We visited Stockholm on a family holiday. We have one 5-year-old child. We stayed for two nights. We also bought breakfast on the day we arrived early by boat. We left our bags in the hotel’s luggage room for the day.||The room was equivalent to an excellent hostel standard. Everything was clean. The hotel staff welcomed us warmly and also spoke Finnish. There was a café downstairs.||Breakfast had everything we needed. Our child enjoyed it too. The coffee was good! And oat milk was available.||The location was delightful. Before Christmas, Skeppsholmen was full of lights. The views were stunning, with Gamla stan and the Royal Palace across the water. As a lover of culture, I enjoyed being so close to the museums! We couldn’t have wished for more. Thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It was impeccably clean, the room (solo room) was comfortable, spacious, and well appointed - with mirror, sink, chair, bedside table, double bed. The common areas were equally as clean and well appointed, including the kitchen. The staff were lovely and helpful. Finally, it’s managed by the Swedish Tourist Association - it was nice to be staying somewhere that wasn’t part of a big chain, but still well managed.||The location is a bit away from the main touristy areas, however between the 65 bus (bus stop 100m away), or the ferry from the other side of the island, I never found this to be too much of a hassle. Just be aware the bus comes/arrives every 20 minutes so you need to be a bit organised with your time. Besides that, the surroundings are lovely and worth a walk around the island and read up on the history of the immediate area if you have time. It was very quiet day and night.||My only complaint is that I was given a room next to the toilets, and there isn’t much/any soundproofing in the walls. That meant I heard everything (yes… everything!) every time someone used the bathroom… day and night. The walls/photos/mirror would shake every time the door was closed. I resorted to podcasts/music/ear plugs to manage this. An annoyance that definitely interfered with my sleep and enjoyment of the room… but I guess someone has to stay in these rooms.

Stayed at this hostel recently and honestly, the location was perfect. It’s right by the water, only about a 10-minute walk to Gamla Stan, and just a quick bus ride into the city, though you can also walk if you enjoy longer strolls. The staff were super sweet, and everything from the rooms and bathrooms to the common areas was kept really clean. They offer a buffet breakfast, but there are also some cute cafés nearby if you’d rather head out. The closest convenience store is around a 10-minute walk away. A couple of things could be improved. On our floor there were only two bathrooms and toilets for females, plus two common ones, which did get a bit inconvenient at times. The charging points in the room also weren’t very well placed. There were a couple near the bed and a couple by the door, but we could only fit one universal charger at a time, which made it tricky when we had multiple devices to charge. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The location was excellent, the staff were lovely, and with just a few small upgrades, the experience could be even better.

With no prior knowledge of the city we felt very lucky to have chosen this hostel for our weekend trip (for myself, adult daughter and teenaged grand-daughter). Staff were very accommodating and friendly, the accommodation was warm and comfortable (was freezing and white over outside!) and the facilities and amenities were on a par with many hotels I have used over the years! Located in a beautiful and central part of the city everything was within easy walking distance.||||Travel tip - if you fly with Norwegain Air and have a late flight home you can check in your luggage from 7:30am at Central Station then enjoy your last day in the city without needing to retrieve luggage from a left luggage facility before travelling on to the airport using the Arlanda Express train.

What a wonderfull hostel. We stayed in a superior room. It was immaculate. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, the room where you ate it was spotlless. There is a lounge to sit in with a large TV. There is also a cafe downstairs, that sell snacks and drinks. Excellent value for the money.

I loved the location, close enough to the city center but on a small island closed to traffic, with view on a vessel and the old town. Also the place is very clean and calm and the 16 bed dorm is very well kept (no smell no dirt, the room is great).||||Mind that if you’re a solo traveler looking for a party hostel, that’s not it (there are better options downtown).

Fantastic location. Historical too. Spotless, quiet, comfortable, safe. It felt like a hotel. You can store your bag for free if you check-in or out early/late. Very friendly staff. Incredibly well equipped kitchen that even has a coffeemaker and oven. Only negative point was the fridge that had little space because there was no FREE shelf for people to leave unwanted food. And most people did not label food with Check-out date, so fridge was full of mystery items.

Very friendly people and lovely hotel. Me and my husband were travelling in our wedding’s birthday and they let a chocolate for us and booked a good room with nice view. Thank you!
