11 Midcentury-Modern Airbnbs for Design Lovers | Condé Nast Traveler
"Wrapped in original wood paneling and built in 1960 by John Bloodgood Schuster, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, this house emphasizes horizontal lines and offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Manitowoc River. I appreciated the carefully considered design details—the built-in stove and stone fireplace—and agree with a guest who called it “a stunning time capsule. Photos don’t do it justice.”" - Jessica Sulima

"A mile from Lake Michigan, this four-bedroom Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Bernard Schwartz House is an architectural dream in red brick and tidewater cypress with a 63-foot living room, private dock, garden bird feeders, and a time-capsule library—an essential pilgrimage for FLW devotees." - Ashlea Halpern
My Favorite Airbnb: A Frank Lloyd Wright House in Two Rivers, Wisconsin
"Referred to as both “Still Bend” (a nod to the East Twin River in the backyard) and “the Bernard and Fern Schwartz House” (the couple who commissioned the design after spotting a similar one by Wright in a 1938 Life magazine), this 1940 home is decked out. Red brick and red cypress walls create a warm-and-fuzzy feeling, vintage barware is stocked, and the primary bedroom, which is a couple of steps down from the living room, features wood paneling and a pistachio-green shag carpet. The entry’s beautiful bathroom is awash in powder blue, and another one of the baths sports bold burgundy red fixtures."

What a phenomenal house. Another beauty by Wright. The owner also has everything u could possibly want. You never need to leave the house (I mean if you bought food). I definitely recommend this house.

My wife and I felt as if we stepped back in time. Saw this destination on the TV series world’s most amazing vacations. So glad we came. We love history so this gave us a chance to feel as if we were part of history. This home is a must see and a must stay. It left us speechless.

The tour guide was wonderful, but expect to be longer than the tour times. I went there with a friend that was really interested in the house and the Frank Loyd story. I was asked to go because they didn't want to go alone. I am sure they would have given it 5 stars but the tour guide made it a lot more interesting than I expected.

We shared our tour with another couple. It was an incredible experience to have such a private tour. Our guide had time to answer all our questions and lead us to other information that we didn't even know about. We are looking forward to fulfilling a goal of seeing Still Bend during all 4 seasons!

Enjoyed the tour very much. Jenni had a lot of knowledge about the house, it's history and owners. If you are a fan of FLW, this is a must-see tour!

This was one of the best house tours I have ever been on, thanks to our guide, Jenni!
Very informative and respectful access to basically everything inside and out at the house.
Frank Lloyd Wright's ego and personality were huge, but he was so far ahead of his time.
Highly recommend 👌

I have only been in this home as a guest for a few hours but this house has transformed my view of life as it can be. The glow of the fire and the warm ambiance is something that one must experience before leaving this world. The snow outside our windows falls while the love of friends and family warms our souls inside. FLW created this home for nights like these. I hope everyone, everywhere, can enjoy this masterpiece.

We Love Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Toured this home on our way to Door County. Tour guide was great, she explained a lot & shared many stories. Very entertaining. Advance Reservations are required.
