There is a parking garage (but not with many spaces), and then you walk the winding road up to the castle. We bought tickets and were asked what language we wanted the brochure in, but I said we did not need it. The woman at the kasse said, "Of course you need it, or you won't know what you're looking at!" I was never forced to take information material before, but we accepted.
There weren't many places to explore on the grounds and we couldn't figure out how to the get to the other side outside. The inside we had to wear felt clogs over our shoes and they were enormous! It was a nice interior but not many rooms too see.
