Steve's Marina Restaurant

This was our first visit to Steve's Marina Restaurant... The food was good... Jessica was our waitress and did a phenomenal job... she really is on top of things... and was able to make suggestions about what to order... and more... We were pleased... and will visit again when in the area...

Our hotel front desk associate recommended Steve’s Marina. We stopped by earlier today for a late lunch. Super friendly staff and service was really fast. Our food came out hot and flavorful. This is definitely where the locals hang out. We would definitely come back if we are ever back in town. Apologize for forgetting to take photos of our entrees. We were too excited to eat. FYI, tons of parking right on the beach.

Always a must on the coast. Located in long Beach. Great food always. We had the stuffed flounder and fried shrimp with apps seafood nachos and crab artichoke dip. It was such a nice day, we sat on the patio to see the boats coming and dolphin watch. The service is always 100% and super friendly. And of course the atmosphere is great when you have an ocean view.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. There is a nice outdoor seating area with a pretty view. Our waitress, Shana, was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. Check out the online menu for the complete menu. Lunch portions are still huge. Everyone has a different taste for gumbo, but this one was very good. Not too thick and full of shrimp and sausage. Two shots of tabasco made it perfect for me. The fried shrimp and oysters were nicely cooked and the cornmeal dusting made them nice and crispy. The steak fries were delicious. The tartar sauce was good and the cocktail sauce was nice and you could taste the horseradish. The key lime pie was thick like a cheesecake and very creamy. The crust was buttery. Great place. They take reservations for large groups.

Would give 20 stars if I could. Food was awesome and Connor provided awesome service. The onion rings were delicious so was the shrimp crab Al gratin. Yea was sweet and my glass was kept full all of dinner. The Cajun corn soup was spectacular probably best soup I have ever had. Soup and yum yum bread out if the park. Highly recommend this restaurant

Great location in the Long Beach harbor. Towering views of the gulf and Cat Island. Excellent gumbo, po boys and seafood in general. Good chicken for you landlubbers. Service with a smile, good drinks and plenty of food! You will not leave hungry. Po boy bread is light, crisp on the outside, soft in the middle. Fried shrimp are plentiful. The gumbo is a medium roux, flavored well with shrimp and crab. Go here, eat here and return.

Barbara was a sweet hostess who seemed intent on making sure this landlubber’s birthday dinner was great. She gave us a table near the sunset. Our server (forgot her name) was paitient explaining the seafood to us, even having to explain how to eat “crab fingers”. We had the crab fingers, flounder fillet, oysters, and shrimp. Service was attentive. What a nice evening!

We came in early and were seated quickly. We got the soup of the day and gumbo. Both of which were very good. We both got the combo platter with oysters, shrimp and fish. Seafood was fried nicely very crisp. Not as many Oysters as shrimp. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often - brought drink refills before our glasses were empty. When it was time for the check, they brought it quickly without making us wait for it too long. It had been a while since we were in but we’ll definitely be back.

I went there 3 or 4 times this winter and several times over the last 2 winters. The service is good. The food is good and mostly reasonable. This winter I went for 1 meal of Catfish platter, 1 catfish plate and 1 catfish po-boy. All were good. The platter was a lot of food. But I also sometimes go just for the AWESOME DESSERT, 1 or 2 of them: pecan praline warm bread pudding a la mode. BEST $7 I've ever spent. I always ask for waitress Holly if available. Very congenial and good service. Good views of the water at the window tables. Tables outside too.

Great place with good food, great service and awesome views. Adrian was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming for sure.

This is a neat place and the food and the service is all perfect too. The host and the server we had were both wonderful and fun to have. We did order too much food because so many options looked so tempting on the menu and we ended up very full all day. Everything we ate was very good and yummy.

Yelp! I am back at Steve's with my family this time. We are a party of 5 and it is Dee's birthday. Yay! Our waitress is Jessica. You were simply the best. Thanks girl! Now on to this food. We are so hungry we start out with the Yum Yum bread and salads for everyone. Ty got the seafood platter, Mommy got the fish and shrimp, Joube got red beans and rice with the catfish, Dee got grilled shrimp with buttered pasta on the side. I got the catfish plate with rice and gravy and grilled vegetables. Food was okay today. It wasn't as good as I remembered but my family really enjoyed the ambience being outside near the water. Everything was so good until dusk hit. Then flying termites came from EVERYWHERE. This put a damper on everything. STEVE'S!!! Yall need a screen. Everybody was snatching all that they could to get inside building and not be eaten alive. It was crazy how fast things changed and those little pesky monsters zoomed in to eat us a live. I was trying to stand my ground. The rest of my family was inside relocated at the bar. Terrible experience, but you can't wrestle with mother nature. YALL already know, when this food is good, and you're good still good, I'll be back.

Food and service is always great. We have been more than once sometimes just to have a drink and relax.

Fresh seafood well prepared. Service is great and there is a nice view. Always good and plenty of food at a reasonable price.

My wife and I are not from Mississippi, but I love Cajun food! Steve's Marina restaurant will not disappoint. The trout was perfect. I had it blackened just like I like it. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. It's a down home atmosphere with friendly service. We will definitely be back!

The best gumbo I've ever had ANYWHERE. Delicious shrimp po boy & the biggest order of onion rings with fantastic sauce. Great burger for my non seafood eating Husband. We sat outside, gorgeous bay view. My ONLY complaint was it did take awhile to get our food but so worth it when it came.

A great experience. Our server, Katrina did a great job helping find what we ordered. Both of us had blacked shrimp . It was very good. We will definitely come back.

Cranberry Margarita was delicious! Onions rings were so light and flaky, delicious! The Red Fish was Absolutely Amazing!!! I wish I could remember our waitresses name but I'm sorry, I forgot it, anywho, she is the sweetest! Blonde curly hair lady, so sweet!

I've been here twice and it never fails. Half fried shrimp po-boy and a Blue Moon. Great Gulf view. Beer selection could be better, but it is good enough. Heck, I am not complaining. I'm near the water.

Great service from the moment we stepped in the door (with our travel weary disheveled looking selfs) everyone was very friendly and attentive, big thank you to our server Brandon! It's the type of place you can dress up or come after a relaxing day at the beach. Food was amazing! Ordered the Three Tail Special, Shrimp Diane which has a more Italian flavor profile as opposed to the creole/cajun flavoring, Grilled chicken with Angel hair butter noodles for one kiddo, and good ol chicken strips and fries for the other kiddo. Yum yum bread is a must! Comes out warm, soft, and topped with butter and Parmesan. They do have a kids menu, that was my one concern as it wasn't listed anywhere and I have super picky kiddos, but we decided to just wing it. Glad we did!

Great food and atmosphere. The tropical margarita was wonderful. There is dining outdoors with a lovely view of the water. Waitress was great too.

We were a group of seven ladies who just came from the theater and were pretty hungry. It was most of our first trip to Steve's Marina but we will definitely be going back. The menu is extensive enough to please any palate and their seafood gumbo, which is their staple, was delicious. The scenery overlooking the water was amazing, unfortunately we had a light rain so we ate inside, but that took nothing away from the beauty. Our waiter was a delight and catered to our every need. Actually all of their personnel were friendly and helpful. It is well worth the trip.

Clean restaurant and restrooms. Reasonable prices. Usually high quality food and service. Easy parking.

One of our favorite seafood restaurants on the coast. Yum yum bread and catch of the day are always the way to go! Also can't beat the sunset view.

The food was excellent and a great value. Po'Boy's were delicious and made with fresh seafood. I'm not a fan of Oyster po'boys but my wife is. It was amazing! Our server, Adam R, was exceptional and took his time with everyone in his section. Highly recommended.

The food is great anytime I've been here and the wait staff is just above and beyond. But two things you need to improve upon. Not everyone wants fries with their meal. Some can't have the carbs and some can't have the grease. And some simply would like a better tasting choice of side. Try green beans, collard greens, steamed veggies, carrots, broccoli casserole, squash, just a few ideas. Second thing is the exterior seating. The plastic chairs are old and moldy and look like they could ruin a nice pair of slacks. I realize your restaurant is best for casual wear or beach wear, but some folks still dress a little nicer when going to dinner. New chairs or stainless chairs would be so much nicer.

I loved this place! I went on a Friday night and it was packed, but my service was great! I believe my waitress was Jessica? Maybe Jennifer? I forgot! But I got the stuffed crab cakes and it was really good. We sat outside and it felt nice. All the staff was friendly and it felt like home, not like a restaurant.

I never give a 5. But considering our service (great), wait time (none), food (delicious), and drinks (sweet but yummy), I have to give 5 stars. Prices are high but to be expected at a spot on the water like this. Great atmosphere and menu options. Lunch specials were fair, too. Will definitely go back!

Nice place for diner and party, outside also looks good and looks beautiful at night. Fresh food and excellent services. Definitely will come back again.

This place is amazing!!! Such good crab-stuffed fried green tomatoes, corn & crab bisque (it's the occasional soup du jour), and shrimp Diane!! Our server Tony was so sweet and had great recommendations. Love the decor and pier location, I will be coming here every time I visit!

OK - y'all - I'm from Georgia - a true southern girl - and I just had the best fried green tomatoes here at Steve's !!! Bartender (Adam) was friendly - great afternoon at the bar- great views and amazing food !

Our family had a mix of food. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was amazing! My youngest wanted a grilled shrimp salad without spices (since his tastebuds aren't there yet) and the kitchen delivered. The stuffed fried green tomato entree was excellent! Such a unique dish. Our waitress was great! Very attentive and helpful.

You know a place is good when the locals are lining up out the door. I've been here twice and the food and service were always on point. My husband and a couple of my family members ate here a few weeks ago. Our server was ON POINT! I don't think my frank ever got below half before he had it filled again. He was attentive and had great recommendations. We started with the onion rings and stuffed mushrooms. The onion rings were a MASSIVE serving of delicious, fresh onion rings. The stuffed mushrooms were large, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Then we had the gumbo which was a perfect warm, savory dish for a cold night. We had the snapper with freemason sauce and eggplant fries. The fish and sauce complimented each other so well and the fries were crisp and delicious. Rating from a F to A+++ I give it an A+++.

We were in with a moderately sized party. Our waiter was super efficient and pleasant. I ordered a salad with a side of fried chicken breast and a side of buttered Parmesan pasta, as I was not terribly hungry. Even as simple as that was, it was SO good. Others in our party had various fish dishes and were very pleased as well. The interior of the establishment is sort of mediocre so I didn't expect much, although the view is nice. The food was WELL worth a repeat visit though!

We stopped here for lunch on our vacation because we wanted to eat while looking at the ocean. The service was very friendly and fast. My husband was not as thrilled about his choice but he ordered pulled beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, he said it was ordinary (keeping in mind that he had just gotten over a stomach virus) I had the Marina salad and it was delicious! The Marina Salad $7.95 Mixed greens, fresh cucumber, grape tomatoes, pineapple, mandarin orange, grapes, shredded coconut and toasted almonds served with your choice of dressing Totally enjoyed it for lunch and then the rest for dinner

This is a great place with good seafood. I got the eggplant marina, which was excellent! They also have very good gumbo. Definitely worth a try.

Just like I remember it from pre-Katrina days. Got there about an hour before closing on a Thursday and was enthusiastically greeted by the hostess. The server was very friendly and helpful. I started with the fried green tomatoes topped with crab meat and hollandaise - they are amazing. I ordered the blackened stuffed snapper, which was topped with a creamy mushroom sauce. Every bite was a delight. Topped it off with a slick of Key Lime Pie that went so fast I barely got a picture of it. This place is a great memory from many years ago and it didn't disappoint.

My bf and I and another couple ate here tonight for the first time and we will definitely be going back. We sat outside on the deck because a "cool front" came thru after the rain yesterday and it was only in the mid 80's when we met up for dinner and drinks. Our server Tony was the epitome of the perfect person that you want to take care of you while you're enjoying a meal at a restaurant for the first time. Tony's attitude and overall personality is what you wish for the first time you dine at a new restaurant and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Tony, we were the two couples sitting at the corner deck table that ribbed you the whole time we were there and we will definitely be back to see you in the future.

Overpriced and underwhelming, Although fresh seafood the preparation is lacking in flavor and variety. For $30 I received a bowl of what seemed to be boiled or steamed seafood soaked in butter with shredded cheese on top. The yum yum bread, service and view are the good things.

This place is a must try! Make sure to get the yum yum bread! The chandelier sauce is also amazing. And great fried green tomatoes.

On a work trip, I detoured all the way down to the Mississippi Coast just to see the ocean & eat some solid seafood. I found Steve's Marina Restaurant on Yelp & made a reservation for myself & my coworker. Turns out...the detour was worth it! The food was perfect. The service was excellent. The view was spectacular. The prices were completely reasonable. I can't say enough good things about the experience we had here. 10/10 would recommend & 12/10 would detour again just for the experience.

Met family here for dinner before going to see the Harbor Lights. Called ahead to see if there would be much of a wait for a group of 6. We were told they had a table ready but were filling up quick. They were super nice and offered to hold the table for us. We told them it would be about 20-30 minutes until we arrived and they said they would still hold the table. We walked in and the dining area was a little dated but nice and decorated nautical. We all had Parmesan bread for an appetizer and it was addictive, sooo good. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was great. If you are looking for a casual meal, do not overlook this place. You won't be disappointed.

Being from Colorado, we try to eat as much from the local waters as we can. Steve's Marina did not disappoint. Great hospitality. A million dollar view from the deck. The restaurant is raised on pilings with elevator service for those that shy away from the stairs. Food: our 15 YO had a delicious virgin strawberry daiquiri- loved it & she said it was the best shrimp she's ever had; snapper was perfectly prepared and the catfish was some of best we've had. A nice wine selection....the Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio @ $15/glass, the mixed greens salads were fresh and the creole dressing is very good, the gumbo is very good too. Service: some of the best we've had on the Mississippi Coast Ambiance: Casual and confident. Clean and friendly. We'll be back Mr. Steve! We thank you for the fabulous food and family experience.

Always great service, fresh seafood prepared perfectly with a great view. Our go to place for seafood, whether for a celebration or just a delicious lunch or dinner. Have tried numerous different items and all have been delicious!

Steve's Marina is a great place to relax and get a good meal. We usually eat there during the day so we can enjoy the view. The mimosas are a perfect ratio of champagne & oj, and they pair nicely which the tuna dip, which is some of the best on the coast. I always get the beans and rice, but I've never heard anything but positive about any of the food. The salads are delicious as well. You'll be waited on by some of the sweetest and most attentive waitstaff ever. Clean, friendly, good food and reasonable prices, with a great view and a mimosa or two--what more could you ask for?

What a wonderful restaurant. They were not too busy when I went just after the lunch time, early afternoon on a Sunday. I got the red fish special with the squash casserole and the key lime pie. Everything was delightful. Wait staff was very friendly. The view of the gulf was amazing. Entire place was very clean.

Food was fantastic, we sat on the deck outside looking at the ocean. We had the sautéed lump crab and sautéed shrimp and it was cooked perfectly.

I love this place! We eat here every time we come to the coast. Consistently great food every time. Steve should bottle that cat island sauce, he'd make a fortune on that alone.

Food is absolutely OUTSTANDING! Amazing flavors and great portions. But, if you are coming for drinks you will be disappointed. Several of our drinks from the bar tasted like chemicals.
