Stayed here for two nights and was the only foreign tourist amongst the Swedish families and small groups. This also explains why all information was only in Swedish, although the friendly staff spoke English of course. Rooms are basic, but that is as expected from a hostel. Membership, breakfast and sheets come at an extra charge. The breakfast was excellent (fresh baked bread or rolls, cheese, meats, yoghurt, muesli, juice and milk) and so were the dishes served for lunch and dinner. On the Saturday night the chef even prepared a BBQ feest! ||The island is tiny and other than exploring the fort and lazying on the beach, has not a lot to offer. (Water was extremely cold to swim in in July). However a nice place to relax if the weather is nice. Take the ferry from Stockholm and enjoy great views along the way.
