Stoke Park

I used to spend alot alot of money loads of money every year entertaining my guests. When I drove into the drive there was a gate with security not allowing through. Awful real shame as how lovely and welcoming this wonderful location was, plenty other areas wonderful places to go and visit

Played 18 holes here course condition was excellent and having 15 minute tee slots makes it feel empty The golfing staff are very friendly and helpful Some of the structures round the course are a bit tacky also no ball cleaning facilities around the course is a pain especially for this time of year Some of the rules are are a bit strange also the trek from car park to club house is ridiculous Also having portoloos as toilets is not very appealing Its like the owners do not really want the golf course there and want a private estate for their enjoyment

Fantastic course all year but during the summer with limited hours it plays like an exclusive private course. It is in great shape. There were beautiful tee boxes, fairways lined with old growth trees and great greens conditions. Also beautiful water features and manicured bunkers. A driving range with fiber mats is included with the tee time. There's a brand new clubhouse with bar and restaurant with breakfast and lunch, a locker room with no showers, and a pro shop. The bar staff, shop staff, and course marshalls were some of the most attentive and best I've ever golfed with. It's also fun that the property has an interesting history in film as well.

Stayed here for my wedding night! My brother gifted this for our wedding evening! I was told I couldn't arrive in my dress due to other weddings being held.. I decided to cancel the booking as I wasn't going to change to book in a hotel room after a long day. However the hotel upgraded my room and resolved this for us! Most beautiful room and service! Lots of goodies in the room can't wait to come back :)

We played 18 holes here yesterday and we absolutely loved it. The course was in amazing condition and provided a real challenge. Lots of bunkers, water, trees and natural landscape that makes each hole unique and straight off a picture postcard. Away from the fairway is quite forgiving as the grass is maintained short and the greens run quite fast. The only downside is there are no markings so we had some confusion as to which was the next hole. A map would have helped. Driving range and facilities were also top notch. I have played at quite a few courses mainly round Surrey and this went straight into my top 3. Will definitely be back.

Played this course today 8/3/25. Place is amazing with such friendly golf staff. The starter was so happy and welcoming. Felt like he couldn't do enough to make it better. Even my 9yr old son was really impressed. The course itself is probably one of the best I've played. We had such a good day and would love to come back. Definitely up there for me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great and unique place to visit and play golf. From free ball range aiming at a Nelson'esc column, to one of the best nostalgic views you can imagine, "Dunlop 7" anyone on the 18th. Great condition, long course with more bunkers than Normandy. If the opportunity arises seize it.

This hotel is just a top shelf establishment. It has all one could ever expect in the way of service and convenience with a mamouth amount of Ambience thrown in on top. Breakfast is outstanding. Always have the smoke salmon and scrambled eggs. Tea and scones in the afternoon. Played golf too. I am no Sean Connery but felt like it playing on the scene of Goldfinger. Anyhow. Can't say enough about the service and the staff in general. We are all stars there and yes there is. Wonderful. The Spa is second to none and being a tennis fanatic have often been to the Boodles tournament on the lead up to Wimbledon. Anyhow staying there or not I frequent as often as possible. Good for them I don't live in the UK or I would become the resident pain the ass. SC

Monsieur took me to Stoke Park Club for a special occasion late last summer. I'd spent the previous 4 months learning golf and practising on different courses but not one prepared me for how tough the championship golf course is at SPC! Having said that, I made my way around 18 of the possible 27 holes and managed to score a couple of bogies while we were at it. But by the famed 18th hole where James Bond played Goldfinger in the film of the same name, both Monsieur and I were absolutely exhausted. The fairways are long, the bunkers so strategic that they're harder to work around than advanced Sudoku, but if you asked me to grab my clubs and head out for another 18 holes at Stoke Park right now? I'd be there in a shot. During our weekend, Monsieur and I also took advantage of the spa, where there's a country club feel and indoor swimming pool flooded with natural light from an entire wall of windows, we practised on the putting green, hit the driving range and benefitted from a well-appointed room filled with antiques. Our continental breakfast in the Orangery was just right, the lunch on a picnic table overlooking the tricky 15th hole consisted of fantastic BLTs, and the dinner we enjoyed at their fine restaurant was nothing less than Michelin star material. Monsieur and I have now decided to get married at Stoke Park. Need I say more? Yes, it's expensive, but some good packages are available, where you can try a little of everything that Stoke Park has to offer, so keep an eye out. In our view, this place is worth every single penny, and the staff are nothing less than world class.
