Stella's Monteverde

This is such a relaxing place! Lots of outdoor (covered&uncovered)and indoor seating. Right now, they had non-alcoholic drinks and local beer. My mom got an Americano with cream, and it was very good. She also got the 'Stella chicken soup', also very good but she wished she had gotten the rice instead of crunchy bread (which was still very good) that comes with it. My dad got the bbq sandwich and fries, loved all of it! I got the creamy chicken lasagna and salad, also very good but probably could have split it. What a great stop after spending hours in the Cloud Forest!

Delicious homemade food in a gorgeous atmosphere! We went for lunch after doing the reserve hike and loved every bite! We wanted to go back our last morning but the road was closed and we couldn't get there.

Perfect and serene place for breakfast, especially after birdwatching. Food is super fresh and made with so much care. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I wanted to try many more places, but found myself coming back to Stella‘s again and again. Don’t miss when in Monteverde. I still dream about the granola.

Really good service and breakfast. We had the avocado toast which was quite possibly the best we’ve ever had. Their breakfast bagel with smoked trout was fantastic too, very fresh and filling. Coffee was good to, as my streak of never having a bad cup here in costa rica continues 😎.

This is a super great breakfast or lunch place! The atmosphere is so calm and beautiful. The service is amazing. The menu is really great. The smoked trout is off the hook great. The omelettes the bagels, everything amazing. The coffee is the best.

Beautiful cafe with lots of covered outdoor seating. Great place to sit and relax and enjoy the nature. Walking through the front door you do not expect a beautiful garden landscape in the back. Food and drinks were excellent!

Best avocado toast I've ever had. We stayed 3 nights in Monteverde and came here for breakfast or brunch thrice. Their fruit juices are also great.
