Definitely one of the most beautiful parts of Sweden. Sailing, fishing, kayaking or just enjoy the wonderful scenery. Also there are no mosquitoes in this part of Sweden which makes your stay so much more enjoyable.

Incredibly beautiful place. (Watch out for ticks, unfortunately there are a lot of them in the archipelago. Information from the healthcare website 1177.se : "Ticks are small insects that bite into the skin and suck blood. Remove any ticks that you find on your skin. Ticks can sometimes spread diseases. If you are bitten, you may need to seek medical care.")

A beautiful archipelago worth touring! Enjoyed this boat trip to the inner Archipelago on New Year's Eve. Surprised to see people eating inside as we hadn't been told you could reserve a table for food. Not to worry we grabbed a few blankets and sat outside and it was a wonderful trip. An excellent tour of Stockholm archipelago. The 2.5 hour tour gives you a glimpse of the beautiful archipelago around Stockholm. The Stockholm archipelago is huge, 30000 islands, but this is an excellent introduction to the beautiful archipelago without taking you a full day or days. The day we went the ship was very full and it was initially hard to get a seat but once they opened up the front after they set off it was enough seats for all of us. We booked with the lunch which was absolutely excellent, really tasty and served in the beautiful dining room of the ship. We went on Östanå ll which is an absolutely beautiful ship. Thoroughly enjoyable day out on the archipelago. When we started from Stockholm in the morning we thought it was going to be a grey, rainy day. But the weather gods were merciful and it turned out to be a sunny day - what a gift. You get to admire the beautiful landscape and the many waterways. The food for lunch and dinner was fantastic, the staff friendly and professional and our bilingual tour guide Frederik was very knowledgable indeed, charming and I loved the fact that he would share his personal experiences from time spent as a child on Sandhamn. The boat Waxholm III was busy but not overcrowded.

Stockholm archipelago is one of the most beautyful places you can visit, take a waxholmsboat or Strömma Kanal-boat out in to the archipelago, thousends of islands and lots of wild life. If you are lucky you will see seals and maybe even eagles but for shure one or another preditorbird. On the boat you can be served varius types of typical swedish food. There are special lunch and dinner cruises to chosre from, a lovely one is from Stockholm to Gustavsberg wich takes a couple of hours, perfect day tour.

Have you been to Stockholm (Sweden) from Helsinki (Finland) via Viking line cruise ship ? If not then must try it once in your life. It just costs € 64 for a couple with an awesome cabin of two beds to enjoy an awesome overnight journey.
