Great development with Flying Doctor display and good cafes and upmarket Crustaceans restaurant. Easy walk from our hotel. Beautiful view back to Darwin City.

This is a very scenic area, but with a very few exceptions, little is open until 5 or 6 PM. The Royal Flying Doctors Museum is fun and informative, but not real big. Good to kill an hour or so. But unless you enjoy hiking, stay away until evening time. Don't forget there is a free shuttle to the wharf area.

Been here many many times. All the restaurants are good, no negative experiences here at all. Always a beautiful view, sunsets, watch the jet skis and yachts 🛥️ drive past during sundown. 🌅 And see lots and lots of fish in the water, if ur lucky you’ll get to see fish feeding. Make sure to keep an eye on ur food because of seagulls 🦅 If ur coming just after sundown you’ll probably get a park on the warf, but if your wanting to be there for sundown most of the times the parks are full and you’ll have to walk onto the warf from the parks out the front.

Stokes Hill Wharf is a fantastic spot with stunning views, perfect for enjoying dinner while soaking in the surroundings. There are plenty of tables and a wide variety of food options, ranging from Asian to Australian cuisine, catering to different tastes. It’s also a family-friendly location, offering ample space for kids to play. We visited at the perfect time to witness the departure of the Vespucci ship as it set sail on its world tour, which added an extra special touch to the experience. This is an ideal destination for a relaxing and memorable evening.

If you are looking for a casual place to buy quality fresh takeaway meals and enjoy a refreshing drink, this is the spot. Eat there on the resin tables and chairs with umbrellas - right on the water or undercover. The food outlets offer an incredible variety and are well presented with the food truly delicious. Choose from authentic Thai, seafood, fish and chips, curries, and chilli mudcrabs! There were at least two alcohol licensed outlets we saw, both with a large variety of beers, wines, and spirits to choose from. There is also an ice creamery offering an extensive range of gelato's. Yum! We went for a light lunch, then took a quick drive to the water park precinct for a swim and returned for dinner! For a casual no fuss lunch or dinner we highly recommend Stokes Hill Wharf. There are toilets and a paid parking area. We sat and watched the Scenic Eclipse 11 leave Port with a navy ship in the background, tugs and cruisers moving about. Top spot! 👌👍✔️

Nicely done up area with lots of seats facing the water. Easy stroll from the CBD/ waterfront. Kids play area with locked doors for parents to sit and eat in peace. The choices are endless- fish and chippery, oyster bar, steakhouse, bars, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, seafood restaurant...

This was the first place I fell in love with when I first came to Darwin in 2010. The food is still great and growing and changing as all things do. The views are "to die for..." and the sunsets here are amazing. Wet season, dry season, build up or let down it's always a great place for locals and visitors alike to come to. Buy a drink, buy a meal sit down with friends and just relax. And that's without even mentioning its amazing history from the 1885 roughly until today. Including being... the home terminal of the Old North Australia Railway Line and being almost totally demolished during WWII! Sit back and dream.
