"Adventure on Stocking Island You haven't truly seen The Bahamas if you haven't done a day trip to one of their many unspoiled islands. When in Exuma, a short water taxi ride, which will cost you only $12, will bring you to an island off the port of Georgetown. It's pristine waters and beaches will surely spoil you- the Exuma Cays has one of the clearest waters I've seen in the world! Be sure to be on the lookout for Stingrays next to the Chat 'N' Chill Bar. Feeling adventurous? Walk across waist-deep water to bring you to the other side of the island, where the waves crash over the coral. Go beyond that and take one of the the hidden walking trails that will lead you to the end of the island. Just make sure to not get lost on your own, some of the paths do seem endless like it will lead to nowhere. However far you get, remember to go back as the island tends to elude your sense of time. Your water taxi awaits!"
Great place to be anchored on a boat. Lots of protection from winds and waves. The new club, Coconut is still clean and classy with good food and drinks. Great location. Beaches are beautiful. Snorkeling further southeast is great

We went for the pig roast, and we were not disappointed! The food was excellent! The beach was amazing, and you're able to feed the stingrays as they swim by! We took Elvis's water taxi over and enjoyed half the day at Chat N Chill and the surrounding beach. Drinks were cold, and the food was great! Lots of photo opportunities as well.

Definitely recommend taking A1 Water Taxi over to Stocking Island. The Chat and Chill Bar had a delicious chicken sandwich with fries. I also did some souvenir shipping in the small gift shop.
Fed the Stingrays right off the beach shore. What an amazing 4 hours spent here.

Stocking Island near George Town is a Cruiser's Paradise. The cruising community is amazing! Listen on VHF channel 68 every morning at 8 am. To find out what is going on, find help or offer help. Beach Church is every Sunday morning at 9:30am at the Chat 'n Chill beach. Volleyball is played every afternoon or sit down and join a game of Mexican Train. Cruiser's have organized Yoga and water aerobics on 68 to find out what days. There are lots of options for reprovisioning. There are reefs to explore, a national park and amazing trails throughout the island. Several that will take you up to the Monument of Monument Beach.

Right across the harbor from Georgetown. Many places are currently closed, but the beaches and water is amazing. Lots of trails. Some are overgrown, but you can make your way through

So many boats anchored, but still plenty of room to anchor. We enjoyed the iconic Chat'N' Chill, the volleyball beach, walks on Sanddollar Beach, and Beach Church for three Sundays. The volunteers really make Beach Church a treat. Besides, how often can you go to church barefooted?
