Loved the vibe, food & drinks. Beautiful day.Garage doors open. They have thee BEST Wisconsin Cheese Curds!! The place was packed. Had a great time. Susie, one of the bartenders, was a lot of fun! She was ready to come back home with us to AZ.

Susie, our bartender, was phenomenal! Her exceptional service and hilarious personality had us laughing all night. We brought two friends for their first visit, and they raved about the food. The bar service was top-notch, and sharing four appetizers and two main plates was a delight. Can’t wait to return!

Food was okay, my wife had a salad with a hunk of chicken and a combo of fresh (or canned??) beets and dried out beets akin to chow mein noodles. She wasn't happy with it but refused to complain. I had some quesadilla that was ginormous and the flavour was super too. That was a win. Our server was attentive and nice, kudos to her and thank you! They gave us some small plates when we sat down and one had a chunk of something on it. Also, there wasn't any bread or pre-meal food, so confused about why there were plates. There were a couple indicators on the menu and elsewhere that a mandatory 3% is added to the bill for "inflation" charges. This is the first place I've seen this in the dozen or so dining experiences this past year. I honestly wish you'd just mark up your food and blend it in...i understand inflation hits everyone but that doesn't seem like a good way of sharing that. Sounds like someone pointed out a 3% surcharge three years before my review...humn? Our receipt for the bill gave us recommended tip levels and dollar amounts beginning at 20% and that put some unnecessary pressure on me to do table-side math to figure out what my percentage would be minus the 3% from earlier. May or maynot be back, who knows; this was a knee-jerk dining decision.

Had an overall delicious meal and pleasant first time at Stella’s! I was a bit worried when I’d seen some reviews about inconsistency from recent patrons but Stella’s pulled thru tonight. To start, I tried their oysters that have a balanced, tasty nam jim Thai sauce on them. Small in size but great in quality & flavor. Their French onion soup looked beautiful and was delicious to me but was quite salty - if you’re sensitive to salt I’d avoid this dish! The perch fish fry is AMAZING! Thinly coated and crispy fish, great flavor in the breading. Love the style of fries they have. Tartar sauce was house made and great compliment to the fish. Soft rye bread and light coleslaw. I finished with their cream brûlée and I was in heaven. This is a common dessert choice for me at American restaurants but Stella’s went above and beyond. They give you SO much of the vanilla bean creamy goodness! 🤤 I am used to a very shallow cream brûlée dish at other places but theirs can easily be shared with two people & not have to worry about small bites. Very accommodating front of house staff. Friendly, quick service for how busy of a night it was. Chill, fun vibe. I liked the music they played throughout the night. Happy, feel-good stuff. Seems like a great place to stop for drinks & apps. I’m sure it’s even more beautiful when you can enjoy patio dining.

I just had one of the best meals of my life. The wagyu steak almost brought me to tears. I could say a lot more but hopefully I got the point across already. Go here, do it.

Google
It has been a few years since we have eaten at Stella’s, with the last time not being too impressed with their dishes, but we decided to try them again. For drinks we all had a whiskey rye old fashioned sweet, which was very good. Love that they muddle them here. Appetizer consisted of the calamari which is lightly breaded and then served with a remoulade. The batter that was used looked like it was going to be flavorful but it was actually quite bland. The remoulade appeared to be made with a ground mustard and came across tart and unfortunately didn’t pair well together. Entrees ordered were the pasta Alfredo with blacken chicken added, cedar plank salmon, a big salad, and then the daily special which was cod oscar. The pasta Alfredo with blacken chicken, it’s sauce was to tight and broken, but flavored well. The chicken was definitely blackened and had good flavor. The cedar plank salmon had an orange sherry reduction and was served with fries (as a request) and lemon Parmesan brussel sprouts. The salmon was cooked perfectly but did not have any seasoning other than the glaze which was good but lacked something. The brussel sprouts were unfortunately were past the point of having a nice char and were more burned. The fries were thin cut potato wedges, which were fried great and lightly seasoned. The salad was just a basic salad consisting of romaine, tomatoes and cucumber accompanied by buttermilk ranch on the side. The cod Oscar was cod that had a hollandaise sauce with lump crab meat on top and was served with rice pilaf and grilled asparagus. Half of the cod was cooked well, the other half was over cooked and dry. The hollandaise sauce was well seasoned. The rice pilaf was under seasoned and very bland. The asparagus was grilled really good. It had a nice char on it and was super tender. Our server was very quick, attentive and was great at their job. Give us a follow @gbdiningdykes on Instagram!

Google
People were friendly, and the atmosphere was good. Food was so so, all noodles not much else in it. When our two different pasta dishes arrived, we asked for some parmesan cheese. Our server brought us a half full shot glass size container of powdered cheese, I would say less than a tablespoon. We also had to ask for salt and pepper to be brought to our table.

Google
The atmosphere is confusing, like trying to mix fine dining and a bar in the same space. The music didn't fit with the decor. The menu reflects this as well. There are simple flat breads but also creme brulee and prime rib. The calamari was AMAZING, perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. Prime rib was excellent, good cut, great flavor, as well as the tallow roasted potatoes. The pasta... I had the Cajun Andouille, and it was far too spicy. They added chili flake on top of an already spicy sausage, and I had to order something else. Also, sorry, but I have to nit pick, I ordered it because I LOVE bucatini pasta, but I was served linguine. The alfredo replacement was ok. Chicken was perfect, but the sauce was overly salty and broken. Dessert... do not get the cheesecake here. It's obviously pre made and frozen. The texture was grainy and hard with an artificial cherry flavor. The creme brulee was enough for 2 people and tasted not homemade and eggy. Our server was fabulous and very attentive. Overall not the worst dining experience, but a lot of room for improvement.

Yelp
Stellas in DePere, WI, is a gem! A bit pricier, but the great food, excellent service, and cozy vibe make it worth it. Quiet dining or a lively bar--perfect for a date or family night. Highly recommend!

Colette F.

Yelp
Someone gave much thought to the decor at Stella's, and it strikes just the right note for a friendly/cozy/warm gathering. We skipped the bar for a patio table in the back because the Wisconsin evening was just right. We were hungry but didn't want to spoil our dinner, so we asked for bread, which was $1 per slice, served with butter. Nice beer selection included some craft beers, so I tried something new. My dinner companion often has difficulty hearing conversation in a restaurant, but there was no problem on the porch. Music was playing softly-- just enough to set the mood-- and the porch is on a side street, so there wasn't much traffic noise. Now for the food: I ordered a small Caesar salad with a piece of salmon. Size of the salad was just right for me and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I wasn't super-impressed with the Caesar part. Companion chose comfort food--a big bowl of pasta with Italian sausage. It was a generous portion. He was kind enough to share and we both declared it delicious. It had these red peppers that were sweet and spicy at the same time; I don't know what they were. The sausage had some kick to it, but just the right amount and the sauce was fabulous. This is the kind of dish you wish you could create re-create at home, but you will never be able to get it just right. Service was very good. I love that the menu offers an option to "buy a drink" for the kitchen stuff. All in all, it was a wonderful evening.

Dona B.

Yelp
Great food and service was terrific. Attention to guests requests was phoenomenal. Will definitely return

Jodi Z.

Yelp
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was friendly and our server was amazing. The alfredo + shrimp was delicious - the sauce was perfect and the wagyu burger with fries was great as well.

Karolina D.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Fairly priced. Drinks are even better. The service is great. Outdoor seating is the best part.

David R.

Yelp
Stella's is a cute place with the option for outdoor seating. A little of everything on the menu, I ordered the Pasta Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was excellent, very tender with great flavor. The pasta was cooked perfectly and Alfredo was good but didn't make me want to take the leftovers home. And they certainly give you enough to take home another meal. I would come here again, some of the appetizers looked good.

Tom M.

Yelp
Overpriced, calamari were all breading- no flavor, oysters were 3.00 a piece, size of a quarter, no saltines, crosstini was deep fried bread- tasteless and impossible to enjoy and had to buy it because no saltines for oysters. After all that and more the bill was 85.00 with tip. First and last visit- embarrassing restaurant

Teresa P.

Yelp
Disappointed. Poor service today and one of the worst cocktails I have had. Odd considering that there seemed to be a multitude of bartenders. Calamari as well as lobster mac and cheese were very good....but that was all. Unaware that there would be a 3% charge to sit in the outdoor patio....ridiculous. We had enjoyed the restaurant when it opened and had a poor experience now 2x.

Kevin L.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Wine was very good. The spinach salad with salmon and strawberry vinaigrette special was just okay. Salad was served in an extremely small bowl for the quantity of ingredient's, making it hard to combine the ingredients which were not distributed thru the salad. Vinaigrette was too thick making it difficult to mix into the salad. Very small portion of salmon which was over cooked. Salad lacked seasoning. Could have benefitted from fresh herbs and salt and pepper. Once seasoned and placed in a larger bowl, it was okay but not worth the price. Have been to Stella's many times. This was the first meal that was disappointing.

Mari C.

Yelp
Our server deserves 5 stars! Our server's personality was outstanding and was a well trained salesperson to upsell the menu. Atmosphere is lovely and comfortable. Now the reason for 4 stars ... we were seated immediately which I always appreciate and handed paper menus. I'm ok with a paper menu, but not one that is stained and crumpled. They were very used! We ordered two appetizers, both which were delicious. The special sandwich and Alfredo were good. I had the mushroom flatbread and was disappointed with the lack of mushrooms. I don't think there was one fully sliced mushroom on the entire flatbread. Maybe one mushroom slice per piece. The prices are steep for the quality and quantity of food.

Tracy N.

Yelp
The ambience of this place is wonderful, it has an upscale feel and is super adorable. The staff was very attentive even while they were busy. The fries that came with my burger were spectacular, they reminded me of the fries that I had when I was in France. If you haven't checked this place out yet I highly suggest that you do.

Anjola L.

Yelp
Strong review here. I was working in Green Bay for the day and decided to drive to De Pere for dinner. Found this spot . I ordered the Waygu tenderloin with Sweet Potatoes and Asparagus. The tenderloin was a little over cooked but was well seasoned and delicious. The star of the dish was really the sweet potatoes. Seasoned with Rosemary, it was absolutely incredible. I sat at the bar and the service was good. Other meals I saw coming out looked good. Overall great spot for dinner in the area

Holly L.

Yelp
Good, service and setting were lovely. I enjoyed the mushroom pasta. Delicious!! Guest enjoyed beet salad.

Ian W.

Yelp
If you're looking for a great dinner spot in the Green Bay Area, look no further than Stella's on Main in De Pere. 10 minutes from Lambeau Field and the food is immaculate every time. I suggest making your way around the menu and trying a little bit of everything. The flatbreads are always a great choice, as well as the truffle fries! This little place has a great vibe, and I always leave satisfied with my choice. p.s. the French onion soup and clam chowder are PHENOMENAL.

CaThy W.

Yelp
Ordered the very expensive filet medium, it was well done. The server didn't seem to care and overall our meals were sort of cold. A big miss tonight. The last time we were here they served the steak completely different, different sides, demi glace. My last filet here was out of this world, tonight's was a different story. Consistency is an issue here. But the meals looked pretty. :/

Yelp
This is the new restaurant that took over at the SALT location I was looking forward to eat hear as I was told it is as good as Carmella's in Appleton The interior is similar but I do like their open space by the bar Come of Wed night as their wines are 50% off a bottle until 7 pm- a good deal The service was very good and the server was attentive The food itself was hit and miss depending on what you ordered The best thing we all ate were the flash fried brussle sprouts The chicken picatta was decent but I can not say I would recommend it The pasta with shrimp was very mediocre as wells as the other dish- which i forgot what it was All in all, I would stick to a few appetizers and have happy hour outdoors I will also stick to Carmella's

Rohit S.

Yelp
We were in Green Bay for the weekend and found this spot which was very nice. Great ambience and food. Good for dates, or a nice evening out. Was happy to find such a nice little spot in De Peere.

Oscar M.

Yelp
Great first experience at Stella's! We dined out on the patio and it was great. The entire restaurant space was large, modern yet inviting and had plenty of seating areas Safety: first & foremost it's was great to see all staff wearing masks & all tables sufficiently spaced. We sat outside and felt very safe dining. Food: started with the bruschetta (pictured) which was excellent. Also overheard the table next to us raving about the brussel sprouts. Husband got the Waygu tenderloin, absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly & melted in your mouth. My spicy italian sausage pasta dish was also excellent! Service was good as well! We'll be back!

Zulu B.

Yelp
Always a favorite of mine!! Good cocktails, superior food! Waygu, filet, seafood, sandwiches, sides, crème brûlée, they do it right!!

Geoff H.

Yelp
First of all I would make this $$$ not $$. It was pretty pricey for Italian. You can easily spend $30-35 per person. My wife and I got the bruschetta, house salad, soup, and chicken Alfredo. Bruschetta came with cheese and was tasty. The salad was.... a salad. For $6 it seemed small. The soup lacked flavor and I would not get that again. The chicken already was very good. That i would get again as it had a lot of flavor. If I went back again I would only get the entrees.

Justin W.

Yelp
PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW FULLY: We had a reservation for this evening, arrived at our table, and sat for over 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged by waitstaff. In the meantime, the bartender (didn't catch her name unfortunately) was amazing in ensuring that waters were personally brought to our tables while she had a bar to take care of as well. After going up and speaking to a hostess after waiting so long, a gentleman who appeared to either be the owner or a manager (I believe his name was Grant - super nice guy) came and spoke to us personally. He apologized for everything, expressed that there were many unusual complications affecting service that night (it was also Mother's Day weekend) and personally saw to it that we were taken care of. From the restaurant, we were offered generous compensation and service. Aside from the initial experience, I really enjoyed my meal. When I offered to tip the gentleman some additional cash for his kindness and professionalism, he humbly expressed he couldn't take it and simply wanted to see us return again. When I mentioned that I would then like to take some cash over to the bartender instead, he seemed very appreciative and said he thought she would really appreciate that. In all honesty, it never bothers me when service is tough, because I understand the stress of the service industry. What stands out to me is how people choose to respond and how they treat their customers. I really appreciate how after realizing the mistake, these employees worked so hard to try and make things right.

Eliza A.

Yelp
This is a cute concept and the outdoor space was nice but the menu is very limited and the prices are high for the portion you get Everyone did say the food tasted good

Rob W.

Yelp
We are so fortunate to have Stella's just a few minutes drive away from home. Food is really good, flatbread pizzas, truffle fries, and now the charcuterie board are our favorites. Cocktails wow, wine great and lovely selection of beers. Love this place and will continue to visit.

trish b.

Yelp
Underwhelming. Sadly. I did go on NYE so I will absolutely give it another go. PS The truffle fries though, yeah, I'd sell my left arm for them. Right handed, need to keep that so I can shovel them in. 4 just for the fries factor...(0 meal/5fries)

John P.

Yelp
I ordered the lemon shrimp scampi. It was well done and the pasta was al dente. My service was fine. My only complaint was there was very little shrimp in a shrimp scampi. I was disappointed with the fact that the menu was very limited. For a place that is Italian, there are very few offerings when it comes to Italian on the culinary chart.

Cindy P.

Yelp
The food was ok. Hubby had the flatbread pizza,I had the salmon. Food is nothing close to italian. Overpriced food. The staff is another story. All wear street clothes. No uniformity. Our server never asked if we wanted drinks. We walked in without a reservation at 5:30. We felt very rushed. I expected more out of a fine dining restaurant.

Jim P.

Yelp
This restaurant is very confusing. Overall we left full but Stella's definitely falls short. Every step of the night seemed like if they would take one more step they would be great. They didn't and were just Meh. We have been meaning to try Stella's. Last night we finally did. Walking into the bar the bartender was so preoccupied with something that she never turned around to see us. One of the waitstaff directed us to the hostess station in the next section where a larger bar was situated. Both bars were empty. The hostess seemed like it was her first day. Gee it was. The guy training her was doing other stuff and even though there was a table it took over 15 minutes to be seated. The host said that they had a lot of reservations for an hour later and they were happy to seat us. Ok sounds like things will get better. Nope. Side note the staff wear street clothes except for the fact that they were dealing with clients, it was difficult to determine who were customers vs. staff. Falling short by a step, they could have required at least name tags or same color street clothes. Ok I get casual but this was too casual for what it seemed like they were trying to be. Yea! We were finally seated. The waiter (Alex) greets us. Ok things are better. Then he says, "I will give you a few minutes to look at the menu and we can dig in". No asking about drinks? Ok yes, we didn't have a chance to look at the drink menu. Looking over the menus, the drink menu and food menu were on nice 8.5" x 14" paper. The drink menu cover both front and back. The food menu was only one side. Ok. Not a problem Smaller menu means they are focused on a few dishes versus trying to be everything to everyone. Looking at the entrees, there were very few that were Italian. Flatbread pizzas and 2 other menu items were kind of Italian. The rest were basic restaurant foods. Guess what? No Alfredo, no spaghetti. Only 2 pasta dishes. Alex returns, "are we ready to dig in"?. In what nicer establishment are you "digging in"???? We order our food and again he didn't ask about drinks. All we have is the water from the host. He quickly left before we could even ask for drinks. My wife flagged down another "server??" to get a drink. She asks for a brandy old fashion sour. No I realized that this is not going to end well when she didn't know what sour was. Face palm moment. Alex then comes over and takes over. Do not order an old fashion here!!!! Not good. Our food comes. My wife has salmon. She is pleased that it is not over seasoned. My margherita flatbread is flavorful. But later on I realized that the balsamic vinegar that was giving the flavor was way too much. (Grabs Tums.) By the way, I never ordered a drink. I was happy with water but he never asked if I even wanted one! So the night finished with us asking for the check. No. He didn't ask if we would like desert or an after dinner drink. But that was ok. We were glad we were leaving. Sorry but we will never go back. Service, nope, everything just fell short. I think that the only reason this place will stay is it is the only nicer place near the college. BTW- if you are visiting the college, do yourself a favor, drive a little bit to get to better places. While it was not terrible, it was not worth the money or time.

Donna P.

Yelp
I normally really enjoy Stellas happy hour followed by dinner it's classy laid-back open air and fun unfortunately they've changed things up and we had a loud DJ playing 70s music at 4:30 in the afternoon people were getting up and moving outside after five minutes in there we talked to the manager and he said that the DJs had a following not a fan not going back when these guys are playing so annoying! So disappointed in a neighborhood favorite

Paul L.

Yelp
Excellent place for New Age/Modern Italian food. We prefer classic old school Italian, like Angelina's. We had about a 30 minute wait for a table at 7:30 on a Friday night so it wasn't too bad. My wife had a cocktail that she said was good. I had ice tea that they brew themselves and it was good. Caprice salad was excellent. The food and service were all where all top notch. We did not care for how close the tables where to each other along the wall but it wasn't as tight as in some bigger cities. It was raining so nobody was sitting outside but they have a beautiful little space out back to take advantage of if conditions are right.

Allison S.

Yelp
By far the best experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Food was delicious, the staff helped one another out to get their guests what they requested in the most efficient way possible, and the owner stopped by our table twice to check in. From greeting us at the door to saying goodbye when we left, the staff proved their attentiveness and care for everyone who walked into the door. Their default water is ice water, but they quickly brought out hot water when I asked (I have Raynaud's, so this is very important to me). Most serving staff at other restaurants surprisingly don't bring out warmer water when I ask for it. This is the only place that hasn't overcooked my burger in a while (medium-rare) and the waygu and fresh veggie toppings absolutely make this the best burger in town. The bruschetta also contained the freshest ingredients I've ever had on a bruschetta. The pickled peppers in the spicy Italian sausage pasta were a wonderful touch and the spiciness level was perfect. The owner Shawn told us all about the restaurant and how he bought the restaurant two years ago (this month) and kept some of the classic pasta dishes but wanted to make the place his own. He kept the same name because his grandma's name is Stella. Loved his story. This is absolutely how to run a business. Typically I see restaurant staff treating me differently because I am/look younger (in a bad way), especially at nicer restaurants, but I've never even treated this well before. Can't wait to go back and try their other food and desserts.

David C.

Yelp
WOW... That's it. Just go there and eat - they are awesome. Shawn and the crew there know how to take care of a guest!

Caroline M.

Yelp
Delicious!!!!! I am counting down the days until I can visit again. Must haves include the truffle fries and brussel sprout appetizers. They really hit the spot and left me and my husband very impressed. I didn't even get to take a picture of the scallop entree because we devoured them so quickly. Great ambiance and very friendly staff.

Cj Y.

Yelp
What a refreshing culinary experience we had tonight. Being from California good non bar food has been hard to find. Food was excellent, service very attentive drinks were not watered down. The bartender is a hoot, give it a shot you wont be disappointed.

Monica G.

Yelp
I would like to update as I've had some great experiences since my review. Great service and some very good dishes. Thank you

Nick B.

Yelp
This is one of the best places we've eaten in the GB area. This was our first time here, but every dish we ordered was awesome. We got the: Lemon truffle shrimp scampi...#great.... fish cakes and burrata bruschetta...#sogood...old fashioned adult slush...#wow...chocolate cookie cheesecake...#unreal... plus the service we received was outstanding. Our dude was fast/friendly/knowledgeable and took time to talk to us for a bit throughout the meal. 5 stars, we will be back!

Rachel E.

Yelp
If I could give this 12 stars I would. I grew up in De Pere but for most of my adult life have lived in Minneapolis/St Paul and this is the restaurant I have been WAITING for in DePere. My husband and I visited for a long weekend and got to sneak out for a date night at Stella's. We found a spot at the bar and started with a lovely old fashioned. Then we got to chatting with the GM who recommended the special of the night, a yellow curry with Grouper. Neither my husband nor I are curry people - but this changed everything. It was hands down one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We also tried the shrimp scampi which was delightful - fresh pasta too!! Incredible service, great food, really reasonable price point.

Lisa M.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place. The portions were nice size and prices were great. The atmosphere and owner, Shawn and staff, Paco were enjoyable.

James W.

Yelp
Stella's has become our go-to dining spot for evenings when we have a baby sitter. The menu changes just enough to always find something new. Every dish we have tried has been excellent. They have a great drink menu and aren't stingy. I just have to comment about the 1 star review complaining that the decor isn't "Italian" enough. I think that's the stupidest thing I have ever read on the internet. I guess I don't rate Italian restaurants based on how closely they resemble the set from Lady and the Tramp. The decor is well executed and modern. We love sitting on the patio when the weather permits. Perhaps scuttle back to Olive Garden if the decor offends you?

Pam P.

Yelp
Second time here and gotta say, both times was really impressed with the meals. I wouldn't say it's really Italian, they have pasta but it's so much more. My favorite was the pancetta and Brussels sprouts flatbread. I don't even like Brussels sprouts but seriously soo good. The atmosphere hasn't changed much since Salt but that's Ok because It was cozy and inviting then. Can't wait until it's warmer and they open up the bar to the outside. Staff is very friendly and the owner came around both times to greet people. Definitely will be going back!

Mark A.

Yelp
Had a fantastic meal at Stellas last evening for dinner. The steak was really out of the ordinary... really very good. Chared on the outside and just warm in the inside. And really good quality. Sausage Rigatoni was delicious. Oysters were also fresh. It was also packed last night. Alive with energy. Great to see a post Covid world emerging healthy. A toast to all those who have been fully vaccinated and are getting back out there.

Alexis B.

Yelp
Finally came in for dinner the other night. What used to be SALT, Stella's has a cute hipster vibe in what used to be a laundry mat. With a great variety of wine, beer, mixed drinks, and (alcoholic) italian ice- they have whatever you're in the mood for! They also have a great variety of Italian dishes on their menu. We had the best bruschetta for an appetizer (Burrata Bruschetta). They had a great variety of pasta dishes. I had the lemon truffle shrimp scampi- which wasn't as spectacular as I was hoping. It could have used a little more flavor. However, I tried my Aunt's fried green tomato pasta- which was amazing! Much like eggplant parmesan, it has a lot of flavor. All in all, I would definitely return. Cute place for a date night! Service was also spectacular- our server was knowledgeable and attentive!

Danielle D.

Yelp
For an Italian restaurant, the selection is not huge like I would have expected, but our party of 7 really enjoyed our food and the service was great. We didn't wait long for our food and the portions are plentiful. The restaurant wasn't that busy on a Tuesday night so we didn't have to wait for a table. Maybe staying true to European dining, they expect you to order wine or something else, because the water glasses were the size of shot glasses. At least they put a large carafe on the table so you can re-fill them yourself. They have a pasta special which I think they said varies every week. Overall a very good experience here.

Dave P.

Yelp
Spectacular people and food A great addition to the area. The staff and the regulars make it a fun place to go to. The oysters are the best I have ever had

Jason B.

Yelp
We have been in a few times now for dinner, and have had everything from a very average to a good experience, but nothing that puts it at the top of the list of places we think about. We have had a variety of their pasta, which has all been good, but their non-pasta items have been a bit if a let down. On our most recent experience, my wife had the linguini with gin sauce which was pretty good, but really pricey with some added shrimp. Good sauce, with perfectly cooked pasta though, which is the heart of the dish. I had the chicken and Italian sausage skillet, which was disappointing. The chicken thigh was overcooked, the potatoes were cold and the sauce tasted watered down and was lacking flavor. The whole dish was lacking flavor, which was strange considering it had hot peppers and olives in it. The meat flat bread was really good to start with, and the aracini was surprising with the smokes cheese. The service is always good, and the decor is great. I personally love eating in the bar area, as it's a really nice atmosphere. It's a fine place to eat at, but not Italian I will go out of my way for, and I think the value to quality is a touch low.

Yelp
Avoid this place!... here is a brief overview of my very first visit to this place.. Thursday 2/15.. about 530 pm.. We walk in and were greated by hostess we opted to sit at the bar and have a drink before placing an order so we could socialize and look look over a menu... the first bartender we had was great.. she told us about the special etc.. but she was called away to take care of a table.. then we were placed in the company my of the most inhospitable bartender ever.. my wife tried to make small talk and was made to feel she was not worth her time... my wife asked for clarification on the menu and again treated like she should have known the answer... we decided this place wasn't for us and cashed out.. as we were leaving we passed the tender that will kill this business only to get a sarcastic "have a nice night" I will never set foot in this place again! And I will always tell this story to all my friends and acquaintances.

Yelp
We came for brunch, which I understand is new. The food and drinks were great but everything took so long that I'm not sure I'll come back.

Yelp
This is the third time I've tried Stella's since they rebranded from S.A.L.T. I have to admit that I really like Stella's a million times more than Salt. It's definitely RICH food - I wouldn't go here if you want to waste your time and money while on a diet. I mean, if you're going to go there, GO THERE. I can't remember all the foods I've had but everything has been delicious. Very Rich. Stella's has become a splurge restaurant for me now (calorie wise). When I want to have a delicious filling meal out with the hubs - this will be one of my choices. Here's my only complaint - the drinks are weak. They were when it was S.A.L.T. and they are now that is Stella's. I would stick to wine and beer if you want a consistent drink expectation. That is the reason for four stars.

Yelp
Booths were so nice. Each booth has a window. Spacious but still had an intimate vibe. Drinks were A1. Food was fresh, well seasoned, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Just overall great experience. Would definitely come back. In fact, I'll probably make this a frequent spot.

Yelp
Tried the hot chicken sandwich for lunch ... it is amazing!!! Very nice interior decor ... pleasant staff and pretty fast service. They even let me try a sample of a new beer they are going to try on tap. Very happy and satisfied!!!
