The lodge was fantastic. The breakfast was great (get there early as they can run out). The Keurig coffee on the dag we left earlier than breakfast was fantastic. We had 2 full beds and a twin bed. The room had plenty of space. It was even nicer than I expected. We really enjoyed staying here. The staff was very polite and helpful.

First, the positive: Accomodations in July on a weekend, very young but some of the staff was cheerful and helpful. ||I am not very picky at all, but some things you should know: their snack bar ("restaurant") was out of pizzas and a few other items. Despair and hunger left me with a $17 cheeseburger. Their little mini mart has about 5 frozen entrees for sale and the lobby has a microwave. So I am very glad I brought my own snacks, which is why I lived on.||"Breakfast" was a container of strawberries, one of blueberries to wash, cut and split between guests. Yogurt. Various sliced breads (no toaster) and jams. Shout out to the guests walking around with their instant oat meal in a bowl, but without milk or hot water. There was individual cereal contsinets, but again, no milk. Near the microwave (in another room) was a carton of liquid eggs, not sure if we were supposed to make our own. Coffee .... is a single Keurig machine for all the guests. No, it was not too early, we were tild breakfast would be available at 7.30, and it was past that. Now, to be fair, the second morning I could smell hot items being prepared but I did nor bother, I wanted to get out of there. ||The room: Adequate. Mine was unfortunately close to the kitchen vent, so the smells waffed inside, but not for long.||There are notes in room or bathroom that hot water can take up to 15 mns to come through the pipes, and I didn't find it to be true. It was scalding right away. || No nightstand lamp, just the ceiling light.||Only electrical outlet I found was across the room from the bed (your own extention cord is recommended)||No WiFi (there is, but it is open, so I believe the campgrounds around also use it)|Verizon performed better than TMobile in the surroundings.||Bed was facing the door, and the lights from the hallway comes through all around it. It didn't bother me, but maybe it would bother you. |My room was also close to a generator or what have you, so there was a constant hum. It was also facing the highway, which is much busier than you would think. I am including the "view" from my bedroom, where some employees come to discuss guests or the state of the common bathroom in colorful language (I believe my room was the closest slto the lodge where employees stay). Oh, and you could sand a couple of trees down with the toilet paper. So, grateful I could find accommodations on a weekend in July, but this place was not worth the $600 price tag for 2 nights.||

Stony Creek Lodge is anything but comfortable, quiet, and cute as the pictures online deceive it to be. My family and I arrived to stay there one evening and were immediately in a state of terrible shock by the state of the exterior building. It is literally falling apart. We thought maybe the inside would be nicer, but we were quickly mistaken. It looks more like a gas station checkout than a lodge check in/lobby. We had two rooms reserved, one of them being the only room on the first floor. Both rooms had stained carpets, walls, and bed comforters. Three of us had been sitting in the first floor room for less than 10 minutes when we saw a large mouse run across the floor and go into one of the beds. When we looked under the bed, the box spring was falling apart and looked as though it had been chewed through by something. When we went to the front desk person, he was no help and told us we would have no chance in getting our money back if we left. Well we did leave, were offered help to find a new spot to stay by another park lodge, and got our money back. Safe to say that the employees were rude, unhelpful, and quite possibly on something. Save yourself the trip and money by not staying there, it should be condemned.

Great location, comfortable bed, decent sized room. Very expensive for what it is, which is an older motel style room where the heater pilot light needed to be turned off completely since the Thermostat didn't work. Thin walls. Small bathroom. Surprisingly good pizza and breakfast though! I would recommend the restaurant. I interacted with 4 different staff and all were incredibly friendly. They're doing the best they can with an aging facility.

I can't tell much about the lodging as I was not a guest there. However، there is a gas station, which is the only has station in the 40 mile radius, and it saved our butts. I had a half-full tank of gas before entering the Sequoia National Park thinking it would be enough. Well, after we drove around in the park, the tank was empty - only 5 miles left. I was very fortunate to be close to this gas station. I refilled the tank and went to the Lodge Creek store and they had everything we needed. Good place in the middle of nowhere.

Think grandpa's cabin. That's what I thought when I checked in. The Stoney Creek Lodge very cabin like, dark woods with beamed ceilings. The rugs have been there for a while but have that authentic look. Our room was very functional. It had all you need but not fancy. Didn't need to be. |A shout out to the young staff who were eager to please. Complimentary breakfast was very good. If you want to be between two National Parks this location is perfect!

Quiet place to stay between Sequoia & Kings Canyon NPs. Bed was comfy. Pillows were foam & not to my liking but still slept well. Scrambled eggs & bacon every morning. Ample choice for toast. Not much cereal. Overall nice place to stay. Staff friendly!

Old lodge with basic amenities, which is fine for the park. There is gas and air for cars, a small food market and gift shop. Squirrels were in the walls and could access our room through the wall heater, which we were surprised to find on our first night. Breakfast was good with real eggs, bacon , juices and cereal. I would recommend this place as it’s close to both park visitor centers. Staff was awesome.

Yelp
Location: 5/5, right in the middle of the park, super close to all the hiking trails, close to both sequoia and kings canyon Price: 2/5, incredibly expensive for one night Room: 4/5, comfy, large beds, large bathroom with all the amenities, needed heater even in summer and it worked well Breakfast: 1/5, went an hour before it ended and it was demolished, no one was checking on it, when we asked them to make more bacon they did but it took about 20 mins, there wasn't that much to choose from, I expected more for the price of the room Staff: 4/5, very friendly and helpful, didn't take initiative with breakfast
