Welcoming, warm yoga studio with the MOST AMAZING views! I have been happy to call Stone Wave Yoga, my yoga studio for the past year. I was relatively new to yoga a year ago and I wasn't quite sure if it was for me. Long story short - I go to yoga class every day and have been since the day I first came to Stone Wave. The quality of the teachers at Stone Wave are first rate - all of them bring different, amazing qualities to their classes. There are classes for everyone and every skill level. If you are thinking of taking a yoga class, I can't think of a better place . Plus - the VIEW!!

This summer, my girlfriends and I had a nice weekend getaway in the New Paltz area. We wanted to have a peaceful and restorative yoga session on our last morning of the trip, and Stone Wave Yoga sure delivered! Liz came to our rental and was able to socially distance while leading us beginners through a wonderful yoga session. Her session was challenging, but not too difficult, and was perfectly in tune with nature that surrounded us. She was excellent at communicating leading up to the visit and excellent at cuing during the session. Best of all, the session was affordable for our group-- I often find that some studios are prohibitively expensive, which only makes yoga feel inaccessible. Instead, this experience left us feeling included and refreshed.

Loving my experience with Stone Wave. I adore taking classes with Liz, Lisa & Michelledana!!! They have many more instructors and offerings. They are genuine, REAL, flexible and very supportive to each and everyone. I feel safe, loved, valued. They hold a space for the students to find their own path, guiding but not limiting. Stonewaveyoga is an absolute gem for anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate. The staff members are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had the pleasure of taking classes with Marisa, who is simply wonderful. She has a knack for helping you relax, stretch, and even teaches you about the benefits of essential oils. Marisa shared some amazing recipes, and we got to taste the most delicious vegan brownie—I couldn’t believe it was vegan! I can’t wait to find time to visit again. Gardiner, NY truly is a magical place.

I attended her yoga/oil/art workshop, and it was such a unique and rejuvenating experience. So happy we have a yoga studio in town! Stone Wave Yoga provides an amazing experience. The environment that Liz has created is incredibly welcoming to every student; offering spiritual classes, beginner classes, and not your average "yogi" classes. They even offer childcare at an extremely affordable rate (something I definitely take advantage of with my 3 year old!). Aaand as a 'not-your-average' yogi, I love the vibe that this studio offers; this place has such a sense of community. The setting is relaxing and peaceful, and the view is unreal; overlooking the Shawangunk Ridge. I always look forward to coming to class and know that I'll be supported whether I'm having a great day or am in need of encouragement. I most recently attended a class featuring a live guitarist and afterwards we enjoyed appetizers and wine together. SO excited for what the studio represents and for what the future holds here!

Amazing teacher and yogis of all levels We were introduced to this place when staying at Audrey's farmhouse, I think Michelle was our instructor and she was amazing, informative, and so helpful (I'm very new to yoga). They also do work our classes which I'm excited to try soon.

We booked a private yoga class for a bachelorette party off-site. The class was AMAZING and Amy was such a great teacher - she knew exactly how to teach to a bachelorette group, provided the mats/bolsters/blocks, and even brought the bride flowers. Could not recommend their private yoga classes enough for a bachelorette/big group!

I've been attending classes at Stone wave on and off for a couple of years now, and I cannot imagine a nicer or better run place for yoga. It's physically beautiful, the teachers are great, and they've done an excellent job of keeping things going and keeping them safe during the pandemic.

I recently spent a month in Gardiner and took yoga classes at Stone Yoga a few times a week while there. I love the owner and teacher Liz! Her yoga method is gentle while being a great stretch and tone workout. Liz runs you through a good variety of poses, and doesn't get repetitive like some instructors that have you doing downward dog over and over. I highly recommend her yoga instruction.
