"Minutes from Belfast City Centre and yet adjacent to the immaculately maintained wooded landscape of the Stormont Estate, the Stormont Hotel offers both luxury urban chic and country comfort in one. The 105 bedrooms are bright and spacious, modern in décor with King Koil “cloud beds” that are as comfortable as the name suggests, and good-sized bathrooms and views encompassing the Castlereagh Hills, Stormont Parliament Buildings, and the Newtownards Peninsula. Decorated in warm colours, ESPA toiletries, deep tubs the Stormont is all about casual luxury and relaxation. You’ll often find journalists and politicians in residence due to its location but also families here to simply switch off and chill. In typical Belfast style, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and room service is 24 hours, an increasingly rare phenomenon these days. Best of all, the Stormont is the perfect base to explore the magnificent gardens, stately homes, beaches, and heritage sites of County Down." - Ramsay Short

Stayed at this hotel as part of a coach trip. Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location. Nice comfortable rooms which are kept nice and clean and replenished with new items when needed. All staff are friendly and polite and can’t do enough for you. Mostly extremely young staff who are a credit to the hotel. The reason for dropping a star on the service is due to inadequate catering for vegetarians. No mention of a vegetarian meal on the menu each night. Constantly having to mention 2 people in our party are vegetarians and then having discussions about what can be prepared by the chef. The meals we were given were completely lacking in imagination and disappointing to say the least. I’ve been a vegetarian for over 40 years and not come across this before. This shouldn’t happen in 2025. Goodness knows how vegans would fare. To finish on a high we had a lovely meal at lunchtime in the hotel, which we thoroughly enjoyed. All in all - a lovely hotel with fantastic staff - just let down by a lack of imagination for vegetarians. Highly recommend.

Have just had a 3 night stay at the Stormont, and was really impressed with the feel and quality of the hotel. |Check in was easy, the lady on the desk was really helpful (am sorry I forgot her name!) my room was clean, well stocked and the bed was really comfy!|Breakfast food was great, if at times quite hectic, with not enough tables available for people to sit straight away. |I ate in the bar area twice and the food was good, arrived quickly and was reasonably priced, my only criticism would be there never appeared to be enough staff about to get drinks at the bar or ask for extras once the meal had arrived, but that still didn’t spoil the stay. |I would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time while visiting Belfast. The Stormont Hotel was a great place to rest, eat, and relax after a long day on the road. The hotel was beautiful and the lobby and bar made for a comfortable place to gather with new friends. The customer service given by Conor was above and beyond normal duties. Not many workers would offer their coat to a cold North American guest. Conor always made sure we had everything we needed. His personality made it a pleasure to be around. One thing is for sure, he is very good at his job and you can tell he enjoys his work. Thank you Coner for making us feel welcome in Belfast!!!

I use the stormont several times a month whilst on business, and it’s always a fantastic stay. The rooms are homely, beds are comfortable & comes with great amenities. I’m also very fortunate to almost always be welcomed by the ever smiling Garima on reception, who is brilliant.

Lovely 4 star hotel, right opposite the Stormont building with a frequent bus service into Belfast. The staff were smartly dressed, pleasant and very helpful, particularly Thomas from reception who helped us with the safe in our room and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent buffet style. The dinner at night from a limited menu for our coach party was waiter served. More variety of vegetables would have been nice.

Day 12 - 13 of our Ireland tour at the Stormont was great. Best hotel on our stay yet. Very nice room with comfy bed, decent breakfast with large selection, very nice bar and social area, huge easy access parking lot. A standout though was Thomas that we met at reception. Fine young man, very knowledgeable and kind to answer all the questions we had AND he was everywhere! Behind the bar later, delivered me a “top sheet” for the bed (it’s an American Midwest thing I guess) and we saw him helping in the dining room later! Thank you Thomas!

The Sunday carvery is excellent. One can have as much or as little as they want. The variety of starters is amazing, and very delicious. Then you move on to the main course and it is also very good. If after that you have room for dessert you are definitely spoilt for choice. I have never seen as many desserts anywhere. Truly amazing and again very delicious. The waiters are all very pleasant , polite and well trained . We will be back.
