Stella Hotel Interlaken

There are 5 stars reviews because this place is that amazing! We stayed here for my husband’s birthday and so glad we did! Every single staff member here is nice and smiling. We stayed here 4 nights so comfortably. The view was incredible, location is perfect, and a very clean hotel. Will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Interlaken!

Hotel Stella was one of the nicest and friendliest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The main receptionist (wish we remembered his name!) went above and beyond to help us in every way.||We loved the daily breakfast, availability of coffee (not just black—any kind you want!), and the constant supply of water. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning view from the balcony. And best of all—the room had air conditioning! Kids loved it and so did we. ||The location is perfect—right in the heart of everything.|An excellent stay all around. We’d highly recommend it!

Such a wonderful hotel and in a great location, we really enjoyed our time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed |The pool was fantastic, we used it everyday after having a busy day out. It really helped us relax.

Spent 3 lovely days in the hotel. Brilliant location close to Interlaken West station and the centre of Interlaken. Wonderful staff who were really helpful. Very comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. Great hotel pool. Terrific breakfast. Would definitely book again if returning to Interlaken.

A fabulous hotel in Interlaken, the Stella is in a quiet location off the main street, but very close to Interlaken West station, perfect for day trips by train to other Swiss cities, villages or mountain destinations. The hotel is clean, comfortable and, while not luxurious, we found it met all our needs. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and patiently answered lots of questions about what to do locally and the best public transport options and routes etc. The kids absolutely loved the indoor pool after a day of sightseeing, and the breakfast was great too. Absolutely no complaints; we highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at the Stella Hotel in Interlaken. Our rooms were very spacious with all the amenities you'd expect! Our son's room for his family of 3, actually gave our 14 year old granddaughter room for herself, and we had an amazing rooftop terrace were we could see the Jungfrau and watch the paragliding!|Location was excellent! Easy to use both train stations, two blocks from main park and downtown! Also easy to get to mountain and lake activities!|Staff was great, helpful and informative! Fixed a minor problem in our room immediately without bothering us at all! Gladly fixed our party, breakfast to go bags when we had to leave on excursion before breakfast! Breakfast itself was good with many options to choose from (hot and cold).|The atmosphere, eating breakfast in the garden, was a great way to start your day!

The hotel is 7 minutes from Interlaken West and the view is amazing. It is an easy walk from the station to the hotel. Elisabeth and her staff were so friendly and nice to us at the hotel. We stayed there for one night (wish we had stayed longer) and loved it. The bathroom was tad small. Breakfast was out of this world. One of their staff member recommended home made cake with cheese and it was delicious. The cappuccino machine was a life saver. Many different restaurants at walking distance. Loved our stay!

We had a great stay at Stella Swiss Quality Hotel with our 2 children. Nick and the other staff at the front desk were always pleasant and helpful. I even emailed a few times before our stay to find out about laundry, food, etc and I was always surprised at how quick and complete the replies were to my requests. It was great to have a parking spot available at the back of the hotel. Our rooms were quite spacious with a huge private balcony. The bedrooms had plenty of space to store our luggage. The welcome bowl with fruits and chocolates were a nice added touch as well as the 4 tickets to the Beatus caves! Nick was so helpful in giving us plans for what we should see during our short stay in Interlaken. The hotel is a short walk to many restaurants, shops, etc. It's also great to have a microwave in the lobby with bowls, plates and utensils for when we wanted to just pick up food and bring it to the hotel to eat. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Perfect hotel for us! The wonderful owners, Bastian and Elisabeth, helped us with our lost luggage challenges and gave us a magical itinerary to follow around Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, etc. Interlaken is quiet in mid-December, so they surprised us with an upgraded suite at no extra charge. Breakfast was amazing. Highly Recommended!

We are wending our way through several countries and randomly stopping where we please. The Stella Hotel was a brilliant choice. The hotel is solid in every way. Comfortable beds, good food, Toblerone on the bed, great shower and stunning views. What makes the hotel and restaurant truly special are the owners and staff. Imagine an entire hotel staffed by friends who just want to make your visit wonderful. Highly recommend because we're entirely delighted.

The hotel is nice, the staff was friendly, the pool is nice and the breakfast fair. The most important thing about a hotel is to be able to rest. They have no air conditioning and it was the top floor, so it was so warm it was impossible to sleep. I understand most of the year they don't need air conditioning, but they should have it for hot days, if you pay 350 CHF/night you expect that.
