We stayed here last week during our trip to hike Bluff Knoll at sunrise and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location is absolutely top-notch, right in front of Stirling Range National Park, making it super convenient for early hikes. Customer service was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The toilets and common areas were impressively clean even when we got there late at night. We had a campervan and booked a powered site, which was spacious and gave us plenty of room to breathe and relax. Compared to other sites in the area, this one felt much more generous and inviting. My only small suggestion would be to add a few more cooking utensils in the communal kitchen, as they currently only offer the basics. That said, if you're traveling with a campervan, you’ll likely have everything you need. Don’t be fooled by the photos on their website this place is even better in person. Highly recommend it!

We stayed in a cabin and were very happy with the facilities. A comfortable bed and nice hot shower were welcome after a long drive. We had hoped to arrive while the office was open but that didn't happen. On contacting the office, I was emailed excellent instructions on what to do once there. |The retreat is very close to Bluff Knoll, which was our reason for staying there.

We had a wonderful experience at this camping spot! The location was peaceful, scenic, and just what we were looking for—but what really made it memorable was the kindness of the owner. We ran into a bit of a problem during our stay, and they went out of their way to help us out without hesitation. It’s not every day you find such genuine hospitality. Thanks again for making our trip stress-free and enjoyable

Great Bush camp, well maintained and clean facilities, well stocked camp kitchen, big caravan bays and tent sites. powered and unpowered . $50.00 per couple. Across the road from Bluff Knoll , great for that early morning trek for the sunrise.?

‘Stayed overnight again, before going to see Bluff Knoll. There’s lots of trees and plants to see along the walk trails (with explanations on most plants). My spouse saw a very-cute honey possum.

Wonderful hospitality from the proprietors of Stirling Range Retreat- responsive to our queries before arrival, flexible in response to our changed guest numbers and changed arrival time, friendly and helpful when checking in, and extremely gracious when inconvenienced by my mistake (misplaced cabin key).|Accommodation and facilities were clean, neat and tidy. Cabin bed mattresses were very comfortable, ablution block showers were great and the saltwater pool very refreshing on a hot day.||I recommend BYO camp chairs as comfortable seating options around the grounds are limited. Also limited power outlets in the communal camp kitchen so keep that in mind if you have charging needs.

Hired a 4 person cabin (1 double and 2 bunks), shared with a mate. Basic but adequate room with cooktop, microwave, kettle etc. Large communal camp kitchen with gas bbq. Immaculately clean ablutions with good hot water. It’s not glamping but is well run and maintained and conveniently close to Bluff Knoll if you’re doing the climb.

If there was a 3.5 star rating that's what I would give. It's an older style of campground which we like but feels a bit messy....the drainage when it rains is an issue. Amenities are very good and clean. No wifi or Optus but Telstra OK. The layout is a bit confusing as well, it's like there have been a few attempts at different things over the years and none of them work together. A bit pricey for the condition it's in. Don't arrive before 1pm because the office will be closed.
