Overall was really good. The beer selection is pretty awesome! Food was good. It is loud and very difficult to communicate, even when trying to order. I had an Italian sandwich that was good but a bit unwieldy to hold. Had to just eat most with a fork. The Bier cheese fries are absolutely YUM, must try.

My 2nd favorite restaurant in Cedarburg. Tried 2 LG plates with a friend, poblano pasta and jasmine rice. Both flavorful and starches spot on. Server very friendly and attentive, brought us extra bowls to facilitate sharing. The bloody mary well garnished, but a pint glass is more standard. Cosy atmosphere.

Highly recommend for out of towners!! Or in towners! I live in Seattle and was in Cedarburg for a couple day and wanted a nice spot I could have a drink, read a book, and relax. This place is amazing! The energy was so welcoming, clean, and bigger I thought. Service was sooo great and friendly. I have allergies and they were so knowledgeable and accommodating! So many things are homemade so it wasn’t an issue. The food and cocktails were delish as well! Definitely coming back when next I’m in town!

We went for lunch on a Wednesday. It wasn't busy, the service was great, and the food was excellent. I had the Stilt burger and my husband had chicken alfredo and we shared the bier cheese, bacon, jalapeno fries. He also had the chicken gnocchi soup which was delicious! Overall it was delicious! Thought about pics after we had already been eating for a bit. Whoops!

Love, love my visit to this quaint restaurant. The vibe was very nice. We sat outside in the shade and the had a nice breeze. Helen was our server and she made some awesome recommendations. She was amazing. The food and the accompanying sauces were amazing. We are visiting from SC and would love to see a place such as this in Columbia!

I ordered the grilled peach salad & added blackened salmon. It was to die for!!! I would eat this year round! My father ate the special of seared scallops with pineapple salsa, creamed sauce & said it was the BEST! Kudos for a great meal experience!

We are regular visitors to Cedarburg and it was our first visit to the Stilt House. Five+ stars, excellent all around. Delicious food prepared to our specifications, yummy wine, and the gingerbread cake was fabulous! Our server was lovely and overall attention to detail was a 10! We will be back again and again! Kudos to the SH team!

A really amazing spot with excellent food and service! My wife and I really loved the atmosphere and could not have been more impressed. When you go, you MUST request Blake!!! She was an AMAZING server and we will request her when we go back! A+!

Wow, this place is SO good. This place was amazing from the jump, as they opened the door for us and greeted us immediately. We got seated right away, and our server Blake was seriously a gem. They found a good one with her! Super attentive, super chatty with my Dad who loves to yap, and never had us sitting waiting for anything. The food and the drinks were just perfect. Perfect Old Fashioned, and an excellent (spicy) Bloody Mary. We got Calamari Fries as an appetizer, which was fresh and delicious. And the main entrees (Blackened Shrimp, and Creamy Poblano Pasta with chicken) were just excellent. No notes, completely melted in your mouth. We already want to go back. The building itself is wonderful, and we loved the details of the place (like the ceiling!) They had a huge outdoor seating area as well, so I'm sure that's amazing in the summer!

Great spot for numerous occasions! We went to meet family for dinner and sat in one of the booths, as well as just eat a quick appetizer + happy hour at the bar. Both were great. The Bloody Mary is good (fun toppings), but you can't go wrong with an old fashioned (preferably sweet) or classic Sauvignon blanc - tons of options!!! The food was decent - I personally didn't love the calamari sticks (I prefer smaller portions), but the ranch fries were a hit!! The grilled wedge was a bit interesting but the bourbon chicken and chiptole ranch salad were hits. The servers are incredibly friendly and the place is super cozy for the holidays. Great place!

We scored seats at the bar on a busy Tuesday evening before Thanksgiving. Excellent array of beers on tap--I really enjoyed the "Beer for a Beer Dinner" double IPA. Food was good: we split the roasted cauliflower and the mushroom flatbread. Service was excellent.

Quick light dinner with my wife at the Stilt House. Our server was fantastic, funny, and friendly. We tried some of the drink specials and they were great. Dinner was hot and tasty. We were seated in a funky booth that was a little tricky to navigate, but comfortable. We would definitely go again!

We're always very happy with our experience at the Stillhouse, regardless of the season and our seating inside or out. The beer and wine selection is pretty solid as is the menu variety. My wife is vegan and luckily, there's a couple things on the menu that can be modified for her to also enjoy a meal, so I wouldn't put them on a vegan must visit list by any means. It's one of the few places you'll go where somebody is always waiting to open the door for you, and you'll often find that once you are seated after a typical wait, the service is satisfactory. I like coming here for a bar lunch or a family dinner, and the ambience allows for all of the above though, I would certainly bill it as family friendly during the not so late hours. Their online ordering has been managed to very well and they were quick to call for a clarification on the most recent order which I was pleased to receive. I wouldn't call myself a regular, but it's certainly a go to spot, and never hesitate to recommend it to people looking for a place to eat while in town.

I want to give a shout out to the staff at Stilt House. My grandmother has a knee injury currently and wanted to bring the whole family together for a nice lunch and called to ask if they could accommodate a large group. They said yes on their second story but there is no elevator. My grandmother decided to give the stairs a try and the staff were there helping her along the way. Along with that they also were just great with waiting on our large group. Everyone ordered many different things and all the food was great. I ordered prosecco and a side salad and both were delicious. Again so thankful that the entire staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Another 5 star review! Came here again with the family to celebrate my birthday! They have a new fall menu which is great. We sat outside again because it's a beautiful patio with a view of the bridge and creek. The service again was great! We just love coming here!

Took the day to meet friends in. Danbury for lunch- and this was the perfect spot. Good food, decent wine. And the outdoor patio is shaded and comfy. Service was great, too.

We visited tonight for dinner. We've always liked this place. It's eclectic. Tonight, we noticed it's just eh. We managed to get a table immediately. They wiped the table down, and I asked one of the young women, (17 or 18), or dry off the table that had just been wiped down. She said: "We don't normally do that...but let me go find something"...and she walked away. Came back, nothing. Ignored us completely. So we dried it off with our napkins. . I wanted to try the walleye. Only thing that comes with it is coleslaw. When did places stop providing an actual meal in the price?? So I ordered a side of mashed potatoes. They were, at best, lukewarm. I just ate them without complaining. Whatever. The overall experience was not the best. Seems like they're going down hill from the last time we were there. They seem to do/be better in the summer. Just wasn't impressed tonight.

30 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon for an outside table... worth the wait! And, they text you when your table is ready so you can shop around town while waiting. Sis and I wanted a cocktail and light bite. I had an amazing Lavender Haze, she had a Mule. We had sweet potato fries and roasted red pepper hummus w cucs and crackers- PERFECT! Our server Stephanie was helpful, professional, and friendly. She made thoughtful suggestions. She's a gem!!

arrived about 5:35 got on a wait list was told a 45 minute, went for a drink down the block minute got text at 6:14 arrived at 6:15 behind 2 other set of people told them we arrived said are table was given away 6:17 got a text said are table was given away in Illinois where I am from we get at least 10-15 to get back we were back within in 5 minutes and they gave the table away so long story short don't believe what they say about waiting heard the food ok but we didn't stay for another 45 minutes...

Always friendly service here! If you're a wine or mug club member, the prices are hard to beat, especially in this part of Ozaukee county. They change their wine list regularly too, which is great, because you can always find something new. We love stopping here for a big glass of wine to start the weekend on Fridays. Food is good, but a bit pricey. I'd get apps and beverages if you're going to eat. You can take advantage of the pretty outdoor space overlooking the river when it's warm out, as they have both outdoor dining tables and an outdoor cocktail area by the sidewalk (great people watching).

Atmosphere: They have host/hostess' open the front door. There is not a waiting area other than the bar. When we came in it was absolutely packed. The tables are very close together and it was very loud in here. The table tops are also quite small (we had 4 on one table). It was definitely a balancing act keeping our waters, drinks, and entrees on the table. Service: Our waitress was really attentive and friendly. Great service from her all around. Food: The food was okay. I ordered a salad and it was very...flavorless. The dressing was bitter and so was the lettuce. The ingredients/toppings for the salad was minimal and it was a hunt to find a bite with something other than just lettuce. The loaded bacon fries were really delicious best part of the meal by far. I would go back just for the fries. The rest of the table though their food was okay and nothing to right home about (one got the quinoa bowl and one got a burger). Nice place to swing by when you're in a pinch and hungry! They also have fantastic beer selection, whatever you could possibly want they will have it!

They probably have the best patio seating in all of the mequon/cedarburg area. I love it in the summer! The restaurant itself isn't that big so the one time I went in the winter it just felt a little cramped. But anyway, in addition to the patio, our waitress was so attentive/enthusiastic/positive & the food is great. Our appetizers were a little out of my usual but they were incredible. The tuna tartare was very much so like a deconstructed sushi roll. The squash medley was actually seasoned so well and had a lot of flavor with the crema they added on top. Around the table everyone loved their meals. The berry salad was so fresh and a great portion. The adult grilled cheese was really hearty with the added chicken (extra charge). The burger was cooked well and the sweet potatoes were so crispy and perfectly salty. Lastly, the garden wrap was crunchy, fresh, and tasty. The only change recommended would be a more savory hummus in that wrap-- it almost tasted sweet (maybe like a red pepper hummus?). Overall can't wait to go back, we left feeling very satisfied!

Burger was nothing to write home about. Staff made no effort to combat their yellow jacket problem outside. One landed in my friend's cocktail, and the waitress clearly noticed but chose to walk away and leave us to deal with it. As we were leaving, I got stung on my arm. I will never come back here. The Bloody Mary was fine.

This place is awesome! We were in cedarburg for the day and we decided to stop in. Was greeted by very friendly staff as soon as we walked in. Small place but has outdoor seating as well. I ordered the fiesta shrimp tacos and wow am i glad i did! I had it with the corn tortillas and it was outstanding. Perfect portions as well which I appreciate. The shrimp was very flavorful, the pineapple salsa was so good, the queso cheese along with the crema.. i was enjoying this so much. I ordered the blueberry cucumber mule. Wow it was super refreshing and delicious. My bf ordered the stilt burger and he said it was one of the best burgers he has had in a while. I took a bite and it was so good! We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries which of course were delicious. They have a great cocktail menu and beer menu. My bf enjoyed his beers very much. I highly recommend this place and i for sure know we will be coming back and soon! P.s. please don't take those tacos off the menu haha

Went to Cedarburg for the day and stopped at stilt house for lunch. To our surprise, it was free beer until the end of the 1st quarter for the packer game! What a nice surprise. We got a burger which was absolutely fantastic, soup, salad, and their cheesy fries. Everything was absolutely great! It was a little pricey as sandwhiches did not come with any side so those were additional cost. It was a very fun atmosphere for the packer game and it had a sports bar vibe but a little bit nicer. The wait staff was extremely nice and our waiter was very patient with us as I could not decide what I wanted overall, great food, great experience, and great people. I will be back!

We came on a Saturday afternoon. Yes they were busy. We were told the wait was 25-30 min, we were ok with that until we noticed other couples walking up and getting seated right away. We ordered drinks and appetizers along with a burger and fries. Drinks and appetizers were good but not enough chips for the dip, a lot of dip got wasted. The burger was ok, bun was too big and too much for the burger, also seemed stale. The service was definitely sub par as no plates for the appetizer, didn't check on how we were doing and took forever to bring us the check. Needless to say we were overall disappointed as this WAS one of our favorite places to eat.

It's a very popular restaurant and tiny little bar restaurant in picturesque Cedarburg so I recommend getting there early or making a reservation because it's small but very busy however they do have an outdoor seating area that's heated. An unbelievably large beer drafts and can assortment to choose with lots of options changes often, the bartenders are very knowledgeable and can recommend many different types. They have a fish fry Friday that seemed very popular, I personally am not into that thing. My friend tried the walleye and wasn't thrilled by that. But when I go to visit annually, I like to stop by here they have some good foods soups appetizers. It's your bar food with a little more variety of flavors.

Good ambiance, friendly service, and nice patio, but not great value. $17 sandwich in my picture and no sides come with it. Sandwich was decent.

We were visiting Cedarburg for the first time and one of the first places we saw was the Stilt house, its right downtown kind of next to the bridge. When we were hungry later, I remembered some online recommendations. It was a beautiful fall day so we sat in the huge lovely back patio. What a beautiful spot for lunch or anything really. We started strong with some awesome stuffed portabella mushroom caps, cheesey, tangy from the balsamic and crunchy panko parm topping, they were just great. We had a hard time deciding so we split a Harvest Apple salad and the amazing sounding Maple Bacon Chicken sandwich. The salad was good, but small, no way large enough for an entree, it was hardly enough to split. But it was good, tangy cherry dressing over kale and apples with candied pecans and goat cheese. The sandwich was outstanding, a nice large chicken breast, well cooked and juicy. With a maple sauce and crispy bacon...nothing not to like there. I didn't notice that it's all ala carte so it was just a sandwich with no sides or anything. For lunch it was fine as we were planning on dinner later. All in all the food was very good, the service was excellent and we will be back next time we visit

Stilt House never disappoints! I have tried a few different menu items, and they are all winners! I love the fact that continuously offer new cocktails and entrees! In the summer, the patio is the spot to sit! It's so relaxing and inviting! On a chillier day- the inside is so cozy! Unless you make reservations, you should expect a little wait, however they will get you in promptly. Such a great experience- my mouth is still watering thinking about the flatbread pizza we had!

We arrived to a new menu and items. The manager was out taking pics of the food to post to their social media I believe. We had two waiters (one in training) and they were so friendly, engaged. Solid service. The outside seating is so peaceful and perfect. We loved it. Two things: When someone orders an old fashion don't just ask sour or sweet, start asking if they want it classic as well. Most places don't know a classic old fashion, especially the servers. Focus a bit more on ratio of things. We got Jamaican jerk chicken bowl which needs more chicken and pineapple to go along with the sauce and rice. By all means though it's an amazing fresh dish. We will be back. Loved it.

We've been coming here for awhile now so high time I write a review. Easily 5 stars just for the wine list and multiple good brews this joint has on tap. Great food and some killer calamari that they hand cut during prep to serve up! Anytime we're up around the Cedarburg area this is our go to for lunch or dinner. Great waitstaff make for a good time and enjoyable experience here so we'll definetly be back. Really can't ask for much more than that!

I was born and raised in Cedarburg and this is my favorite restaurant. Love that there is indoor and outdoor seating, service is always great, and food is delicious - not to mention the selection of beer is fantastic. I always recommend the Stilt House whenever someone asks about food in the burg - yummmm!

I would say Stilt House was pretty good! It's a smaller space, so when we went in with a group of 5 on a week day we were told we could be seated right away in their heated tent. We thought that would be fine and there was one other party seated in the large tent. As we ate, 3-4 other parties stayed for a couple of minutes and left because it was too cold. There were only two heaters in a pretty sizable tent and really only one worked and it was pointed at our feet. I would definitely recommend looking into a few of those standing space heaters if possible- I think it would definitely make it easier to seat more parties in there! The food was good but didn't blow me away. We had a cheese board which was pretty good and the nuts and white cheddar were amazing! The bbq chicken flatbread was pretty good as well and I had a bite of the Mac n cheese with chicken that was not bad either, though it does cost $5.99 to add chicken which is on the higher end. I'd definitely be open to trying again in warmer weather or seated inside!

I have attended meals at this establishment twice in my lifetime. The recent experience I had seemed to be rather disappointing. To begin, there was an inadequate diversity of appetizer options. I would like to say that in my 97 years on this planet, I have never heard of such grotesque provisions such as "Tuna Tar Tar". I was rather discouraged by the unavailability of common appetizers. Following the distribution of the main course, I was displeased and let down by the quality of the burger. It was mediocre at best. However, the fries were quite tasteful. The drink menu was complex, therefore I just ordered a lemonade. The service was decent, however the booths toward the back of the eatery were everything but dispersed. I was honestly disappointed by the decrease in quality of this once fine establishment. The menu has changed significantly in the past few years, as I remember a Mac and cheese dish that was unlike no other. I hope that maybe this establishment will take these thoughts in to consideration and do a better job.

Of the three times I've come here, the menu has somehow gotten worse every time. To start they made the decision to remove both cheese curds and Mac and cheese from the menu. This is Wisconsin! Know your audience. I ended up ordering an "adult grilled cheese" which in reality was an egg sandwich with no egg. The food here is pretentious, and for how long the drink list is, there's not a single bit of bar food. Disappointing.

Apple Pie Old Fashioned. What a tasty concoction! What I originally thought was a floating cookie, was an apple slice with cinnamon/sugar - YUMMMM. As always, the food is A-1. Tried both Street Tacos (shared) - preferred the Shrimp over the Carne Asado - has more flavor. See you again soon!

EASY 5***** restaurant. Came here with my girlfriend for Harvest Fest bc we wanted a place to sit inside for being a warm day. This place did not disappoint whatsoever. Start off with the drink menu. Wow!! Very superb. Heck they had a beer from a small town brewery in CT where I moved from. I think they may actually have too much beer. Only the 2nd place I have ever gotten the Banana Bread beer, which is only brand of its kind. Appetizer got the Mango Jalapeño Poppers. They were amazing. So they were normal jalapeño poppers with jalapeño peppers but rather massive fried Jalapeño Dip with an amazing mango sauce. They were delicious. I actually got the Chipotle Avocado Salad that was like a Southwest Salad (tortilla strips, beans, & corn). One of the best salads I have ever eaten in my life. My girlfriend got the Wild Mushroom Flatbread & even that was amazing. I had one piece & it was great. Maybe not for someone super hungry but it was delicious. The interior is very cool as well.

Excellent experience overall. Great bloody Mary! Then I had the chicken thigh bowl with the Korean spice! Yum and such tender chicken. Also had the stilt burger with portobella. So good. Wish we had room for dessert. Service was excellent and friendly.

Absolutely excellent food, ambience and service! We were thoroughly surprised how efficient the staff was even when they were super busy this Saturday. We ordered two cocktails- Both very delicious and loved the salt and butterfly pea syrup. The food came in shortly after the drinks and it was very good bar food. The flat bread is my favorite. Highly recommend getting patio seating at Stilt House!

Very accommodating and friendly wait staff. Food was delivered to table fast and hot. Very pleased with quality, taste, and portion size. I would go back if I return to Cedarburg.

First off they get a 5 for ambiance. Sit out back under one of the trees and you'll think your eating in a forest. Really stoped in for a beer and some appetizers. The beer list is extensive with both local and imports. Ordered the bruschetta and the giant pretzel. The bruschetta was excellent and the pretzel and dipping sauces were just ok. The mustard was good but nothing special about it and the beer cheese lacked flavor. Still hungry so ordered the sliders and some fry's. The sliders with grilled onions were very flavorful and the fry's which were seasoned had a distinctive flavor as well. The service from our server and the whole staff was excellent. Overall a good experience and we will return.

Stilt House is kind of epic! While exploring Cedarburg, WI, we ducked into Stilt House for a quick drink and bite to eat to hold us over until dinner. The inside was PACKED, so we ended up out back inside a large heated tent, which was a pretty sweet setup! I will say, we stayed bundled up with our jackets on. The tent was so big, that I'm sure it takes a lot of heat to really warm it up, not to mention we were in Wisconsin in the winter, so I get it. I started with some sort of cranberry cider (I believe it was a seasonal special!) and it was freaking spectacular. They have an awesome drink menu to choose from with a variety of beers, cocktails, and wine, so there was really something for everyone. We split a few appetizers including the roasted cauliflower, french fries (they were sold out of the truffle fries or we would have tried those!), and the buffalo chicken sliders. Wow -- the food really blew me away! The cauliflower had some curry spices which added to its incredible flavor. Fries were solid pub-style french fries, but the buffalo chicken sliders were on another level. Shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, blue cheese, and ranch served on mini pretzel buns. I'll take 10. Loved all of it, and honestly wish we stayed for dinner, it was that good! If I'm ever back in Cedarburg, I'll definitely pay Stilt House another visit!
