Stonecroft Inn

The customer service is incredible. We were visiting on the hottest days of the summer, and had a bit of a temperature issue with our room. The manager and staff brought fans and anything we needed. Despite being sold out, they offered to change our room, but it wasn’t needed with the powerful fan we were given. I appreciated how quickly they aimed to solve the problem and weren’t happy unless we were. Our stay was great. The room was clean and quiet, and the location is great. Would stay here again 100%.

A very well kept property. Rooms are well appointed, beds very comfortable, the complimentary breakfast is simple (coffee, tea, juices, yogourt, bagels, english muffins, toast, fruit) and the breakfast room is very nice. Parking is plentiful. The location is ten minutes from the downtown core.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Our room was PERFECT….yes PERFECT! Sooooo Clean, Fabulous bed, Very spacious, Awesome blow dryer (which is rare in hotels), Did I mention how clean the hotel is??? I can’t understand any review less than a FIVE. The staff was friendly and helpful, the entire hotel and grounds are well maintained, we felt very safe in the location of the hotel, the continental breakfast is the true definition of an above average continental breakfast (btw..for those that don’t know what a continental breakfast is, typically it doesn’t include eggs and meat ;) not that I have ever had anything other than less then average eggs or meat at the “FREE” continental breakfast, so didn’t miss that at all. Stonecroft Inn was our 4th hotel on our trip and hands down the BEST as far as price , quality, cleanliness, comfort, location, and very friendly staff.

Less expensive than other comparables and superior. The room was great The shower had a lot of room. Attention to detail includes doors that do not slam shut. The front desk clerk was friendly and the house staff were polite with wonderful hospitality. They have a continental breakfast in a large updated space. I highly recommend Stomecroft In

I was stunned by this facility! It is everything you expect from 5-start hotels. It's clean, neat, excellently maintained, friendly, professional..etc. Spacious area for a morning international breakfast. Spacious bathroom. I stayed in a room with a king-size bed. It was super comfortable.

Comfortable quiet safe clean and accommodating . Stonecroft is very fortunate to have Frank managing . The staff also are excellent. The accommodations are first class all around and no doubt we will be back. Thank you to all the staff well done Stonecroft

Perfect stay, our second time here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent, friendly service at the front desk. Alisha recommended nearby restaurants and even made a reservation for us. We will definitely stay here again.

Possibly one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, in many years. Comfortable bed and pillows. Plush towels and decent toiletries. Hotel rooms never cater to female travellers and I really appreciated the backlit giant mirror with plenty of light. A bottle of water would be a nice touch. Continental breakfast basic but enough. Nespresso makes a commercial machine which would be a great addition! The coffee is not very good. Only complaint. He staff was very nice and obliging. Stayed 3 nights. Good location base.

Very friendly staff, clean hotel that isn't a chain. Serves the basic breakfast. Lots of parking. Out of the business of downtown but close enough an uber is around $25 one way. Free fast wifi, very comfortable bed!! Non smoking but didn't get side eyed for going out to the parking lot lol. Very quiet, quaint place.

Very nice local hotel in an area where this isn't much to do besides eating and shopping. The rooms were clean and the amenities were nice. Very affordable as well. Would love to go back.

The Stonecroft inn is a nicely remodeled motel. There are two levels and the hallways are indoors, small lobby area for check-in and a small breakfast room attached. The breakfast was quite small but everything was clean and fresh and organized very nicely. They had fresh coffee, juice, fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, and bagels. Parking was free and plentiful. It's kind of far away from downtown Windsor, but there is a large shopping area nearby with a Walmart. I enjoyed everything about my stay except for the fact that the Air and heating unit in the room was old and out dated and very loud and apparently the AC did not work because we had it set to 64 and it was hot in the room all night. But for a one night stay there was not much I could do about it.

I stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend. My bf and I booked a King Suite as the photos online showed that the hotel room came with a mini fridge + a microwave. We specifically booked this room for the microwave so we could buy food and reheat it later at night instead of having to go out late to buy food. We got to our room and noticed the room didn't have a microwave. We called the front desk and the lady said she would take a look into it for us. We went down to the front desk and showed the lady the website we booked it off of, and the photos of the room with the microwave. The lady told us that the photos we were looking at were actually from the Executive Room. She understood the inconvenience and switched our room to the one we originally thought we booked with the microwave. Other than that little mix up at the start, our stay here was great. The place was very clean, the rooms were pretty decent sized and modern, and the staff were super friendly. The beds are really soft and comfy as well. They also have complimentary breakfast from 6am to 10am. I would definitely stay here again. I recommend staying here if you're planning on going to Detroit for the weekend as hotels in Detroit can be pretty pricey and it's about a 15 minute drive from the border.

Love this place! We are going back this weekend The exterior is slightly understated but you can feel the care they placed to interior rooms. - Super clean - close to US tunnel - near restaurants and things to do - we enjoyed the downstairs bar/grill.. has a nice pub feel. - friendly staff - Tim Horton k-cups (my fav) - awesome price/value - not a chain hotel / boutique hotel - nice bedding (I slept so good) - good room design Cons (these are super minor points) - breakfast is pretty boring - uses old school room key (which I was afraid I would lose, and it was a little bulky) - no view

This place has some of the best rooms in town! All the rooms are recently renovated, and everything is clean. The beds are really soft, so that may be a pro or con depending on how you sleep. If a nice bathroom is important to you, then this place is almost unmatched! Nice walk in showers with plenty of space, and they have been kept CLEAN! Another plus is I hate shower curtains and the shower has a glass door which is a plus in regards to cleanliness. All in all great rooms, the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was enough to get you on your way. The price has gone up, but honestly it's still fair when compared to places like best western etc. Will return again!

I arrived early and was able to get an early check in thanks to Robert at the front desk. Room was immaculate and very comfortable! Pillows and bed was plush. I appreciate the small bottles of body wash, shampoo, etc. Towels were nice and stainless/fresh. I really like this hotel! The only thing is, its not as close to Detroit as I thought and getting back amd forth to Detroit is expensive, as uber and lyft don't go across the border.

Nice enough place, the pub is awesome... but something was kicking off my allergies really bad.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! My BF and I spent almost a week here and the hospitality was nothing short of the best and most amazing. The room I booked was exactly what I saw online, right down to the pictures that were hanging on the wall. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but there was enough of a variety that we ate there almost every morning. Bagels were fresh, coffee was fresh, bananas were ripe and ready to eat, they had a few kinds of cereals, orange juice, apple juice, milk, yogurt and a variety of flavored oatmeal and sliced breads for toast. The rooms were super clean and the bed was ABSOLUTELY comfy! One of the most comfortable beds we've slept in while traveling. Every one was super nice, friendly and very, very hospitable. Sue and Robert were so kind and funny.... they truly are the face of hostility for Stonecroft. Lastly, there is a WalMart Super Center on the same street a 4 minute walking distance according to GPS which was nice. We also took the bus to downtown.... a single bus (no transfers needed) that goes through the town and dropped us off at the terminal by the river and the bus stop is maybe 3-4 yards away from the Stonecroft front entrance. Bus fare was $9 for 2 of us (Uber was going to cost $40). There are so many restaurants within a 1/2 mile radius, everything we needed was within walking distance, no exaggeration. We have family in Windsor now and will DEFINITELY be booking here again! A big shout out to Sue and Robert - The both of you are fabulously amazing! Thank you for everything!!

Great value! Very comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms are renovated and clean. The front desk staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. They have ample parking and the restaurant below has very good food. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, which includes a small seating area, some breads and spreads, juices and coffee of course.

I like this place. For how affordable it is, it is very well done. The rooms were clean and a fair size and the shower and bathroom was beautiful, like 5 star hotel beautiful. They have free wifi and the front desk was nice and friendly when we arrived. The beds were comfortable but the room took a long time to warm up. I prefer places like this to big name hotels. I would have liked to have nicer towels and more blankets. I did not request towels so i cannot judge thier service on that but I did run out. They had free breakfast but after a night on the town I missed it. I would suggest breakfast going until at least 11am ( checkout time) so that the guests can indulge. The checkout was easy and painless. There were actual keys instead of card keys which is a cute touch in my opinion gave it a homey feel but i can see how that could easily get expensive for the guest if they lost it.

Good location, affordable and beautiful rooms. I read the first review and I think rooms have been updated since the reviewer visited or they had older rooms that had not been remodeled. Beautiful set up and the staff is really nice. This establishment deserves more reviews and does a better job than some of these overpriced 5 star hotels. They offer breakfast in the morning and parking is always available. Great breakfast locations available as the location is right in the middle of town. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place and trying to save some money.

We booked for two nights and they tried to kick us out after half a night and charge us for two full nights... I'm not impressed with the customer service and will not be returning.

Absolutely wonderful. Nothing bad to say here! A friend and I decided on a spur of the moment trip to Caesars, and we definitely didn't want to stay in the casino. I reserved online the day of, with no problem, though i had a hard time getting off work so we arrived around 11pm for check in. Staff was wonderful and friendly--wish I caught his name!--even with our super late arrival. Room was wonderful--especially for the price! Hotel was convieniently located without being right in noisy downtown. Will definitely be back for our next spontaneous trip.
