Pros: super great staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Pools! The ambiance was peaceful and felt very authentic. Great breakfast and dinner buffet, both included. Amazing food! Large apartment Cons: Nothing on the buffet was marked. So it was a guessing game what you were getting. We have some allergies so we were crazy careful but still had to get benadryl. The refrigerator was on the electric outlet that shut off whenever the card was removed. We lost groceries, but it was fine as dinner was included. Tea kettle did not work.

This hotel absolutely enchanted us. It's magical as you enter under the canopy of rose blossoms and the way of building this place is like organized chaos (just like a Greek old town). The food was very tasty and regularly changed. At first, our accommodation was not what we expected based on the description given on booking, but then we were allocated to another room which was very cozy and comfortable. All thanks to the help of a great receptionist Dimitro. All the staff was amazing, especially with our little 1yo daughter. Special thanks goes to Janis and Natasa, who took great care of us. We WILL come again, and I hope it will be very soon.

Spent 2 days with family. The place is literally a small village made of stone, not a single brick found. The owned obviously had an enginneer design and built a stone village exactly the way villages/houses were made 200 years ago. This may not be appealing/suitable for everyone though. We enjoyed it very much. Very good food and servive.

This village perplexed me as soon as I saw it, very kind and helpful staff, clean rooms and bathroom and excellent breakfast, perhaps one of the best I've had in my life, especially the Greek yogurt with honey on top🤤. The only flaw is the price a little expensive but it's really worth it. Congratulations!!

Usually, I do not make reviews wherever I go, but this is a necessity in order to warn everybody. 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗥𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠!!!! Before I get to the main point, I wanted to outline the fact that till the last day, when my girlfriend and I encountered the RAT, everything was pretty normal. So, first of all, when we arrived at the location, the son of the owner of the hotel greeted us and took us to our rooms. At the first glance, everything seemed ok, but after we started to empty our bags, we noticed that under our bed there was a lot of dust and a damp smell came from the closet. We overlooked these, because the cleaning lady came the next day and wiped the dust. Also, just as a side note, the cleaning lady came only 2-3 times in 7 days, and the bed sheets where changed only once:). Even though, we saw some bad reviews regarding the food, we were pleased by it, because we are not so pretentious. It was enough for us. Every morning there were scrambled eggs and some cheese, ham, jam, milk and cereal, vegetables. In the evening, the food was different every day, and there were 2-3 options to choose from. Once again, as I mentioned before, the food was very tasty and good. Now, coming back to the room, I will start by saying that the bathroom was very old, and in the first 2 days, we had to talk with some guy that worked there in order to have hot water, but then the rest of the days was fine. Also, because the bathroom was very damped and wet after we took a shower, every day we had to clean the bathroom of slugs:) and it became very disgusting at some point, as there were 2-3 at the same time in the bathroom and in the bath tub (see the photos). Now, the room was fine, but there were some small black things, which we thought were some larvae, as the roof was made out of wood (eventually, in the last night we googled it and figured it out that it was rat poop (again, in the photos) ). We took care of the "larvae", but it kept appearing more and more. In the last night, we went to bed at around 12pm, as we had the transfer bus to the airport at 5:30am, next morning. But, at around 1am, I heard some noises coming from the TV, and when I opened the lights, there it was: 𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗥𝗔𝗧!!! We ran straight out of the room and called the owner, because after 11pm, there was nobody at the reception:) I told him there was a rat in our room and he told me that he will sent his son, but he will arrive in 20-30 minutes, as they stay far away. After he arrived, he tried to dodge us and just give us another room. But we could not let him slide like that and said everything that we had to tell, at 1:30am:). He said that he can not do anything, just to give us another room. Of course we didn't want to stay in another room, especially since we noticed rat poop on the floor there too. We left our bags and waited for the next three hours on the terrace until the bus came to take us to the airport. The owner's son seemed to me to have a learned speech, the one he gave us, and he didn't seem aware of how dangerous and disgusting it is to be with a rat in the room. At one point, his words were "You know.. here, it is normal" and after we gave him a bad look he said "it is not normal, but we try our best", which seems unacceptable to me for a 4 star hotel, not even for a one star. I still can't imagine what we experienced that night, but also in what an infected environment we stayed for 7 nights. At that hotel there were a lot of families with children who didn't even know what dangers were around them. I don't think I need to say how dangerous the rats are, how many diseases they can transmit, not only by their bite but also by the simple fact that we have lived for so many nights with one or many of them. I was deeply disappointed by this situation that I will certainly not forget. We do not say that you should not go there, but I think that you can make a good judgement after what we have been through and make a better choice:)

This place was probably nice once, perhaps when the minoans were about, but hasn't been invested in for a long time. Bali is a great destination and we had a good time in spite of the accommodation not because of it. - the pool was the colour of milk, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. - we booked for 5 people and looked like there would be 3 bedrooms. However there were only 2 meaning someone had to sleep in the kitchen/ living room. - there was only AC in one bedroom - when there was water (quite often there wasnt) it was a trickle and mostly only cold - no kettle, toaster etc. Tried to boil some water on the hob and gave up after 45 minutes - the bunk bed was unsafe. The slats under the top bunk weren't screwed down and one of them fell out when one of my kids got into bed. The safety rail to stop person in top bunk also not attached and dangerous. - food was generally OK but not inspiring - most of the staff looked like they would rather be someplace else although were pleasant. There wasn't really anyone in charge. - the hot tub looked like it had been dry for years -the bar area was similarly dry, in fact, closed. This place really must have been lovely at some point and all the infrastructure and visual appeal is still there. It just needs someone to invest a lot of money and care into the place to return it to its former glory.

The view from location is wonderful and all the buildings are very nice. Inside unfortunately is a improper smell, but the rooms are from the stones maybe it is normal. The noise of the upstairs room is uncomfortable. The food is not so apetising. Is ok, but some time you don't know you are in Greece. The pool smell's is exclusive chlorine, I don't like the smell. So if I telled you the good parts, now I will present the unpleasant facts. You don't have any signal on your phone so is not their fault, the location, the carrier but they don't have any WiFi in the room this is bad. Yes I need Internet. It is a poor infrastructure. Don't be scared by the distance for the beach, is ok. If I had known these details I would not have booked my stay here.

It's a tourist trap. Due to the vegetation and the stone houses, it looks like a beautiful location, but in fact things are just the other way around. I think the following things/services could be improved. Some examples would be: the heavy smell in the rooms - aired more often, replacing the extra armchairs as beds with real beds, changing the light bulb in the refrigerator in the room, cleaning the rooms daily because there are ants, spiders and house centipedes. Daily replenishment of toilet paper and shower accessories would be a nice thing to happen. At breakfast and dinner there was a heavy smell that sometimes greeted you upon entering. The cake cover is torn and dirty, the cereal jars are dirty, the cutlery and plates are sometimes dirty, the napkins are given with the portion, the coffee is more of a tea, the water dispenser can is old, and the food should be diversified. There was no zoo, just a few rabbits, 2 cats, a few turkeys, a horse and a pony, and the setting was sad and dusty. There are also owls that fly around the yard in the evening and catch mice. Unfortunately, the swimming pools are without water recirculation, and the playgrounds I saw were closed, probably to be renovated. The staff is apparently friendly until you call their attention that things are not ok. I am convinced that this location can look better and be at least 3 stars.
