"More Than a Cup o' Joe Stockfleths has roots back to 1895, and is named after Astri Stockfleth who ran the company in Edwardian times. The focus is on good quality coffee and teas, as well as high quality pastries. Their baristas have won national championships in coffeemaking several times, and Norway’s best barista, Tim Wendelboe, has a background from this company (Tim Wendelboe’s coffee shop has a highlight of its own here at Afar.com). If you stop by during the autumn or winter, try their Valrhona hot chocolate. It is divine!"

Friendly and welcoming staff. The hot chocolate was one of the best I've ever had. The traditional cinnamon pastry was also very nice. We went one hour before closing time so pastries were offered at half the price. The vanilla cream and coconut pastry was also nice.

This place is so nice and extremely well priced for Oslo. I had overnight oats and a coffee for only 104NOK. The staff was extremely friendly and made good coffee. I stepped in and just had to stay. The only thing I would say is that the seating is severely limited and what is there is very uncomfortable. Still the atmosphere of the place is so nice you just have to stay!

The best coffee I’ve had in Scandinavia with friendly service too. Food looked great. They have another location in the Nobel Peace Center which didn’t show up on google for some reason - useful if you’re headed somewhere on the ferries.

Slightly cramped area and tables weren't cleared.
Standard priced coffee and good location.

It is quite dirty, so much so that they have an ant infestation.
It was quiet when we were there, which meant that they would have time to clean, but didn't. The table had crumbs and sticky stains. We asked it to be cleaned, but minimal effort was put into it. It actually seemed as if she didn't know how.

One of my favorite coffee places in Oslo. They do an amazing Chai Latte and the coffee selection is on point. Also, they have the best croissants of Oslo! Can't go wrong here...

This is my favourite Stockfleths in Oslo. The baristas are friendly, consistent and fast.
It's a small store so expect a bit of a wait during peak morning hours, but generally it moves pretty quickly. Outside of peak times it offers a cozy place to sit with free wifi. A good spot to stop off and work or grab a pastry while you enjoy a genuinely great cup of coffee.

Yelp
This place makes the best coffee in possibly the world! As an Oslo native I never thought much about the lattes that I bought until I moved away to California - now I am extremely addicted to good coffee and on my recent visit in Oslo I was in the area so I decided to give it a shot. It was so good that I had to stop by once more before I left the country.
The service was great on my first visit and above medium on my last - but the lattes... they were still awesome.

Yelp
Delicious brewed chai latte, decent cinnamon roll, friendly service, but the internet was so bad that I couldn't get any work done.... Would only be back if I don't need to work online.

Yelp
Decent coffee, good pastries. The strawberry cream danish was tasty, as was the dark bread with brunost cheese.
Staff was cordial, but standoffish.
