Stone Villa Chester

Beautiful hotel, room was lovely everything you needed in it. Staff are very friendly and helpful made us feel welcome. Loved the little extra touches like finding chocolate on bed and curtains closed when we returned to the room last night. Great breakfast plenty of choice with great produce

Last minute break - what a find. Been to Chester a few times and this hotel is definitely one to go back to. Quiet location, lovely rooms, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Best greeting we have ever had on arrival and great shower, comfortable bed and lovely room. Faulkner Street within 5 minutes walk has plenty of places to eat and everything you need. 15-20 mins walk to centre which was fine - no need to use the car. A winner all round for us. Would definitely recommend.

As with all previous reviewers it’s a 5* from us too. Great welcome, really tasteful, clean and attractive room and large bathroom. Lovely breakfast and lovely hosts. |Lots of eateries, pubs, shops literally around the corner but the hotel itself is extremely quiet.|Definitely recommend and will stay here again ourselves on any future visit to Chester.

Would just like to say, what a beautiful place to stay. Staff very attentive, place spotlessly clean & within easy distance to Chester town centre. The room was a little cold. Due to myself and my partner having poor mobility, we stayed in an accessible room, & if I have any criticism at all, the shower cubicle could do with a couple of grab rails, just to make guests feel a little safer getting in & out. All in all a very pleasant place. Thank you.

I have really thought about this review as it was 2nd time we have stayed at Stone Villa and I really don't like giving poor reviews. |Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, gorgeous breakfasts, lovely young staff but we did have an issue which shouldn't have happened.|We arrived back one afternoon after going out and a bunch of keys were in the lock of our door. We sat in lounge for a while, then I went, knocked on our door no reply. To my surprise the door was unlocked, the room hadn't been serviced, it was as though someone had just upped and left without locking door!!|I went to reception, the girl working there was very apologetic, looked horrified, gave me what we needed and offered to straighten the bed. |To be honest I did feel sorry for her, maybe the person cleaning our room had an emergency and had to leave but there should be plans in place to ensure it never happens again.

Again Stone Villa and her staff made our 3 night stay enjoyable and relaxing. The refurb has enhanced its overwhelming appeal to a new level. The breakfasts are star quality with bundles of delicious choices. Thanks to all that made our stay, which is why we keep on returning when we visit Chester.

Initial impressions were great with fabulous service from the young man on reception who greated us in the car park and took our bags. The room was good, warm (on a cold evening) and spacious with good facilities. Unfortunately in the morning things weren't as great. Breakfast was average and took a while for stuff to come out. Service could also have been better. Disappointing to be disturbed by cleaning staff playing their radio very loudly (we could hear it clearly in our room) in the morning (9.45 ish) and generally noisy. Not great when you're still chilling.

Last minute booking and we weren't disappointed. Warm welcome, tasteful, spotless, comfortable room with an excellent shower. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Situated a short walk or bus ride to the centre of Chester. We would return without question
