How to Get the Most Out of a Private Yacht Charter in Croatia, According to a Top Travel Advisor

"Stiniva Cove on the island of Vis is a lesser-known gem in the Adriatic that isn’t easily accessible by land, offering a tranquil escape from the more crowded tourist locations. Once you pass through a narrow opening between rugged limestone cliffs, you’ll be greeted by a stunning, pebbly, golden beach, where you can relax or swim in the cove’s clear turquoise waters." - Emmanuel Burgio

The hike is 20m down 20m up medium-slow tempo. you can make it in sandals easily, if you are not sure then bring sneakers. The beach is very atmospheric bring glasses to look underwater. early morning are the best before it’s too crowded

Stiniva Beach is hands down the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen in my life. Tucked away in a secluded cove with crystal-clear water and beautiful high cliffs surrounding you, it feels like stepping into a hidden paradise. The atmosphere is peaceful and almost surreal, especially in the early morning when the light is soft and the crowds haven’t arrived yet. Getting there requires a bit of a hike, about 20 minutes down and another 20 back up at a medium-slow pace. It’s not too difficult, but definitely not ideal for sandals and flip flops. Do yourself a favor and bring sneakers or proper walking shoes and the sandals/flip flops you can save them in to the bag and then have them on the beach. Once you reach the beach, you’ll want to stay a while. Bring snorkeling glasses, the underwater view is amazing. The water is so clear you can see fish swimming all around, and the calmness of the bay makes it perfect for a relaxing swim. There’s also a small café called Tavern Peruka right near the beach. It’s a great spot to grab a coffee, soda, juice, or even a sandwich. Prices start at around €4 and go up from there. They accept both card and cash, which is super convenient. If you’re visiting Vis, Stiniva is an absolute must. There is no wifi or phone signal. Just go early, bring the right shoes, and take your time soaking it all in you won’t regret it. Enjoy!☺️

A real hidden gem on Vis worth the rocky trek down. We got a moped from the port area and it took us around 30 mins to arrive and then a hike literally down a cliff to get to the beach. Manageable for all ages if you’re comfortable with rocky paths and the 15/20 minute hike is 100% worth it for the beach. There is a bathroom and small food place at the bottom with rentable deck chairs but we just laid out on the pebbles. The cove was a small piece of paradise with clear water perfect for swimming and snorkelling. We even saw a couple rock climbing and people paddle boarding in from boats. A definite must-visit when on the island 💙🦋

It matches the beauty of the photos I saw before coming here. Despite there being many bost tours it didn't feel crowded. Was able to get a few shots and photos without many people in it.

The view is incredible, but the hike up and down the path could be challenging especially towards the bottom where the rocks get bigger and slippery.

Reach it by bike from Komisa and it definitely is worth it. The hiking is not easy, go prepared with close shoes. The beach is gorgeous but can be busy in certain time slots. There are several boats parking and unloading a bunch of people there. Try to get there early in the morning. There is a bar on the beach you don't need to carry food and drink on the trail.

Beautiful beach, can be reached by a boat (you have to swim ashore or take a "self operated" small boat which you pull yourself with a rope to air from the beach). Another way is to hike downhill, which might be a bit hard. If you like such an adventure then it's definitely for you! Note that the cliffs around cast a shade from around 14.00 (see photos) so whether it's a good or a bad thing depends on the season (if you want shade or sun) 🙂 There is a bar with food and drinks. Enjoy!

Stiniva beach is worth the hike down and up. Took 30 minutes to get down and 45 to get back up to the parking area. Do not attempt the walk if you have knee or ankle problems. Requires rock scrambling, climbing with hands etc. You will need reef shoes at the beach. There is a bar and a toilet.
