A very rich buffet with excellent quality. You can eat a wide variety of dishes from the buffet and also order freshly prepared hot meals. Ebba, our waiter, was exceptionally professional and welcoming.

We come to this restaurant once every year. This time I had Oysters, softshell crab and venison. They were all delicious. My wife had monk fish and the kids had kötbullar and cheeseburger. They were all happy. It is very expensive though, but I guess this is what you have to pay in central Stockholm in a cosy restaurant. The service was very good too.

We had a business lunch. Reservation was made a week ahead. One of us was vegetarian and we barely found one dish in the menu that was vegetarian and even that we had doubts about as the name of the sauce would suggest that it could be made from fish. There was no separate section called “vegetarian”. Food was tasting fine. At the end we ordered coffee. The waiter came with a bottle of milk not even explaining what kind of milk it was, not giving a chance to ask as the person was in a rush. While pouring the coffee she spilled the coffee to the table and left without cleaning. My colleague was about to touch the spilled coffee with his arm (suit) and I managed to dry the table with the napkin. One of us was lactose intolerant and when we asked for lactose free milk it took eternity to bring it and by the time the milk arrived coffee was finished as we don’t drink it cold. The face expression of the waiter was as if we owned money to her and it was overdue for several years :) feeling uncomfortable every time we needed to talk to her. So I am not considering coming back here. Bye bye.

Outstanding food, large variety of fish dishes, good value for money. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff.

The atmosphere of the place was fancy and lovely. People working there were busy but nice. However, the meal…honestly, the pickled onion (probably) in the bisque soup was disturbing the taste. The mushroom risotto had too strong flavor and hard to finish. Personally, I felt that the overall experience here did not deserve the price.

We had the seafood julbord here. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. However, I was a bit disappointed with the variety of food — the seafood selection was quite limited, and only the lobster was decent. The oysters were very small, and the rest were the usual small crayfish, brown crab, and salmon. As for fruit, there were only a few grapes (even the most basic 200-kronor buffets usually offer four or five kinds of fruit). Overall, I hope the food quality can be improved a bit; if so, I’d be happy to come back next year. But if nothing changes, then probably not.

Fantastic restaurant with great food. You can find traditional Swedish dishes and others on the menu. Herring is a must try accompanied by snaps. I was told by Swedish colleagues dining with us. Atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Before heading to the airport we grabbed a quick lunch at the Stockholm Fisk restaurant inside the Radisson Blu Viking Hotel. It was a quiet Thursday early afternoon. Not many customers at the restaurant at this time so we had the dining area to ourselves. The bartender was pleasant & friendly. The service was good and the food was delicious and very flavorful. We were not disappointed at all. I ordered the mushroom soup, my son ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and my husband ordered the Swedish meatball in cream sauce. All the dishes had wonderful flavors. I love mushrooms so the soup was such a delight on a cold day. Just the perfect comfort food along with the cheese sandwich. Sweden is known for their meatballs and it was a fan favorite in my family.

Yelp
Second choice but ended up having a great time! Our first restaurant to try in Sweden!Original pick was closed so we strolled around and chose this place. Receptionist was welcoming and got us a good table. Service was prompt and our server although wasn't chatty enough gave us good food recommendations. Only concern was a tad salty for my liking so if you're watching your sodium intake then you must mention to turn it down two notches.

Yelp
Came here with family during lunchtime. We were promptly seated by Alexander, who was wonderful throughout our time there. The meal started off with assorted breads and butter. The bread was a little cold, but still very tasty with the butter. We had gotten the fried cod, fish and chips, salmon, and smoked char with octopus (depicted below.) All the fish was delicious- it was all very fresh and cooked to perfection. Whether baked, fries, or charred, you could taste the quality in the fish. The sides were OK.. as a whole we had mashed potatoes, mashed peas, French fries, lingonberry, and steamed veggies. If you're not too keen on Swedish food, then you will definitely love the French fries- they put an interesting twist with herbs and spices which made them have a flavor much different (and better in my opinion) than traditional fries. The mashed peas and mashed potatoes were a little cold and really took away from the fish- in the future I would probably sub out those with the veggies. We finished the meal with pancakes from the kids menu. We were all craving Swedish pancakes and it was absolutely worth it- they were fresh, and paired with butter and an apple sauce. If you're looking for authentic pancakes, make sure to ask for it from the kids menu. In all, I would recommend Fisk if you're looking for an authentic Swedish meal. If you're not too keen on Swedish food/fish, there are other options available.

Yelp
Our food was excellent, had the oysters, meatballs, and fish soup. The waiter was extraordinary and the food matched the service. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for a dinner in Stockholm.

Yelp
Our last night in Stockholm, actually of our entire Nordic vacation, called for a dining experience with a bit more elegance than the Whoppers at the numerous Burger Kings surrounding our hotel near the Central Station. Jamie W. and I noticed this upscale-looking restaurant a block away inside the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel and asked if a table for two was available that evening. After the host gave the perfunctory scanning of the space and heaved an audible sigh, he provided us one of the more crowded sections of the compact dining room. The menu is primarily dominated by seafood selections with some meat and vegetarian options thrown in for good measure. I was tempted to order the Swedish meatballs because I had not tried any since a long-ago trip to IKEA back home in Emeryville, but it seemed silly not to order any of the seafood the server meticulously described to us in impeccable English. I first tried the 135 KR Starter Fish & Shellfish Chowder (Halv Fisk Skalldjursgryta) which was velvety and abundant with chunks of fresh fish (photo: http://bit.ly/1NEjab4). It came with huge slabs of Garlic Bread and a major dollop of Rouille (photo: http://bit.ly/1VeDr8G). Meanwhile, we were both partaking of the bread basket which contained at least three different kinds of artisan creations with plenty of butter for liberal slathering (photo: http://bit.ly/1RgscWg). The place was crowding up quickly as our entrees arrived. Jamie had the 345 KR Poached Halibut with Asparagus Tureen, Brown Butter Hollandaise and King Crab Croquettes (Pocherad Halleflundra) (photo: http://bit.ly/1TmJjgH). It was a lovely piece of fish and the croquettes were lightly crisped to match the delicacy of the dish. I ordered the 298 KR Fish of the Day (Dagens Fisk), which was a Black Cod, accompanied by Fresh Prawns and a strange side salad of egg and shaved horseradish (photo: http://bit.ly/1U6vgpG). The weird soapy taste was the only significant sour note of our culinary experience here. An unexpected side of Boiled & Grilled Potatoes compensated with a welcome buttery flavor and a hint of dill (photo: http://bit.ly/1RgrXKW). All in all, it was a fitting send-off for our homeward journey. FOOD - 4 stars...fresh seafood presented in light, delicate ways that evoke Sweden AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...dimly lit with the blond wood decor decidedly Scandinavian SERVICE - 4 stars...quite helpful and efficient TOTAL - 4 stars...Sweden about its seafood and this place is a good place to take advantage of the innate connection

Yelp
We were in desperate desire for a fish platter and this was a great place to go to. The music was incredible. Old ball room jazz, very sweet waiters and a good wine selection. The food was good. The oysters were fresh and super tasty, the smoked shrimps had a perfect taste making our meal delightful. We were 3 and we had a platter for 2 (we almost couldn't finish it!) so be weary of this super recommended place!

Yelp
This is a sea food restaurant and therefore you should go for the fish and other goods from the ocean and leave the streak for another day/restaurant. The service is excellent and the staff is helpful. I can really recommend the shrimp sandwich , it's delicious and they don't hold back on the amount of shrimp. The fish stew is also excellent. I've visited sthlm Fisk numerous of times and never been disappointed. Thumbs up for this place!

Yelp
Good food. Good service and ideally located. My friend and I stopped by last evening and happily sampled local Swedish cuisines like cured salmon (super fresh!) and the lobster/fish casserole (more like a creamy soup with a good chunk of seafood). Their bread is also wonderful and comes out with this heavenly butter. Again, service was amazing and so was the food and pricing. Came out to about $70 USD for two people including tax and tip.

Yelp
Good food, service, location, and atmosphere. Prices are not cheap, but reasonable. For starters we had the fish and shellfish chowder which came with garlic bread and was fantastic. For mains we had the Swedish meatballs with cream sauce, potato puree, lingon berries & pickled cucumber, which was just ok, and the Butter fried fillet of pike-perch with red wine sauce, which was very good. Overall I would recommend this place.

Yelp
This was our third year in a row to have our Christmas buffet at this venue. It was was not of the same standard as earlier years. The sill, Janson's temptation, Sashimi and some more were bad. The bleak roe, lobster, shrimpd and King Crab were OK. We will not home back next year. The pricing is very high for this standard.

Yelp
Most restaurants in Stockholm are closed on Sunday, so this seemed to be among the better well-rated places that were available. Looks nice and the waitstaff are friendly and accommodating. Food was fine. But didn't seem terribly special. I guess the cooking style is "simple" which is fine, but seemed overpriced for what you got. Even a glass of good (but not great) wine was over $20 (USD equivalent). Everything tasted fresh and well cooked but the meal was completely forgettable and non descript. I just finished it less than an hour ago and I've almost already forgotten it.

Yelp
We too wanted to celebrate our last night in Stockholm by eating at Stockholm Fisk. We had had dinner at this restaurant the previous evening and found it good. So we decided to celebrate tonight with the supposedly huge dinner for two. The previous evening I had asked the waitress if we could reserve one of the window tables. She said that it was not possible; the tables wee awarded when you arrived. So we arrived early and asked Daniel, the maitre'd, if we could have a window seat. He said "No" it was reserved for people of four. Daniel had a bit of a 'haughty air' about him. I asked again later about the table and he said, "No, a group has already reserved it." Hmmm, either Daniel or the other woman were not telling the truth. I even mentioned that we are staying at the attached hotel--the Radisson Blu. Daniel informed me that the restaurant had no connection to the hotel. So we sat at a miserable table for two and watched as window seats for four remained available. A couple eventually came, took our requested table, had a light salad, and left. All in all, they stayed about 20 minutes. Meanwhile we're eating the supposed house special. Let's talk about that--it was a rip off. For almost 1,000 Krona we received King Crab that looked adolescent, a lobster that was at best shriveled, and a ton of prawns none of which were as large as my thumb nail. The six raw oysters were good--at least for now. Final bill with a glass of house wine and one sorbet--almost 1,200 Krona. Now we have to walk to Burger King to fill up. All in all, we feel ripped. Perhaps a window seat would have made it more worthwhile. But I don't think so. Ooops, One more thing. I charged the meal to our hotel room. Seems as if there is some connection. Ooops, oops, one more thing. Our waiter, Tommi, was excellent. His service was prompt, he delivered everything with a smile, and he seemed to genuinely care about our meal experience. Tommi deserves a promotion--perhaps to Maitre'd.

Yelp
We just came out of that place. The service was horrible and the waitress was rude. The funny thing was she has the guts to ask for tip! Won't go back again and won't recommend others to go there as well. Gave it a one star because the food was okay, but the overall experience was awful.

Yelp
Trevligt ställe, men maten håller långt ifrån den kvalitet som en bra fisk restaurant skall hålla. Och detta skrivs inte efter ett besök utan flera.

Yelp
Substandard food. Worst service I ve experience in stockholm in my 3 months here.l and that is saying alot as the service I ve found in sweden to be excellent thus far. The waitress actually berated me when I asked for a new table setting as I had arrived late after walki ng my baby outside for an hour. She was rude and simply awful. Didn't offer any refills or ask for any orders. I had t wait ages to get any attention and they made you feel like you were asking for too much . V sad experience ce as we were entertaining a guest from overseas.

Yelp
I have always liked this restaurant but was very disappointed last time. The meatballs were completely burnt and hard on one side. It disappoint me that the chef served them this way it gives the impression of not caring
