Storms River Forest Lodge

This accommodation does not look like the pictures on the website and we were very disappointed with our room that was very basic. First of all, there was no protection bars on the top bunk bed so my child had to sleep on the floor as they could not offer us another solution. Then we experienced light issues in our room and bathroom.. The walls were also very thin, so you could hear everything in the other rooms. The common areas downstairs (kitchen and bar area) were quite dirty and stank of cigarettes. On the positive side, the staff was very nice and helpful and the service was good. The village around is very pretty too and close to Tsitsikamma National Park so that was great!

What a treat to have found this place along the Garden Route close to Xmas. The setting is pure bliss... peaceful with well maintained gardens and lawn. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the owner is even more so. I wish I could say that I will be back, but the drive from Durban makes that improbable. It's a perfect place to be in order to enjoy the nearby Tsitsikamma activities. Plenty to do even if you're just chilling at the lodge.. pool table, playing cards, swing ball, hammock, volleyball...

Absolutely lovely hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are neat and clean. There's a pool table, cards, board games, volleyball and swing ball available. As well as hammocks and braai areas. Peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere.

We stayed at Stormsriver Forest Lodge for three nights. We were greeted warmly on arrival and helped with any questions we had (including a call to the mini-market, which was still open even though we were late). The following days we were always greeted in a friendly and personalised manner and also given recommendations and suggestions for a great time in Tsitsikamma. The rooms were clean and were cleaned almost daily, were very well equipped and were the best during our trip so far. The kitchen and lounge are also above average and round off the experience. We can definitely recommend Stormsriver Forest Lodge as accommodation!

Awesome, friendly staff. We lived the breakfast. The family room was perfect for our 4 kids. The property had great views.

Wonderfull and piece full with stunning bonfire in the winter. Playing pool in the pub is the best.

Michelle is very friendly and helpful , my wife and I enjoyed the camping experience. I would definitely book again.

Some of the nicest people I've ever met run this place The son Matthew and his mother really do a great job of making you feel at home and comfortable made us Texans feel right at home
