This bakery is a must-visit if you are in the St. Jacobs or surrounding area. Everything is fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced. My family and I have been going to this bakery for over 30 years and the portion sizes are the same today as they were 30 years ago. Early in the morning, they have a “fill your bag” stand, where you can fill a grocery bag full of day-old baked goods for $27. The quality is fantastic, plenty of space inside, and wonderful gift options inside as well.

Delicious treats, coffee and breads at very affordable prices! This was our first time trying it and it didn't disappoint. We can't wait to return and try more!

This is one of my favorite bakeries to visit in the local area because of how fresh, & delicious the desserts are. You can tell they put time into what they bake as everything is made correctly and perfectly. The pie crust is light and delicate, but brings a delicious crunch to the pies. & I love that they use choux pastry for the eclair (it makes it taste so much better!) Overall service was quick and friendly, and I will continue to come back. :) Recommending the flakies, the eclair and DEFINITELY the chocolate cream pie!

Went to St. Jacobs for a day trip, and I would have to say that Stone Crock Bakery does not dissapoint! The atmosphere inside was fantastic, staff are friendly, washrooms are clean, and the food was amazing. Both the Rocky Road pastries and the peach lemonade we ordered were delicious and reasonably priced, being made with traditional methods and local ingredients. The newly-renovated interior is connected to the neighbouring Jacob's Grill and Stone Cook, offering accesible connectivity to local restaurants of your choosing.

I didn't go for a long time. All the time this bakery's taste is awesome!!! The price is getting high now so this point was sad. But, this happened everywhere now. So, I can't complain about it... We get Long Johns and Apples Fritter. It was so fresh and tasty. But, for me Long Johns was too sweet. I couldn't finish for one.

Cashiers were professional and kind. Quick service. Great baked goods!

Another one of my favorites. Always so much to choose from. I love going first thing in the morning to get a Baden coffee and warm apple fritter. The crispy edges, soft pillowy inside bursting with apple flavor then covered with their glaze (which almost has a caramel flavor) absolutely perfect. Their tea balls are huge, actually most of their baked goods are a large portion. I also enjoyed their long johns. I appreciate how they are not baptized in confectioners sugar. I highly recommend the flakey as well. Make sure to grab a couple extra napkins. There are a few spots to sit inside as well as some outdoor seating.

The bread is so delicious. There are so many diverse and delicious breads. I wanted to try it all, but unfortunately I'm going to visit again next time. The staff was so kind that I had a happy time here.

Yelp
Super cute location where you can find some fun snacks and canned goods along with your baked goods and pastries. I love that they had a lot of good gluten free options too, so it's a friendly location for those with celiac. Good stop on the way to St. Jacobs. And the whole little main street is kinda cute!

Yelp
We came in for a morning coffee and pastry. It was busy when we arrived. The girls at the counter were very friendly and quick to serve. They poured our coffees into mugs and then we went over to another counter to fix them up with cream and sugar. Most of the tables were taken so we all sat at the window counter. The bakery has lots of freshly made baked goods from breads to cookies to pies and cakes. There are also savory dishes too. It can be a bit pricey but this place is located in a very touristy area. The seasonal baked goods looked so good and fresh. The apple fritter we got was big and very dense with a few apples in it. They were all out of the rhubarb squares we live so much. When you look into the back you can see all the girls working in their bonnets and cotton dresses. Very cute. Parking is an issue on busy days.

Yelp
We drove 2 hours from from London for shitty sausage roll and some dried out tea biscuits for 20$ never again

Yelp
We ventured into this small bakery, captivated by its attractive assortment of desserts and goods. Together, we ordered a cinnamon knot, chocolate eclair, and a cream filled pastry (unfortunately, I have forgotten its name). The cinnamon knot was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, but had the very earthy and rich tone of cinnamon. It was also the perfect size. This was, by far, my family's favourite out of all that we ordered. Our second favourite was the chocolate eclair. It came encased in a crispy, semi-sweet chocolate dipping. The puff pastry was filled with rich cream - the thick kind, not the cheap frosting-like type that came with the last order. This was, however, a very filling choice - albeit tasty! Our least favourite was the cream-filled pastry. The cream was more similar to frosting, and the entire thing tasted like an overly sweet timbit. We weren't fans. Overall, the three came up to roughly $6 (each was either $1.50 or $2.00). We may come again to try more of its pastries, or try its St. Jacobs' stall.

Yelp
Stone Crock Bakery is a good pit stop during a day trip to St. Jacobs. Bread, Cakes, Pies, Cookies, Butter Tarts and more which for sure would make anyone with a sweet tooth happy. But if you are on special low sugar diet, they also carries sweet that are made with Splenda. There is a sit down self served area inside the bakery if you do prefer to enjoy your treats with a coffee. And on a nice sunny day, there are also some picnic tables in front of the store!

Yelp
This place is really really good. I recommend the pig cookies and the peanut butter cockiest. Very nice people and a great place over

Yelp
Nice cakes and pastries. The store is located at St.Jacobs, which is far from the university. Unfortunately I am not able to go there everyday. It seems like the only bakery place in that small town, but it will not make you disappointed. There is a bunch of choice for the desserts. All of them are good. And the price is considerable. They are lower than the average price in sobers or Zehrs. But the quality is much better than that kind of supermarkets. It's a good place for a brief afternoon tea and have a rest a little bit. I ordered the chocolate cakes, and it's really good. Not too sweet and have a strong flavour of chocolate. If you want to grab some food, There is also a bar next to the store, which is also good.

Yelp
Excellent apple square, nice tarts. Very boring strip/street (if you're under 85 years old!). 5 bucks for a loaf of bread, pricey.

Yelp
The bakery is a staple in St.Jacobs, but it seems like the baker has been changed. The baked goods just aren't what they used to be. I got long Johns, eclairs, and cookies and they tasted stale and not nearly the same quality as a few months ago. Hopefully they get over this hurdle soon.

Yelp
Phenomenal. ST Jacobs Mennonite community knows how to do it. Won't miss this place again. Will be a regular stop from now on. Great staff. And excellent coffee.

Yelp
Some of the best baked goods I have ever eaten are from here. The cinnamon twists are unbelievable. You can taste the freshness. I'm also a big fan of the pumpkin pie squares, muffins, sugar cookies and breads.

Yelp
My husband and I went here and enjoyed a great coffee and the best French vanilla I've ever had! We also bought a strawberry rhubarb pie for our dog sitter that apparently was delicious. We sat at the window and people watched. The atmosphere and service was perfect!

Yelp
Stone Crock Bakery is a good spot to have a quick Cappuccino and relax a bit. Its a full intact bakery and you see the kitchen visually on where they baked the good. They all sorts of bread, Sweet goodies, pies etc. The other section is a cafe where you can get muffins and coffee, Cappuccino or latte. Their Cappuccino tasted quite good.
