We had a wonderful dinner here at Steve’s. It was a bit tricky to find so I added photos here as well. View from the deck is amazing you can watch the sun set… music is great… the food was phenomenal and we loved it so much! Everything tasted amazing!!! The staff were so helpful and prompt. It was a full house but they were all so attentive. I would just give a bit of advice to maybe wear socks because you need to go around barefoot and even in the lavs which are not 100% clean you’ll be barefoot as well, so just come prepared. It’s an experience though that comes with travelling so it’s normal to encounter different customs. I would recommend this place to anyone who would love to eat wonderful Thai food with amazing views 😊parking is available at the courtyard

Great place of the beaten track. Came when it was dark (less packed then around sunset) and enjoyed the food, people and quiet place by the river. Warm night but wind easing it bring near the water. Don’t expect culinary art but just excellent Thai food with reasonable price for such a beautiful location.

I come here often—the food is great. However, some dishes have been modified to suit foreign, non-spicy eaters. If you enjoy spicy food, be sure to ask about the level of heat when ordering. We had a bottle of beer for 599 THB, was good.

Parking is available at the temple grounds and then you can walk toward the pier to enter the restaurant. There is a small parking fee as determined by the temple. Parking may be a bit difficult to find if you visit during the holidays. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with a full view of the river and Rama VIII Bridge. The food is delicious.

Thanks to Matte, a dear friend we came a across these resraurants with local great food from diferent areas of Thailanda. This one is simply great! Thank you, Matte! And many thanks to persons that keep alive this place after 11 years! So dear and beautiful presentation with children asking "silly questions" about the place.

This restaurant did not disappoint. We went on a Friday night without a reservation and got seated right away, but probably good to make a reservation just to be safe. It's a popular spot. I got the morning glory stir fried noodles and tofu lemongrass salad. It was amazing, maybe my favorite meal in bkk. Very authentic Thai experience. You have to take your shoes off before entering and it's situated in a unique and beautiful location right on the river. Very romantic. Highly recommend for a one of a kind dining experience in bkk!

The view is great, the staff warm and helpful despite the janky english, the food delicious and comes in large quantities BUT the grilled pork with lemongrass and chili??? Give me seventeen of them right now with a pitcher of beer!! The Dhevet Branch is unintuitive to reach with the winding side roads and and there is the being barefoot aspect in the restaurant— if you are fussy. The only down side imo is their singular playlist on loop!
