Stoke Beach House, Manly

This hostel is amazing! I loved staying here can’t recommend it enough. It’s good value for money and all round clean and comfortable. Perfect location literally a street away from everything beach, shops, pubs, gyms, restaurants, ferry wharf. Clean rooms we booked a private twin room it was spacious and beds really comfortable. Women’s showers and bathroom facilities were modern and clean and had a really good hair dryer free to use. Nice extra touches in this hostel make it feel more homely. Free continental breakfast of yoghurt, pastries, fruit, breads, cereals, coffee, was good quality. Communal area and kitchen was modern and closes at 11pm so not noisy in the hostel at night. Would definitely stay here again.

stayed at Stoke Beach House during my study abroad program and loved it. The location is amazing, right by the beach with great views and easy access to cafés and walks. The vibe was social and welcoming, making it easy to meet people, and the rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely recommend it for students or travelers.

Amazing hostel with an incredible vibe! The vibe of this hostel is absolutely incredible and the place itself is amazing. I had such a great experience staying here. They organize activities every single day, which makes it super easy to meet people and enjoy your time to the fullest. Unfortunately, I had the bad luck of getting sick during my stay, but the way the team supported me was truly exceptional. The entire staff was incredibly caring and attentive — they even accompanied me to the hospital. A special mention to the manager, Fabio, who was always on top of everything, constantly checking in on me, offering help, and making sure I had all the assistance I needed to solve my situation. I can’t recommend this hostel enough. I would definitely come back without a doubt!

I stayed for two weeks. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Everything closes at 11 pm (unless there's a special event), and it's quite quiet and peaceful. There are activities every week from Monday to Saturday. It's very close to the beach. The Wi-Fi isn't the best, but it's decent. It's fairly clean, but that depends a lot on the other guests. I would definitely return.

My husband and I loved our staying. The team was so helpful (Pedro, Will and Maria), end everyone else here. My husband doesn’t like staying in hostel but at Stoke House he liked here. We had a beautiful room just for ourselves, the place is been cleaned very often, the staff are super friendly. It was so nice to have yummy breakfast with fresh bread and products in the morning, meet new people and have Ana affordable time in Manly. Thank you guys!!! You’re the best!

Dont go to this place if you want to sleep. Worst hostel of my life. I had to sleep with the lights on all night because they didnt want to turn them off and receptionist couldnt help. Noise and party until 11 pm. Expensive and you have to make your own bed and undo it after paying 100 for the night. This is crazy. Rooms dirty and imposible to walk between all the stuff. Noise in my room until 4 am and no one from the hostel helped with this situation. Unbelievable

I loved the environment and friendly guests/ staff. I also love that they have on going events. The rooms however have no a/c and unfortunately the beach breeze didn’t do much.

Good hostel for long term stays - I wouldn’t stay here again for a short term stay as the majority of the hostel is taken up with the LT crew so the activities organised each night are really just a social outlet for those guests rather than for everyone to attend. I had booked a hostel over a hotel mainly for these types of activities so I’d book a hotel in the future given most of these nights either fell through or just seemed to be private events for LT guests and given hotels would be about the same price with less noise and a private bathroom. Decent breakfasts. Good size private rooms but a bit cold during the winter. Cinema room was great. Yoga classes were good. Bathrooms fairly clean. Great location in Manly.
