Stockfleths Lille Grensen

Had my first-ever matcha latte today, and it was a surprisingly satisfying experience! The earthy, slightly sweet flavor was smooth and comforting—definitely a great first try. The café itself had such a warm, cozy vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even better. Would definitely come back!

Ordered an iced latte (2 shots espresso) was good nothing special. Atmosphere was nice, chill place to sit for a while. People that worked there were also really friendly. (Also free water with your coffee)

Typical norwegian to give you the choice of how much milk you want in your cortado. It bugs me every time, but I should be use to it. The espresso base was good, on average. Since I heard it was supposed to good, as in one of the best, I was a bit disappointed. The place was great and had a great seat towards the street, so that was really nice. Would I recommend - all in all yes. But not a 'must have'.

Outstanding cafe! Latte, Americano and Hot Chocolate were exceptional. The croissant 🥐, chocolate croissant, chocolate cookie and sugar cookie were all superb. Staff if very friendly and efficient. A must try cafe for dine in or take away.

Tried the cortado and the espresso tonic. We also ordered the cookie which was really good. When ordering the cortado you have to tell them to stop when pouring the milk. Loved the experience.

Efficient and friendly staff. Really good pourover coffee and a good enough scone. Cramped, and few available seats, but not much anyone can do about that. Excellent to-go place, and cosy and atmospheric if you get a seat. 4.5 stars.

I came in for an early morning coffee and something to eat and I was pleasantly surprised with excellent customer service and also excellent oatmeal. I stood in the line and when it was my turn, I ordered a latte with oat milk. It's my usual and it's also very good at Stockfleths. I've been to a couple around the city. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful as I perused the pastry collection. Nothing stood out to me at first so I asked if he had a recommendation. He asked if I felt like oatmeal. I said sure. He showed me the toppings options and asked which one I preferred. The caramel berry topping made the oatmeal very sweet and delightful. This excellent customer service made a real impression on me in an otherwise cold city. That is why I felt compelled to write a positive review.

Every morning, I had either the skolebrød or kanelboller with coffee at many cafés, but Stockfleths was my favorite cafe while in Oslo. They consistently had better pastries and coffee. There are many locations and the two that I frequented, one by the pier and the other by Karl Johans Gate were equally good.

Stockfleths in Lille Grensen was Stockfleths' first modern coffee shop and it's one of the oldest coffee houses in Oslo. The café has tables both indoors and outside, where you can enjoy coffee drinks made by trained baristas, tea, chocolate, sandwiches and cakes. You can also buy coffee or tea to take home, as well as tea and coffee brewing equipment. Stockfleths has been a specialist in coffee and tea since 1985. They started with a shop in Arbeidergata, which in the 1970s moved to their current location in Lille Grensen. In the 1990s it was transformed into a modern coffee shop with trained baristas. Stockfleths' baristas have achieved good results in the World Barista Championships, including a first place from 2004 by Tim Wendelboe. Today there are eight Stockfleths coffee houses in the Oslo area. This is the only location i visited and loved the cafe latte. The shop and bathroom is clean. Love the feel and decor of the place. Staff is super friendly and accomodating.

Excellent coffee shop, central location, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating. You feel welcome here. I had coffee and it tasted better than Americano. They have nice pastries as well. Highly recommended.

Super friendly people (I could enter the coffee place 10' before the opening) with best chai latte in town and great wifi! :) The place is quite small with about 15 places with almost only stools. The small terrace in front allows in warmer days to enjoy being outside.

Great coffee the best we've had in Oslo so far. Get the double shot cappuccino, it is much better than the single shot
