One of my favourite castles on The Rhein and a must if you are near Koblenz. The tour is amazing, the views even better. Highly recommend.

One of the most beautiful castles here in Germany! An excellent mix of defensive castle and modern residence! The view onto Koblenz is also magnificent :)

There is a parking garage (but not with many spaces), and then you walk the winding road up to the castle. We bought tickets and were asked what language we wanted the brochure in, but I said we did not need it. The woman at the kasse said, "Of course you need it, or you won't know what you're looking at!" I was never forced to take information material before, but we accepted. There weren't many places to explore on the grounds and we couldn't figure out how to the get to the other side outside. The inside we had to wear felt clogs over our shoes and they were enormous! It was a nice interior but not many rooms too see.

An alright ish romantic castle, was extensively rebuilt in the 19th century. Upon visit most of the beautiful garden was inaccessible, interior areas were nice.

This is a very beautiful castle. Although you must walk up a very steep hill. Or call a taxi to drive you up the hill. Alot of history is preserved in the castle. I can not imagine how hard it was to build this castle back in 1839. Well worth visiting. A beautiful walk down.

Beautiful castle. Well worth the admission costs to see the inside rooms. If you parked in the garage at the foot of the hill, tell the attendant when you get the visitors pass, and you should be able to park for free.

Beautiful view, and the route is great almost 1.5 km walk slope is gentle and well maintained. If you want to go by car then it's great you can take car to the top and front of castle 🏰. This castle is renovated with beautiful infrastructure. They cost 5€ per person and they also tour (in German only)
