We stayed there for three nights after hiking Kunglseden. We knew about the inconvenience of toilets and showers in the summer of 2023 and were prepared for it. We also knew about the Climate Summit. Due to a foot injury, going to far, far away toilets was tiresome, although we were glad the sauna was opened and working with limited showers. We also used a self-service kitchen, which was fully equipped. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but this was about the location around the mountains compared to Abisko Fjallstation. But the most important things were provided, and that counts. Our 10-bed dormitory room wasn't full, but a little bit cold at night. But this was our fault as we didn't notice how Swedish windows work! The reception staff was deaf-friendly and easily approached. Considering water issues in this season, the costs of staying were way too overpriced.
