I wore them on a rugged hike to Cerro Pico Blanco, and not only did they hold up perfectly, but I had zero foot pain after 4+ hours on one of the toughest trails I’ve ever done. Huge shoutout to Mark, the owner—he’s been living in Costa Rica for 25 years and running this shop for 12. His knowledge, hospitality, and passion for the outdoors made the experience unforgettable. WITHOUT HESITATION THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received in Costa Rica. I ordered a beautiful Kelty tent which was delivered quickly and efficiently. In order to receive it, I needed to "chat" via WhatsApp with someone at the shop. They helped me coordinate and determine the right pick-up location (I have never ordered goods online in Costa Rica before this-- it's actually easier than I thought) AND provided great service. When we used the tent, we discovered a manufacturer defect-- one of the buckles didn't match the others and couldn't be used. In messaging about this with the shop, they offered to pay for the return and change the buckle (read: sew it in the store themselves). This process was well-coordinated and the tent cape was very quickly returned to me (at no additional cost). And it looks great, works perfectly, exactly as intended. I'm so pleased with this shop-- I'm a very satisfied customer and would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this shop to anyone looking for high-quality brand names and international level customer service.
