Stocked Cafe + Burgers

This place was yummy! I went with some friends and we all wanted a different vibe. Some wanted healthier options and other wanted burger and fries. This place delivered!! Food was super yummy. Salads were very fresh and tasty. We sat outdoors because it was a nice day but inside seating also looked great. Perfect place and a casual lunch in the neighborhood. Only thing is my stomach hurt from the fries after. I think I need to switch out their oil after. But def would go back!!! (Just maybe not order the fries).

One of my favorites in the neighborhood. The burgers and tater tots are delicious, they get a perfect crisp on the taters. The short rib sandwich is also spectacular, flavorful but not too rich because of the kimchi. I’m always coming back here!

Don’t walk…run here now! When I arrived the savory aroma hugged my soul. I came for vegetable soup and they only had carrot coconut and ginger, which usually I’m not into but was open to trying. It was DELICIOUS. Ever since I came here I’ve been wanting to come back. For the soup I only had a small and it was so decadent that it was enough. I also got a Bacon me crazy burger (which the guy said bacon was the smell) and even after sitting in my bag for a while it was still delicious and I ate the whole thing. The person working also left me some baked goods and the chocolate chip banana nut muffin was also delicious. I can’t believe I’ve walked by so many times without coming in. Stopping here truly made my day and I recommend 😋.

The tots are AMAZING!! The burger was really good. They have a gluten free bun option which tasted the same as Bareburger. 100% coming back here. The one thing I’ll say is if you like your burger medium to well done ask for it. The burgers were a little pink, which is how I like them.

The best tater tots ever. The tots plus the stocked sauce is sooo good. I probably order from here at least once a week. I love the roast beef sandwich, the supreme egg sandwich and of course the tots!!!

One of the best breakfast sandwich spots in the neighborhood. They give you two separate fried eggs and a pile of arugula on each half of the sandwich! The French toast muffin was also delicious!

Loved Stocked burgers so much! We had the roast beef, the BEC burger and an order of fries and tots. Everything was superb!!! The service was incredible! Amanda was super friendly and fast and had the best recommendations!!! Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for an egg and cheese with my husband and an oat milk latte. Both were excellent, punctuated by friendly service and a sun-bathed interior. I found myself wishing it were a few blocks closer to where I live; I'd go back often.

This sit in cafe offers quick eats. You place your order at the register and the same guy will bring you your food. I can't say it's flawless, but this was a very tasty veggie burger. Pickles were great too. My step mom ordered the fries which are good but I heard the tots are better. I do feel bad for the one guy running the food and tending to the entire cafe. It is definitely overwhelming, but I would probably come back!

Immediately, when walking in, you feel cozy! If you're a plant lover like me, being in this cafe will bring you joy. Something about plants left and right make you feel euphoria. Haha. I love the way the cafe is set-up from the color scheme to how the tables are. Just gorgeous. The service was quick and the staff are friendly. They checked in with how we were liking our food which is an important part of food service to me. So I appreciated that! My co-worker who was there with me ordered a beef burger while I ordered a turkey burger. She enjoyed her burger. It was cooked to her liking and it was enough to fill her belly. As for me, I enjoyed my turkey burger. The seasonings that they used on it reminded me of Thanksgiving lol. It wasn't the way that I usually season my turkey burger but experiencing the way it was seasoned, made me think of other ways turkey burgers can be seasoned and still be tasty. So love that. The ginger beer that I featured in the photos was really good!!! I've been on the hunt for it in stores. Lol. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!!!! Great place to grab a bite to eat. Especially for lunch.

Now, I understand why this cafe has high ratings. I dropped by here on my way to a Yelp event nearby. When I ordered hot chocolate to stay, the server gave me this gigantic bowl of it. I even asked him "this is a small size?!" He shrugged and said, "I might have made too much." It was delicious; it was worth $3. Moreover, I recommend this cafe for its decor. I honestly think about this place and it makes me miss Brooklyn so bad. I used to go there a couple times a week and buy usually a coffee and maybe some tater tots or fries, and it just felt like home. The staff were always so friendly. One staff member was playing the meat puppets one time and we got into a conversation about it. Just the sweetest people. I was working on a project on my laptop and would be there for like 4 hours at a time. Still working on it... lol. Whenever I come across stuff I wrote there I feel nostalgic for the space. Such an amazing, community-building space. I'm sorry I never said goodbye when I move to LA. Food and beverages were always just the best. Thanks, guys.

We are regular customers here, but no more. Tonight we ordered and they delivered to our old address from several months ago (which is 15 minutes from here). When I called I was told that it was not their problem and to tell Grubhub (our address was updated and we have been getting deliveries to this address). This is clearly an issue between Stocked and Grubhub and not my issue to resolve. When I texted the driver to tell him the new address, he said he left it there. Even though I had spoken to him and said it was the wrong address. When I asked if they could remake the order since it would be late now they said no because they didn't know if what I was saying was accurate. So I canceled the order and will never order again. No empathy for the situation. Just a pretty clear "not our problem."

Stopped here with my parents before a day at the Brooklyn Museum & Botanical Gardens. Absolutely delicious sandwich and even more delicious salad! Really pleasant guy behind the counter. It's a pretty casual spot, but really tasty, flavorful, and fresh food.

So good! Amazing how many in-house-made and high quality ingredients. They obviously care about their food. Inspired recipes are delicious. Still, it's not fancy, just really tasty. Nice, casual atmosphere. Good service. Fair prices, especially considering the quality. Don't overlook the baked goods!

Very cute spot with a wonderful and welcoming team. The food is delicious with generous portions (especially those tater tots!) Their gluten free selection is great, the gf buns for the burgers are sturdy and tasty without crumbling when you eat them. The focaccia is amazing.

I have been to this restaurant in its multiple iterations. In its current iteration of Stocked Cafe, I have gone three times in the past 7 or so months. The staff is friendly, helpful, and genuine. They help you if you want to put tables together or get multiple high chairs. Once, when they realized that they were out of an item that we had ordered, they immediately removed the charge and let us know. They are patient with toddlers, too. The food is always prepared well -- nice combinations of flavors and cooking techniques. It is not fancy, but I have enjoyed many of their dishes--salads, turkey burger, and other items. Their fries are quite good. I especially like their beverage options -- an interesting and appealing selection. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to the table. This place is always there for us when we want to go out for a no-fuss, nutritious meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Came here for a coffee and muffin and some book reading and I absolutely loved it! The muffins are fresh and massive, the coffee is smooth and strong, and there's spacious outdoor and indoor seating area (the outdoor one is covered too). Perfect spot for some solo time or even with friends!

Our second time here yesterday and ordered delicious breakfast sandwiches to go. Above and beyond service. A friendly and yummy spot to check out. Absolutely recommend.

I was impressed by how many things were on the menu from café items to lunch and dinner items. We walked by here because I saw that they had hotdogs on the menu and my husband wanted a burger. He got the hamburger and I got the hotdog with cheese and sauerkraut. I have never been so full from one hot dog. If you're in the area I think this is a great option for food. Not to mention that their plant collection is so beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

I ordered delivery, but they're only 1.5 miles from me, so while food temperature is always a risk I was willing to take that chance and give the benefit of the doubt on that issue. What I didn't expect or excuse was the poor quality and lack of attention paid to the order. Lettuce on the burger was just... sad: limp, textureless, old. The sweet potato slices were wet and slimy, barely touched by the grill. The mayo I ordered, shown on the receipt, not to be found. The ketchup on the burger, also shown on the receipt: nowhere, not even hidden behind the limp lettuce. Oh, and it *was* all cold. Do yourself a service: go with Burger Village or Bareburger.

I ordered the Turkey burger. It was very small and topping sloppy and very little sauce. I was unimpressed. Glad they have gluten free options even though way too pricy. Basically everything is too pricy for quality. The fires were amazing and so was baked gluten free muffin.

Omg - all I can say is they know what they are doing & what they are doing is delish & affordable. Love the casual kind service too.

Tater tots are to die for. Gluten free bread has great flavor and is not crumbly. Food came fast!

I love this place - I don't know if it's new or something but I hope it just stays as wholesome as my visit yesterday. Found this place after another cafe I visited was too packed. I got the BEC burger and truffle tater tots. My company ordered some jalapeno one.. it was also good but it was not spicy (surprisingly). They didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked but it was juicy and more on the medium/medium well side. The bun was amazing and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The plant decor brings a very grounding and refreshing vibe to the space. I look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.

This place is insanely good. We order their burgers about once a month. For sure top 3 burgers I've ever eaten every. Single. Time. Always get the fries and truffle tater tots. Not super crazy about the fries but crazy about the tots. Perfect amount of truffle. We also love this place because we can order plain hotdogs for our kids which they always hit, hell our two year old loves their tater tots too. So good. Obsessed.

Even though I didnt eat my meal until about 45 mins later, it was delicious. The stocked burger was juicy but those tater tots were a hit. I appreciated the hint of garlic. I didnt even need to use ketchup, which I have with everything by the way. The prices are no burger king prices but it was worth it.

Burgers are great. Just don't order on the website app (toasttab) - it adds a $20 delivery fee for a few blocks away.

Was looking for a cozy lunch spot to satiate our hunger and stumbled upon this cute sandwich shop. Here are the highlights: Pros: -The meatball parm sandwich was great. Tomato sauce in it was overpowering, and my hands were drenched in sauce by the time I finished my sandwich, but highly flavorful. The meatballs were soft and perfectly seasoned. -Their homemade Stocked hot sauce. Has a unique flavor to it and complements the sandwiches well. -Fast casual vibe. Cons: -Prices. For a $15 sandwich, albeit very filling, I was surprised to get only a half inch slice pickle as a side. I appreciated the gesture, but the pickle was such a tease that they would have been better off not adding it to the plate. -The housemade roast turkey sandwich. It sounded cool on the paper, and I did like the tomato jam in it, but the turkey was crumbling in my hands at all times. The turkey wasn't in slices but rather in minced form. I finished my sandwich since I paid $15 for it, but didn't enjoy it. -No laptops on tables between 12-2pm on weekends. The stranger next to me had his laptop out at 2:30pm on a Saturday though, so either the rule is loosely enforced or the man waited for 2pm to whip it out.

Omg. In Brooklyn visiting family and my cousin suggested this place as it was a short walk from his house. It's a small but charming place. I ordered the BEC Burger which had bacon, egg and cheese on it with arugula and a garlic aioli. My burger was juicy and the bun was heavenly. I absolutely loved the arugula as it gave a nutty taste that I didn't think would be great on a burger. So glad I was wrong. I also ordered the truffle Parmesan tater tots and they were crispy with just enough truffle and Parmesan (which are both very big flavors) to create such an awesome balance. I actually took another order for my ride back home. My cousin had the Bacon Me Crazy burger and said it was the best bacon he's ever had. He had the tater tots with garlic and parsley and you know Men.....not very demonstrative but he ate every bite and said "excellent". I am already looking forward to my next family lunch in Brooklyn. We are definitely coming back. Highly highly recommended. Try it. You won't be sorry.

I just want to rave AGAIN about their truffle tots. I went my whole life (in my 50s) and never cared for tater tots. I took a chance here last summer and so glad I did. I AM ADDICTED! their truffle tots with Horseradish aioli? is the equivalent of culinary crack! I have also had their tuna muffuletta and their veggie sandwich, both are amazing. I did try their Turkey burger once and wasn't as wowed, I feel it needed a bit more flavor, although it was well put together. but overall, I am never disappointed.

I cannot rave enough about the original crispy chicken sandwich. Hands down my favorite chicken sandwich and I'm so glad they put it back on the menu after taking it off for several years. Rotisserie chicken made into a patty and crisped up to perfection. The aioli and slaw pair perfectly with it and all loaded onto a toasty brioche bun. Great hangover cure! The egg sandwich is also delicious, a little too much butter for me, but you can always ask for less. We did takeout and it was quick and easy.

I was filming in the area and decided to stop at Stocked Cafe for lunch with a few friends. I ordered the Ms. Fungi Fungi burger.. Beef patty with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, gruyere cheese, lettuce and a house-made garlic aioli, served on a grilled brioche bun with a side of tater tots. The burger was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The tater tots wasn't greasy or too crunchy, just right. Now the Arnold Palmer on the other hand, was a NO deal for me. The tea was unsweetened, it over powered the sweetened lemonade, and the flavor was too tart.

Was craving a burger and realized that stocked was a short walk away from me. Ordered the stocked burger as well tater tots. The burger was perfectly cooked, and exactly what I was craving. Tots were nicely seasoned with garlic and Parmesan - didn't even need ketchup (and remained perfectly crispy even after my 10 min walk home). Would definitely recommend!

Me and a few friends stopped by for a bite to eat as we had an event nearby. Stocked Cafe had the cutest decor that made you feel cozy. A few of us ordered milkshakes, burgers, and a chicken sandwich - all of which, were quite good. The cashier was friendly as she greeted us to take our orders and the food came out rather quick.

We just placed an order for the stocked burger, bacon burger, a hotdog, tater tots and fries this past Friday. For pickup. When my husband came home, he realized the fries never made it to the bag. When he called for a refund for the fries, they decided to rectify the problem by going above and beyond. The had someone deliver fries, tater tots and baked good to us! The customer service is exemplary. They clearly care about their customers and making sure they're happy. The burgers were cooked perfectly and were flavorful. The hotdog was surprisingly better than most hotdogs we've had. The tater tots and fries were so good, I kept eating them even when I was full Bottom line- give them a try. You won't be disappointed

My beloved Stocked. I stumbled upon this place while taking a stroll in Prospect Heights. Looking in, you'll see a modest interior with wooden tables and chairs, staffed by unpretentious peeps serving up tasty food- the kind that has all the potential to hold the title of neighborhood favorite by various patrons. I keep coming back to this place... it keeps calling my name: "Cynthia, come in, you know you want some of this. " And I always answer with an order. So what have I tried: Lemonade: perfect balance of tarte and sweet. Get it early before they run out! 5 French toast muffin: It's basically pieces of French toast put together in muffin form. I wasn't a huge fan, but word out on the street is that it is a customer favorite. 3 BEC/ Fried Egg Sandwich: both are AHMAZING. That bread is grilled to perfection, Egg the right amount of runny, cheese is gooey. The bite is crunchy then soft. SATISFYING. If you like bacon get the BEC. If not, no biggie, get fried Egg sandwich! 5 Steel Cut Oatmeal: perfect consistency. Sweetened with brown sugar and has little surprise bites of apricots and apples. Yummy. 5 Sweet Potato toast: I get this when I'm acting health conscious. The textures are all complimentary and the flavors explode in your mouth. The soft sweet of the sweet potato is cut but the soft tart goat cheese with the crisp of quinoa and kale. Once again the egg is the right amount of runny. 5 Roasted Eggplant sandwich: Again with that BREAD. Subtleness of the eggplant flavor is brighten by the whipped feta and capers. It was a little too soggy at times. 3.5 Crispy Tater tots: they are crispy and seasoned with garlic and parsley. Have it anytime. 'Nuff said. 5 I'm coming back for more.

Great spot. I've enjoyed everything I've ever ordered from Stocked. Burgers, sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches (even better now served on a brioche bun) are all some of my faves in the neighborhood. Their truffle fries are the bomb. I like dipping the fries into the horseradish aioli. Deserts are inventive and pleasing.

We had the Stocked Burger and Mushroom Man burgers and they were quite tasty. They won't go on my "Best of..." list any time soon but they were good burgers. Price-wise... I think these are a bit pricey for the neighborhood and the portion size. They're also not winning any prizes for ambiance or service. Just saying...

Soooooo I don't want to like this place b/c it is in the location of my long time favorite Mexican spot Los Muertos...you Washington Ave people know what I'm talking about. But, when you got a craving for a burger and you're with friends that also got the same craving and you remember that a place just opened you just have to go. So walking in is bittersweet b/c they kept the same layout of the former spot, but its brighter...dare I say, a wee (I've been reading books with Scottish characters lately) bit cleaner. Anywho, we all order the stocked burger w/ tater tots and fries. I can honestly say it was very tasty. Made at just the right temperature and what's up with places and their secret sauce... I likey!The tater tots were the winner to me... just the right amount of garlic... sooo yummy. So yeah I like this place... darn it.

Stocked Cafe was the perfect choice for our Saturday afternoon picnic. We ordered a roast turkey sandwich, a roast beef sandwich, a side of homemade pickles, and a side of truffle Parmesan tater tots. Although I was originally craving a turkey sandwich, the standouts of the meal were the roast beef sandwich, the tots, and the pickles. The roast beef sandwich comes with arugula, beets, and a horseradish aioli that kicks this sandwich into overdrive. I was particularly impressed by how well-seasoned this sandwich was, as well as the consistency of the bread. I hope my fellow pickle lovers will enjoy how dynamic these are. There's such a balance of sweetness, salinity, and vegetal freshness. *Pro tip: dip the tater tots in the pickle juice, snag a pickle slice, and put both in your mouth together for a flavor combination that's out of this world!* I can't wait to come back to try the fried chicken sando!

Stocked burger wasn't bad; nothing to write home about but I had a burger and a hotdog. But we're good if on the small side based on the price.

Everything here is quite good, but none of it is mind blowing if that makes sense. Like definitely above average burger, above average fries, and good shake that I've had more than once and will continue to get. But none of the three are that mind blowing OMG THIS IS AN EXHILARATING EXPERIENCE type of thing that leads me to rank a place 5 stars. And I hope that doesn't come off as starting the review on a negative because this place really is good! The bun is great and not one of those that's so big you can't even eat it, the burger is well cooked, the fries are nice and salty, and the shake is a good consistency. They've got other pastries and cookies that are great to go, take covid seriously, and have a very friendly staff. It does take quite a bit sometimes to get your food, but, you can also tell it's super freshly made. It's absolutely a spot you should try in your tour of the neighborhood burgers and shakes, and a place I'll continue to return.

First of all I just wanted to note how I would've been the first review of the year but guy from two hours ago beat me to it. I'm the first five star though. He didn't give five stars because the cafe didn't open around his schedule....I thought we got rid of those people in 2018. It's a cafe, calm down. Also, regardless if it's table service or counter service - you TIP!!! omg. Lord, be with us. Anyways, came in here for the first time and staff is beyond effin dope. Tom and Stephanie need a promotion because they had to deal with people like the guy who wrote the review earlier. I was welcomed with all smiles and straight up dopeness. I will return to try the food . I would've ordered but didn't want to be the asshole who ordered the last ten minutes to closing - like the couple next to me. I will definitely eat next time! I very much enjoyed my my experience at Stocked Burger. I ordered the Bacon Me Crazy burger and it cooked to perfection. The side of tater tots was absolutely delicious - the garlic and parsley was a brilliant touch. I just had to get the vanilla milkshake as well, and it tasted like I was drinking delicious ice cream. I left the establishment very satisfied. The staff is very accommodating, welcoming, and efficient. The space is clean, has a beautiful design, and is set up very efficiently for maximum comfort. I'm definitely coming back to try another burger.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Burgers are on point and we love the stocked sauce I also tried the Impossible burger - as a meat eater it really does taste like a normal burger. Delicious!! Milkshakes are yum!

Best roast beef sandwich in the City! Super thin sliced roast beef in a manageable stack on a ciabatto hero. Nice zing to the horseradish sauce, and the watercress adds to the flavors.

New to neighborhood but I've already been here about 3 times the past couple of weeks. Definitely splurge on the egg sandwich supreme with garlic aoli, arugula, and bacon. My to go burger is Ms Fungi. Iced chai was great and menu of beverages priced fairly for area. Nice outdoor seating, recommend in the morning. Good service every time

The absolute best sandwich option, wish we'd discovered this place years ago! Top picks on the menu (if you're a meat-eater) are the turkey sandwich and the roast beef sandwich. Trust me. The bread is fresh, the fixings are high-quality and delicious. And there's always a nice little twist...a bacon tomato jam on the turkey, beets and horseradish on the roast beef. There are plenty of veg options too. Bonus: there's a small'ish outdoor space, three picnic tables and two regular tables. On a nice day, sit back there if you can.

Ok, we've got to talk about Stocked for a minute, Yelpers. Visited a couple weeks ago on a whim w/ the parental units and ended up having one of the best darn sandwiches I've ever had. For real. Their Housemade Roast Turkey sandwich is legit delish. Thin cut & super juicy turkey with bacon aioli, tomato jam, a little arugula, all on a lightly grilled ciabatta roll - so so so good. I couldn't get enough of this sandwich. Although I need to subtract 1 little star b/c I really wish that for $12 or $13 (!!) my amazing sandwich came w/ a few equally as delicious crunchy chips or a little side salad. Something that would pair well with the sandwiches... * But lets be real - I'll very likely be back for another roast turkey. Plus the place is super cute. They've got a wall of banquet seating with tables of 2 and 4. And then an outdoor patio (for when the weathers nice, of course). The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Overall - Stocked is a really great spot for weekend brunching & lunching. *to be fair - they serve sandwiches with a couple yummy pickle slices.

I had a one star experience, I don't think that stocked Burger's a one star space. The food is really good and it's hard to find good burgers that will deliver to me. The owners cared deeply about my experience, Lesley reached out to me and made herself available should I need her in the future.

Literally the best burger I've had in a while. Ordered it for delivery, it arrived pretty warm. It was so good I actually started the process of ordering another but they were closing and had stopped taking orders. Buy the stocked burger when ever you can, it's absolutely worth it!

It's a really solid burger. Unless you're the type of dude who "feels bad about writing a bad review" but "has to do it" because the burger you ordered and were 20 minutes late to pick up was missing bacon and for some reason you couldn't be normal and eat it anyway like the rest of us because the missing bacon somehow irked you enough that you decided it was worth sabotaging someone's genuine effort to start a small business in order to make a point no one cares about because you have nothing else going on in your life. If you're that type of dude, you might have an issue. If you're a normal human being though, the place is bomb.

I ordered a couple Impossible Burgers from these guys on DoorDash. Instead of receiving two vegan burgers, I received a beef burger. A buddy of mine who's vegan unfortunately broke his diet because these guys apparently don't have the best quality control. This is probably not an issue for the majority of people who order from this joint, but if the Impossible Burger on the menu here is your calling, please double check to make sure you receive what you ordered. I complained about this issue through DoorDash and the response from both DoorDash and the restaurant was unsatisfactory.
