Decent hotel, good breakfast. Convenient location. Excellent bed. Quiet. Large bathroom. Problems: courtyard facing rooms are a bit dark; housekeeping issues (towel from carpet floor back on rack, dusty wardrobe shelves, forgets to replenish shower gel, ear buds etc). This is with daily tipping :). I did not try the spa and the restaurant.

Having stayed at this hotel three times now, what impresses is the style it exudes, all the comforts, amenities and facilities it offers - and that it all works seamlessly. Lovely staff in all areas are also worthy of note. The location could not be better. If attending either the Opera or Gewandhaus, an easy 8 minute walk will see you there.

A wonderful hotel, everything is close by, it is in the very center of the city. All the fun and interesting places are nearby. Transport 5 minutes from the hotel We liked everything, we will definitely come again. We had a nice girl cleaning, very attentive to detail. We liked that. I am a huge fan of the Steigenberger Hotels in Germany. Elegance, ambience, cleanliness and a wonderful staff. Centrally located in the middle of the city. Close to shopping, eating and sightseeing. The breakfast is out of this world, as it is in all of the Steigenberger hotels. A la carte as well as buffet. Restaurant and bar adjacent to the lobby.

This is a grand old hotel with excellent service and beatifully appointed rooms, a great breakfast buffet, a good lobby bar, and good food.

We had an absolutely amazing time in Leipzig and this hotel was a big part of the very comfortable experience. On arrival, I noticed the care that the reception staff took to answer all guest requests (in excellent English by the way). Special thank you to Mr Ahmedi who patiently dealt with all my little questions and to Frau Beer who made the check-out experience very smooth. We loved the very well-appointed, spacious and comfortable room we were in. That walk-in closet was brilliant! Very central location with everything in easy walking distance including the transport links. The breakfast was of excellent quality and had everything you could wish for and more. Would 100% stay here again if we ever return to this charming city! We didn’t want to leave the place.

Just stayed two nights here. Beautiful lobby area. And the room we had was as nice as one could hope for. The hallways on the lodging floor seem a bit dated and depending on your room location quite a distance from the elevator.||The location is absolutely outstanding and I would definitely recommend staying here
