Stella’s in Gulfport offers a fun brunch vibe with solid classics. My wife loved the avocado toast, creamy avocado on sourdough with your choice of egg (She went over medium), and paired it with a mimosa. I enjoyed the corned beef hash. It was tender and hearty and I paired it with a Bloody Mary. Friendly service, fair prices (food around $12-16ea, total around $60), and a must-try spot. A little wait on the food, but it was very busy. 4.5/5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised With the brunch menu. The food was delicious. The Service was very attentive and the atmosphere relaxing. Would highly recommend for A weekend brunch!

Beth was an amazing and fun server! The food was delicious and the mimosa only had to word "orange juice" whispered at it. 5 stars!

My wife raved about this restaurant so we decided to check it out. There were too many issues with our visit to overlook and it was disappointing. The inside seating was hotter than outside so we chose that option. I had ordered the fried green tomatoes and the pierogis along with water and coffee. Shortly after our drinks, the green tomatoes came out - although crunchy and hot, they were not very flavorful and had a drizzle of chipotle aioli; they were okay but wouldn't recommend them although they were a 'Stella Favorite". Our food came out after about 15 minutes or so and both plates had issues. My wife ordered an Irish omelette and I ordered the Deep South Burger. My wife's omelette was incorrect and they gave her a ham and cheese. Her hasbrowns were undercooked and the English muffin was butterless. My food came out with cold fries. After about 5 minutes without a checkup, I had to physically take our plates inside to let them know of our issues. I had asked the waitress to cancel the pierogis but she said she never even ordered them - although I talked to her about them for a while. They ended up remaking my wife's plate and my fries. I had a very hard time believing they didn't just refry my old fries as they were super crispy brown and not a fresh golden color (and it looked like a fry I but into originally was re-served) so I ended up not eating them after a few bites. My burger was a solid 2 out of 10. They advertise it as a smashburger but it is NOT a smashburger. It had a meatloaf like consistency and not a smashburger. The waitress apologized and said they'd take 15% off - to which at that point didn't care - I was just happy to pay and move on. She took a while and came back and told us they comped our meal and invited us back with 2 free meal tickets. It was a nice gesture and honestly they didn't have to. I topped the waitress $20 and we left. All in all, it was a pretty bad meal and if they had just gave us a 15% discount, I'd have never gone back let alone recommended them. Given the poor execution, I'd have expected at least 1 plate comped. We'll give this place another try but don't know when that will be.

Lovely experience. This is my second year visiting gulfport, and I loved Stella’s then and now. Awesome vibe, amazing staff, STELLAr food. Best breakfast in town.

Google
Downtown Gulfport is one of the best kept secrets in the area. Stella's has great food and atmosphere. Definitely recommend the mahi BLT!

Stopped in today for breakfast while cruising the outdoors Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market. I had the Spanish omelette with hash browns and sourdough bread, my wife had the Beach Blvd burger with potato salad. My eggs, hash browns and toast were all dry and cold as though they were sitting waiting for the hamburger to be finished. I couldn't really taste anything in the omelette because it was overcooked, if not for the salsa it would have been bland. My wife's burger was delicious, with two patties and loaded cheese, it came with potato salad that was great. I finished hers and it was still warm after I ate mine. Seems I always get some leftovers. Maybe a bad day in the kitchen I don't know but don't know if I would be back for breakfast.

Google
What a treat to get to sit outside and enjoy a delicious meal. They have an amazing breakfast - my personal tip - ask for the extra crispy hash browns 🤤 Today for a change, we went for lunch and it was just as good.

Yelp
Stella's has been our go-to breakfast spot in St. Pete for years! Their menu offers something for everyone, from simple egg dishes to more elaborate options, and they serve both breakfast and lunch. We usually order the two-egg breakfast, which comes with your choice of meat, potatoes or tomatoes, and toast. Everything is always cooked to perfection and served quickly, no matter how busy they are. Plus, the prices can't be beat! Stella's is also very dog-friendly, with about 95% of their seating outdoors. In the summer, I recommend wearing light, breathable clothing--it can get hot despite the ample shade and fans. If you're in Gulfport or St. Pete and looking for a new breakfast spot, Stella's is absolutely worth a visit!

Yelp
Quite a neat place plenty of outside seating which works well as long as the weather holds. Never checked if they have actual indoor dining. Staff is friendly and attentive and it has a large menu and large drink (alcohol) availability. Food was served really fast and it was hot and done really well.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch at Stella's while visiting Gulfport, an eclectic little artist town with tons of charm. The place was pretty busy (unsurprising for a weekend), but I was lucky to snag a quick indoor table. Major win, because it was hot AF outside. I went with the Chicken Fried Steak with a side of fruit. The chicken was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and surprisingly moist inside. The fruit salad was a standout: fresh, full of berries and pineapple, none of that filler melon nonsense. Love that. My eggs were a little rubbery, which knocked it down a notch for me, but overall still satisfying. Also tried the Spanish Omelette with chorizo. Solid flavor, and it came with a side of fresh cinnamon raisin bread. The bread had great potential but was served dry with no butter or jelly I would've loved just a little something to bring it to life. Service was top notch. Our waitress was super friendly and genuinely warm, which really made the experience feel personal despite the busy pace. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town, just maybe ask for jelly ahead of time.

Yelp
Absolutely a wonderful treat for a breakfast in the area. The outside seating, service, and menu were absolutely wonderful. The food was very fresh and tasty! Everyone enjoyed their food, and ate everything! Definitely a place to return to on my next trip.

Yelp
Grabbed Stella's last week for a quick lunch and I was super impressed. I absolutely love a good smashburger and Stella's delivered. The bun was soft, the cheese was creamy and the burger patty was just the right amount of salty, peppery and greasy- YUM! Gulfport is one of my favorite places in the Tampa Bay Area, it's relaxing and the vibes are always so positive, and places like Stella reinforce that. Our service was casual, friendly and swift. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Really wonderful experience. Courtney is the best server I've had in a loooong time. She was super polite and offered solutions when I had a hiccup with my order. Good coffee and iced tea. They custom make it to order with liquid cane sugar. My husband had the special which was super tasty he said. It was a mojo pork hash which has tons of flavor without being spicy. Right up his alley! I stole a plantain which was delicious. I started with the bean patty wrap which had too much cumin so they swapped me for a veggie stack which you can get vegan or vegetarian. It was awesome. We will definitely be back when in Gulfport next! Thank you!

Yelp
Stella's was a very cute location and felt like a very traditional Florida waterside restaurant! The theming was fun and the menu was pretty basic, something for anyone in your party to order. I got the avocado toast which was just fine, not the typical avocado toast i'd like but I still enjoyed it. My sister got plain toast and crispy bacon since she's pretty picky and the toast came out somewhat burnt and the bacon was a bit soggy and not crispy. Server never filled our waters and was pretty un-attentive, we were at a two top high table near the door so i'm guessing she just forgot we were there. We got a mimosa flight as well which was standard and pretty good to share for two people. Overall it was an okay experience, I would be inclined to come back and try again since I know so many people love the restaurant, maybe it's more of a lunch spot.

Yelp
Mixed review. Beautiful day, we sat at one of many umbrella tables. Nice live acoustic music. Server brought drinks, spilled on my partner's leg, took our order and we never saw her again. Food delivered to us from kitchen staff. No napkins, drink refills, condiments - never came with the check. Had to walk around to find someone to pay. Here's the thing, though. The Fried Green Tomatoes are amazing perfection. Crispy on the outside, thick green tomato slabs, seasoned & fried beautifully. Smash burger pretty Good too. Skip the chicken tenders. Nice place to sit outside and relax, recommend

Yelp
Positives: Yummy food (pancakes with to die for cinnamon butter, omelettes, hashbrowns with a perfect crisp level), short wait to be seated & can accommodate parties of 6 no problem. Great patio that's dog friendly and open, and a cocktail menu with variety to choose from. Extra Perk: They had a kids menu! Downside: We were missing one part of an order that never got put in by the server, and at the end of the meal the tab given was correct, but I ended up paying for someone else's meal. We had to call the server back to have the transaction voided and then re-pay for the meal. Note: there is only one restroom for patrons so the line is out the door and down the ramp... plan accordingly if you have to use the bathroom!

Yelp
I'm so happy I tried this gem! It's on a little strip that I think must be "downtown" Gulfport. It's next to Stetson law school's campus. There is outdoor seating, bar seating and a few tables inside. I opted for inside. I asked a gal near me if she knew the WiFi password and she said "I should probably know that since I'm the owner." Then she promptly asked a gentleman who know. All of the staff was super friendly. I ordered a "Stella's Favorite" the homemade corned beef hash. It was interestingly made into a latke potato and beef hash kind of thing- unique. I devoured it so I didn't take a picture in time. But I did include a picture from their website I got the cinnamon raisin toast with their homemade cinnamon butter and it was quite enjoyable. I'll be back! I absolutely must try their fried green tomatoes. Highly recommend for brunch or lunch!

Yelp
**** Review 163 **** While waiting for my car to be done at Gulfport Garage, the owner recommended this local gem. He was not wrong! This is actually a pretty large establishment for where it's located. With plenty of outdoor and Indoor seating, you should have a hard time not getting seated fast. Staff is friendly, and service is fast. Even though it wasn't busy when I came, so your experience might differ is this place is rocking. The food was delicious! They're known for their Fried Green Tomatoes, which I can see why! Their description says they're marinated in buttermilk, but I believe they might do something similar to a chicken fried batter. They come served with a chipotle aioli, which I think takes them to the next level. Their Nola Omelette is something I haven't seen before, definitely a must try! It's packed with shrimp and andouille sausage. This comes with 1 side and a choice of toast. I ordered the cheesy grits and sourdough toast. The toast was actually really fresh and delicious. The grits were cheesy, but I do love me some buttery grits, so I added more butter. If you're in Gulfport and looking for a nice local, sit and relax breakfast place, then you need to give this place a try. Prices are comparable to First Watch type of establishments, but you get to support your local businesses. *** Also, this place is pet friendly!***

Yelp
It gives off a whole in the wall bar feel. The food tasted great though. I got the Gulfport Turkey club on sourdough with fries. The fries were so crispy and seasoned well! Service was a little slow but I understand that it was a Saturday afternoon and they had a wait time of 10min when I placed my name. A table opened up much faster than expected. They were packed on a Saturday afternoon.

Yelp
It doesn't shock me one bit that Stella's has so many 5 star reviews, and I'm just here to add to that! The people that work here are so upbeat and kind. They meet you where you're at, and kindly answer any questions you have. My fav is the Breakfast Burrito with chorizo. UNREAL. I also loved their Pineapple Mimosa. I tried one of their alcoholic coffee- When Hell Freezes Over or something like that- and the alcoholic taste was toooo strong for my liking! Otherwise, I've loved everything I've gotten here. 10/10 dine-in and take-out service.
google avatar

Yelp
Well Stellas is well known in the area and it has a fun vibe,. Probably, don't get the quiche.. food quality was okay if you're interested in breakfast after you've been drinking and you need the extra grease this is be place place to go. Service is slow. It has a fun vibe and serves a consistent breakfast.
google avatar

Ali C.

Yelp
They have a great indoor / outdoor location on Gulf Blvd in Gulfport in the middle of the action. Lots of umbrellas and shade. Full bar with zing zang bloody mary's! Everything here is tasty. The fried green tomatoes with chipotle aioli are so good and the sauce is spicy (get on side to control the heat). Decent prices, fun atmosphere and friendly service. Good for groups. Usually a wait on the weekends. Enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a wonderful morning at Stella's! It's so pleasant sitting out on the patio enjoying coffee and breakfast Our server was very friendly and on top of everything. I really appreciated their vegan options and the vegan avocado toast and hash browns were amazing! My husband enjoyed the banana bread French toast too. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back!

Yelp
This review is long overdue. I have been enjoying Stella's for several years and it remains one of my favorite breakfast spots on the "beach side" of the St. Pete area. Plenty of seating inside and out, but this place draws major crowds during high season. Always some really inventive specials and menu items - I had "perogi nachos" on my last visit. Friendly staff, nice gift shop next door with novel items and some local art. Gulfport has a great beach community vibe, and Stella's is at the heart of it.

Yelp
Very filling and hearty meal. The biscuits were soft, the eggs were perfectly poached, and the gravy was savory and rich. The server was very informative and let us know extra information about the new dinner menu and the live music concerts they have in the weekdays. I also got a Hawaiian mimosa which was absolutely delicious .
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Cute spot in Gulfport close to the water. Very chill vibes with a large outside seating area. The food was quick and tasty. And service was friendly and quick.
google avatar

Rebecca S.

Yelp
This is a must every time I'm in town. Such a cute and pleasant atmosphere. Perfect breeze in the shade and very friendly staff. The food options are always on point. The carrot cake pancakes could use more carrot flavoring as it tasted like a regular pancake, but the cream cheese topping was fantastic. It's even better that dogs can join outside. I just love this place.
google avatar

Dogmom W.

Yelp
Food was quite good, portions generous and selections are varied and plentiful. nice service personnel, and love the Jamaican mimosa! My frien said the margarita was also good and she is pretty picky about he 'ritas! Will absilutely return.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Cute spot that always seems busy. We had an ok lunch but server seemed slow and mostly mia. We got their recommendations, and Banana French toast, Ruben (corned beef was a bit chewy), shrimp and grits (bit bland with barely cooked chunks of onion) were decent, but no standouts and none that we'd order again. I also really wish they didn't add starch or use prepackaged hollandaise sauce. It's not needed and also is no longer gluten free. Hollandaise is a simple sauce and should only contain 3 ingredients and seasoning.
google avatar

Whitney W.

Yelp
Stella's can always be counted on for a decent all American breakfast. They offer lunch and dinner too... just haven't been there for anything other than breakfast. There is rarely much of a wait for a table even though they always seem very busy. Indoor and outdoor dining. Spacious Dog friendly patio and even a dog menu, complete with a dog code of conduct. I usually have the eggs florentine which is good. If you are looking for a morning cocktail, don't overlook the prosecco popsicle drink. They literally put a popsicle in a big cup of prosecco and it's quite refreshing on a warm Florida morning. I need two popsicles because I end up eating it before half the prosecco has been drunk. Next door is an adorable sundries shop with unique one of a kind items--check it out after your meal.

Yelp
This place had great reviews so we had to try it for breakfast. Even though it was cool outside, we persevered as I liked being outside. The menu has a bit of everything, so something for everyone. Our server brought our decaf coffee quickly and then I ordered a western omelet with sourdough toast. I didn't like any of the sides, but that was fine as a 3 egg omelet is big. I don't think I have ever seen food come so quickly. In under 5 minutes, someone from the kitchen brought our food. The omelet was huge, and hot. The toast was well buttered, which isn't always the case. We never saw our server as he was busy talking to other servers. Had to flag him down to get more coffee. I had checked in on Yelp and you get free coffee, which I showed to him, but when the check arrived, he hadn't deducted it. Overall, average food and not great service. Maybe I was comparing service to Pia Trattoria where I had eaten the previous night and it was fantastic.

Bella W.

Yelp
The short rib grilled cheese was incredible. The service was very good as well and everyone here was so friendly!
google avatar

Greg E.

Yelp
Atmosphere - Very nice. The restaurant has a nice, eclectic feel. The patio has about a dozen four tops with every table a different style and make. Service - Good, could have been better. Our server started out well, but when a couple (with a 3 year old son) arrived and took the table next to us, we were virtually ignored. Food - Good. I ordered the Banana Bread French Toast with sausage and a two scrambled eggs. The sausage patties were large and tasted very good. Unfortunately, the star of the meal was just OK. The bread was barely grilled and so soggy that I needed a spoon to eat it. The flavor was fine, it just wasn't French Toast. Overall Value - Good. I am going to write this one off as a case where I ordered the wrong thing. The portion size is big and prices reasonable.

Sarah B.

Yelp
WOW SO DOG FRIENDLY!! I LOVE this place even more now!! Great atmosphere, very friendly attentive staff, delicious food. Perfect for a casual day in Gulfport!
google avatar

Brandon D.

Yelp
Came in during the off-season on a Friday morning and there was still a pretty good crowd. That's usually a good sign. Was sat immediately outside (inside was full). There were a few tables of folks outside, all wearing their hoodies. Of note, they had heaters stationed outside, but it was a balmy 62 degrees, so for me, it was comfortable without being sat next to a heater. The wait staff was friendly and on the ball. I opted to try a smattering of breakfast offerings. The biscuits and gravy were surprisingly good. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, and sourdough toast were all fairly standard, but seemed fresh/handmade. And I also tried the strawberry pecan cheesecake French toast...it was heavenly, albeit a bit rich, even for me. Still, it was a show stopper. Overall? Excellent breakfast joint that I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and daughter went here for brunch. We sat outside, as it was a beautiful day. The menu had a lot of different options. I had a hard time choosing what to eat. Ultimately i went with the pierogi nachos. They were delicious. My wife got the veggie stack. She liked hers a lot, as well. If you're in the area, you gotta come and check out Stella's

Laurel B.

Yelp
Food was average Service was "hasty" but they were busy Unfortunately, the mini split ac unit was directly above the counter where our food and drinks were placed. The unit dripped steadily, at first right into a drink which we of course moved. The server placed food there and it got dripped on. Once all food and drink was out of the drip line, we still had to deal with the periodic splash from the drip. Another unfortunate mishap was the number of flies buzzing around the counter, our food and drinks. We constantly had to wave them off. Won't be going back
google avatar

Kenzie W.

Yelp
Terrible food. My eggs Benedict had nothing on it and was covered in a red mayo and nasty hollandaise sauce couldn't even see the egg had so much sauce. The grapefruit juice wasn't fresh and tasted similar to an orange kool aid. Service was the cherry on top with a cranky old women who complained about her life to people at the bar area. She forgot my water and I went and try to pour it myself and she got snappy with me and never came back to check on me. The worst ever.
google avatar

Karen B.

Yelp
Last night we ended up at Stella's for dinner. Super casual outside with nice music playing by a guy on guitar. The service was super friendly. I believe Courtney was our server. Dinner Service is new for them. Lucky for us! My friend and I split the short rib grilled cheese and the mahi sandwich. Sides, chosen were potato wedges, perfectly cooked, and some refreshing coleslaw as well. The short rib, grilled cheese was a stand out. It had Gouda cheese on it and was just amazing at the first bite. Just simply delicious. Definitely going back again for that. This was a Monday night and had a nice little crowd. Look forward to going back.

Yelp
Ran up in here yesterday for a breakfast burrito to go. It was $22. I think that was crazy expensive. It did come with a splash of hashbrowns but yo it was mid. It was made with the salads and sour cream in it. I've been here before cuz I'm local and it's one of those places to take a friend that's in town for breakfast or lunch. I just think they tax tf out of you. But in this places defense it is highly touristic so there you go.

Michael R.

Yelp
Anti poon. No energy, host did have the most, was on her phone whilst I stood and took it upon myself to grab my own menu. Food was bland and was served old sour sweet tea with 5 lbs of sugar in it. It was horrible experience even for dogs, which he took a crap on the patio. I trust my dogs review. Sad. Killed the beach the vibe. Being your seasonings.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
This is THE place to go for breakfast/brunch! They now have a happy hour and are serving dinner. I haven't had dinner there, yet, but I'm sure it's scrumptious. It is mostly outside seating with a few spots indoors. The food is always wonderful with fresh tastes, unique flavors, and filling enough to last for a day on the beach!
google avatar

Kelsey A.

Yelp
Great spot in a cool walkable part of the town. We had breakfast burritos and mimosas and it was delicious. There is outdoor seating which was nice to sit outside with our kids. Visiting from @cattlemanscoffee in Michigan
google avatar

Paula F.

Yelp
Pirogies are OK, would not order again. Nice atmosphere. Service was good. First time here but will try other items
google avatar

Melissa H.

Yelp
Food- delicious and the coffee was wonderful. Service- fantastic and very laid back. No rushing and plenty of check ins to make sure we didn't need anything. Ambiance- neighborhood vibe is awesome. On Tuesday they have vendors lining the street selling wares, food... The outdoor dining was perfect. There were a few dogs that were a bit loud and aggressive to other dogs. No worries for us, but if you have dog fears you might want to eat indoors.
google avatar

Marty B.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and tried the Blackened Mahi BLT on sourdough and it was outstanding. Prompt, friendly service to boot. And I was able to sit at the counter instead of a table and that was nice. Cool little place.
google avatar

Karen W.

Yelp
My ham eggs Benedict was delicious. The home fries were cooked to perfection, and the pancake was yummy, yummy, yummy. The ambience was friendly and attractive. It was worth the drive to eat at Stella's. I would highly recommend!
google avatar

Gab G.

Yelp
Awesome classic breakfast/brunch spot! Came for breakfast on a weekday with three other people and immediately got seated. I started with a cold brew and tried: + Simple egg breakfast with sausage, cheese grits and wheat toast + Strawberry pancake + Banana nut bread French toast The highlights were the pancake and French toast, but everything was super tasty. Great service, too. Like a diner outside!
google avatar

Donna P.

Yelp
I grade on a curve, I don't look for Michelin star quality at local places. Stella's was great. I loved my Mahi Mahi thought the fish was overcooked. Easy to do, I know. The banana walnut French toast was a nice, sweet twist. Bacon done perfectly. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. It was hot outside so she pointed fans at us and there was a dog menu, also! Steps away were a sudries store and then a wine, cheese, etc store. We found things to buy at each. Great location.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped into Stella's for Brunch during our trip to Gulfport, FL. We were seated right away on front patio, and the service was suitable. We ordered many items, and some of the were excellent. The Cord Beef Hash was ok- the two poached eggs that came with it were almost hard boiled, (which was disappointing), and the whole dish seemed to lack basic seasoning. The Bean Cake breakfast was excellent, the flavors were spot on, and the seasonings made the dish shine. The French Toast was good. The Chicken Tender Salad was disappointing- the chicken lacked seasoning, and there wasn't much on the salad. The Lox Avocado Toast with Dill Sauce was huge, and a home-run- and worth coming back for!! The Fried Green Tomatoes were awesome!!
google avatar

Ralph L.

Yelp
Right off the bat, Stella's catches your eye from the street. It was excellent, welcoming curb appeal and decor. Lots of people eating outside add to the atmosphere. Stella's markets itself as the best breakfast period but I got a pretty basic breakfast so I can't comment too much. My eggs and bacon were fine and my pancake was solid. Nothing too crazy. The wait staff was very friendly and that sets it apart for me. Average food but the ambiance and staff will likely keep me coming back.

M M.

Yelp
As always the breakfast was delicious and Amy, our server, was great. It was a busy morning and we were treated very well with great service!
google avatar

Nathalie C.

Yelp
Enjoyed the outdoor casual seating, good turkey club sandwich, very attentive and efficient waitress seated, provided us prompt service; I would love to return to try the fried green tomatoes BLT

Karen S.

Yelp
Our server was wonderful, Cindy! We were there in the middle of a big rain storm and her service was great!!! Food never dissapoints !
google avatar

Yelp
Where do I start? Nestled in the heart of Gulfport, Stella's is the quintessential neighborhood gathering place. The food is legitimate and addicting. The service is amazing in this day and age when so many have lost that focus. Breakfast was so good, I went back for lunch. Don't miss an opportunity to give this place a try.

Yelp
Food: enjoyed egg white omelette, grits toast and eggs, hash browns & perfectly crisp bacon, but our Gulfport French toast unfortunately was not sweet as stated on the menu or too flavorful and served lukewarm. Ambiance: Found in a cute quaint area mix of homes and art businesses. Unfortunately has a small indoor seating area. Setting is set more for outdoor seating. Service was good and not much of a wait time for a Friday morning
