We have just enjoyed three nights at this lovely bed and breakfast hotel. Our room was very smart and comfortable. We had requested a bathroom with a walk in shower which was perfect and we really liked the coloured mood lighting in the bathroom mirror. |Everything was very clean throughout.|The staff were all very cheerful and friendly.|Breakfast was a delight! We thoroughly enjoyed the special recipe porridge, and the cooked breakfast and omelettes were delicious. Again, everything in the dining room was beautifully presented.|I would definitely recommend Stone Villa to future visitors.

Absolutely loved our one night stay at this hotel, we were so warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The room was lovely, with ironing board, hairdryer, fan, safe and a fridge with water and milk to use the tea/coffee facilities. It was about 20 minute walk to the city centre but there are also pubs, local shops a street away. The breakfast was really good and cooked to order. A really lovely place. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we couldn’t have been more well looked after. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The breakfast both days was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. James was the most welcoming host and made us feel very at home. We will definitely be recommending Stone Villa to our friends and family as the perfect place to stay for a weekend in Chester.

We’ve stayed at Stone Villa many times over the years but this was the first time since the full refurbishment. The whole place looks great, modern and comfortable decor. ||From the moment we’ve arrived and were greeted by James with a cheery hello to leaving what the son of our ex-owners asked us which car was ours because his dad recognised it! A visit to Stone Villa feels like visiting friends. ||The rooms are comfortable and well equipped with a mini fridge, room safe and luxurious bathroom.||The location, amenities and a choice of home cooked breakfasts make it well worth a visit. ||Nothing is too much trouble for Stone Villa and we’d highly recommend a visit.

Our 3rd visit in around 7 years but our first visit since the new owners took over & refurbished the rooms .|We choose here not only for the great welcome, comfortable rooms but also it has a great location.|It’s a 10 mins walk to the town centre & 5 mins walk to the train station.|There is a good Chinese restaurant at the end of the street, a little Co/op that sells anything you may need around the corner.|The rooms are stylish, the bed so comfortable with good quality linen & towels, all spotlessly clean. |There is a fridge in the room with a bottle of water & fresh milk in for a cuppa on a morning (thank you, this is very appreciated).|The breakfast was yummy, good quality fresh ingredients & cooked to perfection.|The private parking is a bonus.|We will definitely return for a 4th time “soon”.

Good location, only 0.8 miles easy walk into the old town. Comfortable room, if a little small [only a double room was available). The breakfast is outstanding and plentyfull.. A couple of issues that stopped me rating it higher (despite the excellent breakfast) were the room lighting was a little dim (not helped by one of the 3 bulbs in the light had failed. We could not adjust the room heating as the radiator thermostat was missing. The receptionist had to turn off the entire hotel heating to stop our room getting too hot. Good for us, but many not helpful for the other rooms if they were a bit cool. Lastly, they only change the towels every 3 days, which is fine if you had somewhere to hang ghem when used/wet. There are no hooks in the bathroom (or bedroom) to hang then or a dressing gown if you had one. A real oversight that is easy and cheap to fix. One bonus item was the provision of a bar fridge with fresh milk. Nice touch for coffee/tea drinkers

This thoroughly-modernised B&B is a great place to base yourself for exploring the Chester area. The room was spacious with a very modern bathroom and comfy bed. Breakfast was cooked to order and there's free parking out the front. It's only a minute's walk to Faulkner Street which has a whole range of supermarkets, eateries and pubs, and there's a laundrette just around the corner too. About 20 minutes' walk to the centre of Chester.||The owner is a very friendly young guy who is quite chatty and helpful. He even remembered where we were going each day and asked how it was the next day at breakfast!

A lovely place to stay close enough to town to walk in, far enough away to be a peaceful haven. Beautifully appointed rooms, first class service and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast has a good menu. Can highly recommend. Try the afternoon tea too. A big thank you to Janes, Ellie and the team. We will definitely visit again.
