion, and everything went smoothly. Finally, we would like to highlight the outstanding quality of the breakfast. It was the first time I had seen such a wide selection. The buffet is extremely varied, there is something for everyone, and all the products are fresh. We also appreciated the hotel’s security, with guards at the entrance and a security gate. We would gladly stay again at this beautiful hotel in Cairo. Thank you.

Our second Steigenberger Hotel and second satisfaction, thank you. Great Hotel, Great Breakfast and Great Team ! The hotel made our stay in Cairo very comfortable. The place is cozy but fairly enough - except for the pool which is 120cm deep and rather small, near a busy road. The team is working hard to ensure the great service. The location in the heart of Downtown between the Airport and Pyramids/near the Museum is strategically good. The room is always stable - cleaning at a high level.

But what made our breakfast experience truly exceptional was our wonderful waitress, Sherouk. Her warm smile and attentive service transformed our meal into something special. Sherouk was not only knowledgeable about the menu, providing recommendations that enhanced our dining experience, but she also went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her genuine enthusiasm for her job and her willingness to make our morning memorable truly stood out. In summary, breakfast at the Steigenberger Hotel in Cairo is a delightful experience, made even better by the outstanding service from Sherouk. For anyone visiting Cairo, this breakfast is a must-try, and I can't recommend it enough!

The breakfast at this hotel was excellent with a wide variety of options to choose fromeverything was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. What truly made the experience stand out was Donia. She was a wonderful host warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure guests felt comfortable and taken care of, which really elevated the entire breakfast experience. Her hospitality added a personal touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Overall, a great start to the day and a highlight of my stay.

Very nice hotel. Appreciated hotel rooms which was very clean. Well located in lively area. Many shops and supermarket nearby. Breakfast offers nice variety of products to please almost everyone. Pleasant service and staff willing to help. In the evening (it was a Friday), nice singer at the bar which makes the experience unique.

Incredible hotel! We stayed in a Steigenberger hotel in Luxor and in now in Cairo. The experience was amazing. The staff were all so helpful and it felt that they all genuinely care about guest experience. The food was outstanding - over and above what we expected. The breakfast buffet had so many options - it was exceptional. The pool area is very nice and there is also a wellness centre, with gym and spa. The room itself was brilliant. We opted for a pool view superior room and the facilities in the room were fantastic - it included an iron, robes and slippers, shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, hand wash and lotion, hairdryer, plenty of plugs, a safe, minibar (with lots of choice), and room service available. The list could go on. The housekeeping service was also brilliant. We could not fault this hotel! It's luxury within the bustling Downtown of Cairo.

Sherouk, Donia and Mr. Ahmed and all the team for Breakfast were very helpful. They were always keen to see and fulfill our needs and made sure that our breakfast was a wonderful experience. Many thanks to them.

Spent my final 2 days (after almost a month in Egypt) at the Steigenberger El-Tahrir Cairo. It was an excellent choice. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are super-comfy and well-appointed, the breakfast spread is huge and yummy, and all the hotel staff are warm, friendly and helpful - hearty thanks to Monica, at reception! I opted for a hot stone massage at the hotel spa just before leaving for the airport - it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Big thank you to my massage therapist, Walaa!! I’m ready for my long flight home!
