Decent hotel. The rooms were fairly well renovated, but everything else felt a bit outdated. At €170 per night, it felt a little overpriced, but since it’s the only hotel near Stetind, we went for it. The staff didn’t seem very enthusiastic about having guests—personally, I’m used to a smile and a warm welcome 😆. One thing to note: if you order a packed lunch, you need to pay separately (179 NOK / ~€16), even if it’s just two slices of bread. The toppings are limited to basic cheese, ham, and some greens - nothing special. They don’t inform you about this in advance; we assumed it would be included as part of the breakfast, as other hotels like this often provide paper to wrap food from the buffet.

I don't quite understand the critical reviews, our stay at this hotel was great. The front desk was friendly, the room newly renovated and the beds had very good mattresses. In addition, we were also able to charge our e-car at a very good price. Therefore full five stars, we felt very comfortable and can recommend it.

Nice hotel, located a few minutes' drive from the quay in Kjøpsvik. We were recommended this hotel from our guide to climb Stetind the following day. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful manager and got a nice room; not fancy, but clean and good sized. We did not eat there (pizza and hamburgers), but enjoyed a beer in the dining room. The manager provided us with a shoe dryer and put out breakfast early for our hike the next morning.

In the midst of magical Northern Norway, with the best location next to Norway’s fabled national mountain Stetind, Stetind Hotel offers nothing but disappointments. The rooms come out of 50’s motel standards, service is a word never spoken at the hotel, staff is rude, and food is bland. The only thing that surely exceeds expectations is price! The prices at Stetind Hotel exceed those of the best hotel in nearby city of Narvik - where we moved to to get away from this yesteryear, unwelcoming feel of Stetind Hotel. In addition, Kjøpsvik is not worth a visit as nothing ever happened there. So, if you are climbing the magical Stetind mountain and need a hotel: Stay in Narvik and do jot get lured by the Stetind name of this hotel! True thouroughbred disappointment throughout!

Really nice hotel, located in such a beautiful place. Many options for people who like to hike, or just enjoy breathtaking views. Big variety of food options for breakfast, everything really tasty, everything thank to the very carrying owners. I’ll probably come there again in the future :)

My family and I ended up stuck in Kjopsvik because our electric car ran out of battery. We were supposed to get on the ferry but we had to wait for emergency services to come rescue us. My disabled mother, two toddlers and husband needed a place to rest for a few hours. we stopped by the hotel, the clerk/owner was not very welcoming, he also got mad when I asked if we HAD to get two rooms (we were only there for about 3 hours total), he responded with "this is a serious hotel". We had the longest day, we were extremely tired and frustrated, we paid a little over 300 euro for 3 hours. I only give this place 2 stars because the bedrooms were very nice and clean and he actually asked what time we wanted breakfast.

IT'S THE WORST PLACE TO GO EAT OR SLEEP, BECAUSE STUFF DON'T WANT TO SERV YOU AND SAYING YOU CAN'T EAT HERE AND SHOWING YOU THE DOOR!!!! IT'S NOT GOOD PLACE FOR FAMILIES! They are not lisening when you say NO ONION!!! And serving you a pizza with onion. Service is horrible. And when costumers are complaining about the food, the stuff personal don't care! They just says - you ordered that and we cant fixit. Eat what we serve! Or they just saying - get out off the hotel! After 1 month ago we went back to hotel and was thinking to eat something, ower there and try to change a mind about the place. But it was chaos!!! The kitchen boss says that they don't want to service us because the bad review what we were giving last time. They were so negative to use! So we were leaving for all. It's not a good place for eat or having a great time there!!!

The worst place ever!! We made a reservation for tonight 01/11/20 and we clearly told them that we’ll arrived around 11pm. We started calling around 10pm and nobody answered the hotel phone!! Now we’re here outside, calling and knocking the door and nobody opens the door or answer the phone! We’re in the middle of nowhere and far away from home or another hotel place!! What’s wrong with you people!! So irresponsible of you!!
