Stella Maris Resort Club

We would like to thank Jill, the entire staff and chef for an outstanding vacation. There dedication to their guests is amazing. Questions were answered promptly, anything you needed assistance with was addressed in a timely fashion. The food was delicious and very fresh. A few examples of how they go above and beyond for their guests. We were late on arrival to Stella Maris, we were very hungry since we were unable to eat all day. I called and asked if we could come up earlier than our reservation. The answer was yes, even though they weren't even serving dinner yet. The liquor store was closed. A phone call by Stella Maris and the fine gentleman at the store opened up for us. Lastly, I messed up filling out paperwork for our return flight to Nausau. (put our arrival time in Atlanta, not our departure time from Long Island) They called the air resort to help me correct my error. If you have plans to go to Long Island, Bahamas, and want an amazing, memorable vacation, I would call STELLA MARIS RESORT. Thanks, Pam, Gregg and Shannon

Excellent location on Long Island. Beautiful grounds with friendly staff. The natural pool is a great site to see. Our dinner was excellent. Fresh food. Recommend the grouper and the bread rolls. Cute little gift shop. Lots of activities to chose from is you stay on site.

If you're traveling to the Bahamas the Stella Maris Resort Club on Long Island should be your travel destination. The grounds were breath-taking, room was quiet with excellent views, food was delicious, but the best thing about this resort is the staff. Jill, DD, Joel, Jamie, Chanel, Kate, Noel, Anja, Amanda, and every single person there made our first visit there and certainly not our last, one of the best we've ever had. They even have an air service with the one and only Captain Joel to get you to and from Nassau airport safely and comfy. Thank you so much everyone! We highly recommend Stella Maris Resort Club, |

I can’t recommend Stella Maris highly enough! The GM Jill and all of the staff went out of their way to provide my wife and 3 kids and incredible vacation in every way! We stayed in the starfish house which my wife and I agreed was the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The infinity pool looking out over the ocean is something we will never forget. The food is outstanding and we had so much fun at the beach bar with our kids. It’s the prefect place for a laid back family vacation but there is so much to do for the adventurous. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Did not stay at this resort, came to look at the scenery. Beautiful scenery and beautiful views of the Atlantic. Not many places to snorkel or swim but there is a nice tide pool that you can sit in.

Came down with family and kids and this place is amazing. Stayed in Dolphin house which was perfect for the entire family!! Food was excellent, staff was excellent, and service was top notch! special shout out to Joel, Jill, Monica, and Rashad (hope I spelled that right) you all made this family vacation amazing and so did the rest of the staff. Side note..... i read some other reviews about the no see-ums, just use bug spray you will be fine!!!

We were disappointed to learn that our favourite bar haunt with pool table was not open for food anymore- covid and staffing? It used to make the best club sandwiches ever. However we tried the restaurant for dinner and it was great- great food and outstanding service. We don't stay in the hotel but if my wife comes again she wants to stay here rather than the more luxurious establishment to the north. Walking round the grounds and along the stunning atlantic frontage is memorable.

We had a wonderful vacation on Long Island earlier this month, and Stella Maris was a great part of what made it very special. We stayed in the sand dollar cottage and it was delightful. The views are incredible and it was a treat having our morning coffee in the screened patio overlooking the ocean! While the season was basically over, we found plenty of places to eat. Our favorite place was Docky's Flats Bar. The seafood was so delicious!! Everyone at Stella Maris was pleasant and helpful. Jill had everything organized and that made for a stress-free trip. While my husband fished with Docky, I found Stella Maris to be a wonderful place to relax, and definitely look forward to a return trip soon!! Thank you everyone at Stella Maris!!!!||||Bonafide Bonefishing- I was lucky enough to fish for three days with Docky. I found him to be an excellent guide and great guy to fish with. Thanks to Docky's guiding skills, patience and well trained eyes I was able to hook-up with many beautiful bonefish. I am relatively new to saltwater fly fishing and have a long way to go- even with my limited skills Docky made it possible for me to have chance after chance to cast to the fine fish found on Long Island. He also taught me a lot about the flats and gave me a casting clinic while we fished. Docky is quite an entrepreneur with knowledge of and interest in many things beside the fish.
