Beautiful location, conditions in hostel are nothing fancy but ok, there is small store inside and sauna, kitchen for guests. Good breakfast.

We stayed there for three nights after hiking Kunglseden. We knew about the inconvenience of toilets and showers in the summer of 2023 and were prepared for it. We also knew about the Climate Summit. Due to a foot injury, going to far, far away toilets was tiresome, although we were glad the sauna was opened and working with limited showers. We also used a self-service kitchen, which was fully equipped. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but this was about the location around the mountains compared to Abisko Fjallstation. But the most important things were provided, and that counts. Our 10-bed dormitory room wasn't full, but a little bit cold at night. But this was our fault as we didn't notice how Swedish windows work! The reception staff was deaf-friendly and easily approached. Considering water issues in this season, the costs of staying were way too overpriced.

Nice clean hikers hostel. Expensive, but it's not like there is a better alternative around. It has a common kitchen, a small shop, and a small restaurant. There is large sauna.

So, this is a youth hostel and yes it isn’t cheap but everything is helicoptered in and you have to remember that. The other option is to camp. The rooms are comfortable and the block we stayed in, Liddo, appeared recently modernised. Shared shower and toilet. You are reliant on the previous occupants having cleaned the room as thoroughly as you would have liked. Mattresses were tired but having walked 19 km in to the camp you don’t care. The facilities in the main building are typically Swedish and excellent in standard. However, nothing will prepare you for the smell of shoes when you walk in the building. It is used heavily not only by those staying but those that pass through or camp. You will smell the campers before you see them. Bar and areas to sit and relax. Shop selling food and souvenirs. Incredible Elsas restaurant both for breakfast and supper. Amazing and unforgettable experience.

Trekking made easier!|We stayed for 4 nights and had all our meals at the station.living conditions are quite good or as you can expect from a hostel. It’s the food that really brings up the ratings. Considering the remote location it is amazing what they produce. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it is all of the highest quality and always served with a smile!

I admire the comfort that this place offers considering it is situated quite remotely in the swedish wilderness. The receptionist Franziska was also a very nice and helpfull member of the stf staff, i can only highly recommend her.
