Google
Spacious restaurant with great service. A warm welcome to great food is what should expect here. The prime rib is scrumtrulescent! Decent kid options. I put some prime rib in the quesadilla to jazz it up and make it a high class kid meal. Draft beers are tasty too! I can’t forget the dessert. I’m a cheesecake fan…so enjoy!!!

Google
Very nice space and good service. It appears to be great for steaks, but I wish there were more seafood selections.

Was the only bar in town that would let my son shoot pool 🎱 and they also have a wonderful arcade! we play pool multiple nights a week in FL and my son was not having no pool in Wyoming and we both was treated amazing, The staff and owners are definitely doing a wonderful job also have a photo of Miss Kay!!!! What an amazing place Thank you for everything all the way down to letting us get haircuts in the parking lot dressed as Mountain Men! (2nd weekend in July) I will definitely be back home to Pinedale someday soon and when I do I'm definitely coming back to Stockman's for more amazing memories!!!

We stopped in on a Sunday night, I had made a reservation but it wasn’t really needed. We thought they had good cocktails, friendly waitstaff and great food. We ordered the marrow bone as an appetizer, and it was very tasty. My husband had the lamb and I had the bone in ribeye. The meat on both of our entrees was very good. The only thing we both found lacking was the veg…it was sweet like they had dumped a bunch of agave on the mixed vegetables. The restaurant was clean and bright but a little sterile. Overall would definitely recommend.

Google
This was quite the place to visit, I believe the building was built in 1902 and has such a good feel on the interior giving you a warm and inviting feeling. And I can't say enough about the quality steak dinner along with the sides was all perfection. They were handing out Halloween Goody's while I was there and just like the decoration for the holiday they go all out, great service great food awesome atmosphere and will definitely be stopping in again

Google
Upscale western dining . Great friendly service. Drinks came right out even though it was very busy. Our steaks were cooked just how we wanted them. Had a cozy table with a view of main street Pinedale. Very entertaining. Really great food. Make sure you call in for a reservation

Google
Best steak I've ever had in my life!!!! Great price, too! $32 for a great T-Bone (that was better than any ribeye) with bacon-wrapped scalops!

Google
Winter 2025. Some of the best food we have ever had. Waitresses was great. Nothing bad to say. We were in town for a ski race and hope to be back next year…in part so we can come back to this restaurant.

Yelp
Gotta love a restaurant that's smart enough to send the kids meals out with the appetizer. The kids meals came out very quickly and that was so appreciated. As you're seated you get free dinner biscuits which is a nice touch. Restaurant is clean, comfortable and family friendly. Food was all beautifully presented and very tasty, also ample portions. We will be back when in the area.

Yelp
We split a delicious house salad that had actual chunks of bleu cheese in ire dressing. The salad was chilled, crisp and fresh. Had a special smash burger that was delicious and huge. The fries came straight out of the fryer to our table. Our waiter was excellent and said their is a new chef and sous chef in the kitchen. I will be back.

Yelp
Small menu but for a good reason, foods always cooked to perfection. Friendly bartender, nice spot to enjoy a beer a great sized steak. Would recommend

Yelp
Was really looking forward to eating here after a 7 hour drive. Website and Google says they close at 9 and we showed up at 8 and were turned away. Went to Wind River Brewing and the food and service and outside seating was great! Skip Stockman's. Rude employees that turn away business.

Yelp
The Best: Nice saloon and cute restaurant with fabulous charming Wyoming ambience. Good service, too! The good: The salad we started with was great - fresh and great for two to share. Sage chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Mac & cheese with bacon was spot-on. The meh: The burnt ends beef with blue cheese and bbq sauce had great flavor but was overly fatty (some chunks were simply pure fat - no meat). Broccoli casserole (served with the chicken) was just okay - not super flavorful, mostly stalks, and odd ingredients. Evenings special cocktails were overly sweet and not strong.

Yelp
Had a wonderful steak dinner while in town. Great service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
If I could give them 10 stars I would. Their combination of flavors, pairings of cocktails and wine, the QUALITY of their steaks, the value for $ you spend, the dessert offerings!! This is a must for any foodie-elk corn dogs! They are in a small town so staff shortages are an issue for them but those working WORk HARD to give you the best dining experience they can. I almost hate to give them such a glowing review because I want to keep them to myself! But denying them the business and others the experience is not fair. I'd suggest calling ahead for reservations or to make sure they will be open. There is a bar off to one side of the building where you can get the full menu if you can't make a reservation. Their small bite menu at the bar alone is enough to make you wanna eat everything on it! Be patient with these folks- it's worth it AND karma is a bitch! Be nice- or don't go!!

Yelp
I've been working around Pinedale for 20 years. I'm not a local, but I spend half my time in the area. There are excellent bars and restaurants in Pinedale. The Mexican joint across the street, the Chinese joint next to it. The cafes and coffee shops are all the small western town ambience. Stockmans is NOT one of them. Stockman's is now officially a joke. I've been there a handful of times over the years. A few times recently. A week ago I went with 2 coworkers. We sat at the bar and had dinner. The bartender girl was the absolute most rude person I've ever experienced in the service industry. At first it seemed funny, like good natured banter. But it soon became apparent that she was not joking. The food was good, like always, but I can say without question that I will never in my life spend another dollar in that place. Save yourself the grief (unless you're a local who hangs at the bar) and go across the street to the Corral Bar and have a really good pizza or burger. You'll have a MUCH better time and far friendlier experience. I paid the $145 bill and tipped her generously because I'm not that petty. But the ONLY reason I'll ever go in Stockmans again is to use the bathroom. (Ok, maybe I'm a little petty) Place just sucks now. My coworkers were in shock at the insults this...girl...levied at us.

Yelp
Don't be from out of town or not look like them. Great Mexican restaurant across the street with less attitude

Yelp
First time here and was so stoked about our choice! Fun bar atmosphere and Kate was awesome which is why we decided to eat dinner in the bar side. I had the prime rib which was really good with tasty mashed potatoes and the best au jus ever. My mom had the rib eye and it was excellent, flavor and tenderness, was amazing finished with a garlic herb butter. My dad had the elk corn dogs and said they were good but the steak was better. We dug right in and then remembered to take pics so the plates are a little messy but so good! We are definitely going back next time we're here!

Yelp
Oof. Just oof. House salad with balsamic vinaigrette just balsamic. No oil to speak of, no seasonings in the dressing. It literally takes 30 seconds to make a nice vinaigrette. Steak came out blue, I had them refire to med/rare. Steak not properly seasoned, demi was *super* sweet. Twice baked potato lacking in every way. Mixed veg on the side kinda made a mockery of actual veg and ALSO strangely sweet. I was hungry enough that I ate about half my food, but I definitely wasn't happy about it. Not bothered by the prices, definitely bothered by the unfortunate food. Please, PLEASE learn to cook.

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to think. The menu was somewhat limited and different than what I expected from a steakhouse. Started with a split femur. Never had that before. Might not get it again. No fault of the chef, just not my thing. My kiddo had pasta and for the $$$ the portion was laughable at best. Seriously, it's pasta, it's a kids menu. Give some more food. Come on. The ribeye was delicious however, the addition to steak sauce on the bottom of the plate was a terrible idea. If you are a steakhouse, own the steak. Don't hide it in sauce. Now there wasn't a lot of it but enough to notice. The ribeye had a decent char, but had a few sections with a lot of chew so I'm skeptical of the choice of cut. Didn't get a lot of marbled fat either. The side veggies were awesome. The potato, awesome. I just hoped this place would shock me being in a small town in Wyoming.

Yelp
My friends and I came in on a Friday night. We debated whether to go to the Saloon or Steakhouse. We walked in through the Saloon and is definitely a bar vibe, fun but not great for conversation. We made our way to the restaurant and enjoyed great service and incredible food. The filet mignon was absolutely perfect. The drinks were great. The menu has many pricey items. I honestly didn't believe it would be "worth it". It was.

Yelp
I recently came here after wanting to try it for sometime. We had dinner and also came the next day for Sunday brunch. I was very pleased both times! Ambiance and decor are lovely and it has a clean feel and look. Connected to a bar that has a pool table. Service is wonderful and we got very taken care of by both servers Alexis and Rae. The food was very good. I ordered the lemon chicken dish for dinner and I enjoyed the tart but savory flavor and couldn't get enough of the sauce. I'm hoping to try steak next time! But I think brunch is my favorite and may be a new weekly thing for me. They had THE best crab eggs Benedict. They were considerate in adding a gluten free English muffin for me. It was delicious. I also ordered a delightfully strong but sweet Bellini and my boyfriend had a mimosa. Both very good. My only complaint is that for dinner the restaurant was very loud and may need to work on the acoustics of the room.

Yelp
Dont waste your time or money. It is obvious these waitress's hate their jobs. Worst, disrespectful waitresses/child we've ever met. Hardly anyone there, the other waitress just sitting waiting for something to do. Our child/waitress was annoyed taking our drink orders b/c we had questions. Then I asked her if the ham & eggs was bone on, or processed. That annoyed the kid too. She told me I was incredibly rude. I fired back at her that SHE is the incredibly rude & disrespectful one, and never would I have ever spoken to a customer like she did. Sign of the times. We would have been fired in the spot. We also didn't appreciate her & the other do nothing waitress gossiping about us & laughing. We also didn't appreciate their smirks as we left. I and my family have gone there for years. Use to have great customer service. I nor any of my very large family will be returning. I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears, because the owner seems to have the same disrespectful attitude as her/his staff. Must be where their disrespectful waitress's get it. Pretty sure they will be going under in the near future. June 5, 2024 noonish. Hopefully someone buys it who knows what customer service is. Buyer beware. Well being I have to have 500 characters, I guess they will be angry faces. Cause that's what I .

Yelp
Fantastic food! We started off in the bar and had a couple of drinks before our reservation. The bar service was on point. Once we were seated, the service was top notch as well. We ordered the calamari to start and it was like no other calamari I've ever had. It was more of a solid steak like cut instead of rings, it was the most delicious calamari I've ever had! The prime rib was so tender, and so flavorful cooked perfectly some of the best ever. If you are ever in Pinedale, this is a must visit. They are only opened Thursday through Sunday so we ended up staying an extra day so we could eat there and it was well worth it.

Yelp
I was hesitant to come to the saloon while staying in Pinedale because I read reviews that we could not order from the restaurant food menu. But after stopping in for a beer, I discovered that it was possible to order from the restaurant menu....but its not consistent - the bartender was amazing and let me order dessert from the menu and it was absolutely fabulous. The cook even came out to ask how good I thought it was - definitely don't pass this place up if you want to sit in bar and order from restaurant- check with them first...Chances are....you will be able to :)

Yelp
Came to Stockmans off a rec from our air bnb host, and I was not disappointed!! Honestly the best meal I had out here in WY, including places in Jackson. Probably the most delicious ribeye I've ever had; in addition to an amazing pheasant soup. Sadly I didn't realize they also had a bar area on the other side of the building. But this place was great... and they had live music. Be aware they do have off season hours so make sure they are open before heading to town.

Yelp
Incredible service from the moment I stepped foot in here. Was seated at the bar and had the rib-eye. Wow... a lot of food and delicious! Came with a baked potato and fresh veggies. Stuck around long enough for the DJ and solid music and crowd!!

Yelp
Damn! I really wanted to like this place. The bartender has got great personality and he's probably the owner. The girl who serve me told me it was her first day and it shows, but that's not why it gets the bad rating. Keep in mind that your in a very remote area but that's no excuse for turning at a bad steak. I ordered a medium rare steak and got medium well and it was so oversalted it was barely edible. When the young lady came back about 10 minutes later I informed her that there's a two minute rule where are you should check in on your customer and see how things are going. I let her know my issues with a steak but I would still choke it down anyway. I think I just should've ordered the burger which is kind of hard to screw up. If steaks are your wheelhouse you better have your game on!

Yelp
Wow - the bar room with the fire, TVs, fun vibe and awesome manager is worth visiting. While their bar menu is KILLER, it would be great to have the whole menu available to order - just to expand the options. In general, it's so nice to have this option available in Pinedale. Totally raises the bar for the town. Love coming here. Great food.

Yelp
Wow- let me start with that. From the moment we walked into the saloon there is a comfortable feeling. It appears to be newly remodeled with a modern western motif. There was a short wait for a table on a Saturday night. They recently opened the dining room. The interior is very well done with a mixture of booths and tables. We sat at a booth. The dinner was one of our top dining experiences. The prime rib melted in your mouth accompanied by horseradish sauce and au jous, sautéed green beans with pepper and tomatoes. Rainbow trout was cooked perfectly with a crispy skin and served with risotto that was so good. Side salad made with a spring mix and blue cheese dressing. For dessert we had a raspberry sorbet served over a rhubarb stew with berries. Pinedale is lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber. After dinner we enjoyed live music back in the saloon.

Yelp
Calamari cooked perfectly and wonderful. A side salad that stands out, how do you make a side salad stand out?! This whole restaurant stands out! Best one I found so far in Pinedale.

Yelp
I was physically thrown out because I had a service dog with me. I don't know anything about the food. Never got that far. I can't post pics cuz the bouncer broke my phone and threatened to feed it to me.

Cindi E.

Yelp
Food is expensive and quality doesn't match the price. Server lectured us on drinking because we ordered a drink and had come from the bar area, not knowing we had appetizers in the bar prior. The bar area is very nice, has a great atmosphere. If we ever order food again we will definitely eat in the bar area.

Bill B.

Yelp
Pricing you would expect in Jackson or Sun Valley, a bit steep for Pinedale.

Robert D.

Yelp
We stayed in Pinedale for the first time after passing through many times over the years. Food was good and service was very good. Very pleasant surprise to find such a nice place in Pinedale.

Joan R.

Yelp
We are there the other night, we wanted to sit on the bar side of the restaurant, but was informed you can only get burgers on the bar side. If you want a steak, you need to go to the 'restaurant side'. Pretty easy way to lose money, because instead of ordering 4 steaks, we turned to burgers instead. The food was good, however. Haven't heard very many things about the owner, have heard he does not care about the locals. Trying to be too fancy in a small town, Pinedale is not Jackson.

JoAnne I.

Yelp
We were there for their soft opening. I have to say I was very impressed. This was a big city "downtown" quality menu. The flavors and the options were amazing. The appetizers and the entrees were delicious! Definitely will come back when we are in town.

Brett J.

Yelp
Over rated, over priced, underwhelmed! we moved to town a short ti e ago and wanted to try this place for awhile, seated in the restaurant side and given menus. we ordered drinks off the happy hour menu and I got a burger and fries, my wife got an order of fried mushrooms. $20 for one of the worst burgers I have ever had , bland and the bun fell apart. $18 for a handful of mediocre mushrooms, the bill came and the drinks were full price. We asked for them to fix it and the waitress was very nice, she told us the manager would have to talk to us about it. The Manager came over with a fake nice attitude and told us that the drink prices were not in effect in the dining room, only the bar area. We told her that we ordered them off the menu that we were given and she refused to fix it. $ 60 bucks for a crappy burger / appetizer and 3 drinks. We will never go back thanks to the manager with the face piercing. would have been an easy fix caused by their own mistake with the menus. Don't waste your time or Money.
