I had dinner at Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and it was a truly magical experience from start to finish. The meal began with shared appetizers, including the Hunter's Harvest, Smoky Mushroom Bisque, and Wicked Shrimp Cocktail, all flavorful and well-prepared. For the main course, the Prime Rib and Pork Shank were both absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The character interactions were a big highlight, with Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy stopping by the table for fun and photos. To top off the evening, dessert was a treat, especially the “Poison” Apple, a dark chocolate-apple mousse that was as tasty as it was beautifully presented. Meeting the Evil Queen and posing for a photo with her added an extra bit of Disney magic to the night. Overall, it’s a great place for a unique and entertaining dining experience, especially if you love great food and character moments!

Google
Food Indulge in a delightful dinner that appeals to the entire family, featuring appearances from beloved Disney Characters from the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We enjoyed shared appetizers and desserts while choosing our individual entrees, opting for fish and steak. While I appreciated the variety of appetizers, they didn't quite appeal to my husband, and it’s worth noting that substitutions are not allowed. The food was fresh and flavorful; however, the inability to customize your entire meal makes the price a bit steep if the options provided aren't to your liking. Service The waitress was friendly, engaging, and efficient. I even filled out a cast member compliment form for her, as she made sure we were well taken care of. Certain characters come to your table for photos and autographs, and you'll receive an invitation to meet the Evil Queen, with a Photo Pass photographer on hand to capture the moment. Note you will not see all the dwarfs. Atmosphere The dining room is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. I sat at the edge of the space, but you can request a table further inside to fully appreciate the decor.

Google
Actually really unique dining experience. Weird mix of chucks e cheese, Michelin fine dining, family fun and Disney character dining, but it actually worked out well. It’s obviously very expensive, even though food beat my expectations they definitely charge fine dining prices (esp for kids) even though it’s not that fine. But the kids absolutely loved their meals and character experience. The cocktails were also very creative but a bit sugar heavy

Google
Dude, you have to check this out! Loved Snow White. The evil queen was perfect and put on a good show. Dopey and Grumpy were adorable. If you can, do bring an autograph book, I was hesitant at first to bring one to Disney but these autographs were everything. The kids just loved it. Oh, and, the food! Such a cool format, you just order your entree and they bring enough appetizers and desserts for the whole table to share. They were all really good and it was cool to taste all of the selection. It was also smart to make the whole meal process super easy. There is so much planning with a Disney vacay, it was great to just let go and have a great experience. The service was also top notch!

Google
Such a wonderful time! Great server, food was delicious, Character and Snow White theme continued through the decor, food and serving plates, and the characters were very accessible. Well planned out with each table getting an " invitation" from the wicked queen for photos so not standing in line while good gets cold! Everyone was so friendly, so very accommodating, and just lovely! The queen kept her scowl and comments perfectly in character throughout! So much fun! Food was EXCELLENT! EVERYTHING! YUM! Will definitely go back again! We had a great time!

Google
So we decided to Disney bound as the Evil Queen. Atmosphere was amazing it feels like you are in a forest. Table themed. I thought you see all the dwarfs but it's just two, Snow White and a photo with the Evil Queen. Food was lacking, some were good and just okay. It did make me sick the next day. Drinks were the highlight of the meal. I went the two most popular enchanted apple and some evil blueberry drink. I don't plan to go back but the character interactions were top tier. Obviously your paying for the characters attend than the food and it shows.

Google
Amazing magical place to meet Snow White grumpy dopey and even the evil queen herself! Delicious menu with lots to eat and enjoy! My fave drink is the enchanted apple! The prime rib and fish dishes were winners at my table. Cute place to go for a special celebration or even a fine dining dinner!

Google
Out of this world experience! From walking in the entrance of the Wilderness Lodge to the way the shared appetizers and desserts were served to the Queen in all her glory! I’m a Villian girl ;). They have plant based options on every menu so that’s a A+ for our family! It is pricey but it is an experience.

Yelp
Fantastic dining experience but you really come here for the characters. The food was on par for the course, but having to interact with the characters was priceless. The setting was absolutely fantastic that feeling of actually been in the forest with Cinderella and the dwarves. And if you're lucky you get to see the queen! Very whimsical experience. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Like other storybook dining events I've gone to, this was a blast! It was so fun here, especially if you enjoy dressing up, meeting Disney characters and eating whimsical dishes and drinks. Hard to get reservations but if you plan ahead and start looking about 2 months in advance you might be able to land one. To start off, I enjoyed the mushroom soup in their mini cauldron. The pork shank entree was SOOO good, truly to die far... that meat fell right off the bone. Kids were eating off my plate. Kid's food was so-so. The desserts were so cute and tend to be on the sweet side. Topped off with a surprise chest of more sweets! I did enjoy my refreshing cocktail, Evil to the core (sweet & spicy from the habanero!) Service was great, and they were able to add 1 more person to my party of 5 at the door. Also, all Snow White characters truly played their part well, especially the Evil Queen! Worth every penny to experience it. While at the Wilderness Lodge, take advantage of the scavenger hunt which will take you around the resort. My kids left very happy!

Yelp
This is a fantastic character dinner experience at Walt Disney World! A perfect combination of delicious food and Disney magic. I love that this is an upscale sit down dinner while also getting to interact with characters from Snow White. I feel like there is something for everyone on the menu and our server was extremely helpful with her recommendations and substitutions (plain mashed potatoes instead of horseradish, etc.). She made sure we all loved our food and had a great experience!! The restaurant is charming - the trees decorating the space and the music and lighting when the characters come out is so fun! Loved it!

Yelp
We did Story Book for our 25th anniversary dinner. I was a little worried about doing a character meal for a romantic dinner, so we made an 8:15 reservation hoping most of young kids would be done. Not so however. We were one of the few tables without kids, but it didn't matter as it turned out. Restaurant noise was no different than any other Disney table service option. We both got the Enchanted Apple cocktail, which was really nice, not too strong. With the price fixed appetizers, I only really liked the Hunters Harvest. Mushroom bisque and shrimp cocktail were both sophisticated and well presented, but just not for me being a fussy eater generally. Entrees were Prime Rib, which was excellent and came with a nice surprise - - garlic butter popover, which was amazing! Brothers Grimm Herb Chicken was also excellent. Perfectly cooked and juicy. Dessert assortment was adorable and delicious. I can't talk enough about the cookies and cream panna cotta. Unbelievable!!!! If you enjoy anything cookies and cream, you'd love it!! We were on the Disney dining plan, so counted as 2 table service credits each. So not the most economical use of the dining plan, but it was worth it!

Yelp
Such a cool restaurant located in Wilderness Lodge Resort Hotel. First, the food was delicious and perfectly themed for the forest like atmosphere. We got to meet Snow White, Grumpy, and Dopey. We also took a picture with the Evil Queen. I love that the dessert was comprised of poison apples and gooseberry pie. It also came with cookies and cream pannacotta which was amazing! Highly recommend this character dining experience.

Yelp
What a lovely character dining experience! My family recently dined here for the second time. My husband and I really enjoyed this location back when it was Artist's Pointe and I am happy to say that they kept the mushroom soup and Pacific Northwest Wine list that was featured on that menu. Now, however, you are transported to an enchanted forest where you have the opportunity to interact with Snow White, Grumpy, and Dopey. You also get an invitation to meet the Queen when you finish your meal. The character interactions were fantastic. My child was so gleeful and excited to see Snow White and the dwarves. He was a bit hesitant about the Queen, which really surprised me, but I guess she was too intimidating for him and he refused to take a photo with "the bad guy" as he said. The timing wasn't great for meeting the queen. We received our "invitation" to meet the queen at the end of our meal and when we went to meet her she was gone and they told us it would be 15 minutes before she returned and that we should go back and wait at our table. Well, that meant we had to sit for another 15 minutes after finishing our meal, paying our bill and everything. It also meant our server could not get another table for 15+ minutes so it really stunk for everyone involved. The food was good, but it could have been better. Most importantly, it felt rushed. Our server came by and told us everyone gets the same appetizer and dessert we just choose our entrée. She said the fish of the day was salmon and the pork shank was the most popular item. Then she disappeared before we could ask questions or order drinks. Then they immediately brought our appetizer. This may seem silly to some, but it is a real pet peeve of mine. You should always have your beverage before you have food and it really contributed to my feeling rushed through my meal. As far as the appetizers go they are meatballs, mushroom bisque, and shrimp cocktail. The meatballs are pretty good and the mushroom bisque is quite good and I don't even like mushrooms, but they weren't hot so that is a real bummer. Soup, especially, should be hot. For entrees, my husband ordered the salmon and I ordered the pork shank. On our previous visit, pre-Covid I had the prime rib and I like prime rib, but sometimes you get a piece that it too fatty or under seasoned so I decided to try something new. I enjoyed my dish and thought it probably deserved its spot as the most popular dish. My husband said the salmon was just ok. He said it seemed like they tried too hard and tried to put too many flavors on what is a really beautiful and delicious cut of fish on its own. The kids menu here is sparse; grilled chicken, grilled fish, or kids prime rib. My little one wasn't eating any of that, sadly :( Our server offered up some chicken nuggets and mac n cheese which is more my kids speed, but they weren't nuggets, they were fingers and the noodles weren't mac either so I paid $40 for my kid to eat like 3 bites of "mac n cheese." I just have to remind myself it is as much about the character experience as it is the food. Ugh. For dessert they bring out these cute apples made of chocolate mousse, cookies and cream panna cotta, and huckleberry pie. You also get a piece of dark chocolate from the huntsman chest. A+ for presentation. The desserts are gorgeous. However, if you are not a chocolate person, then 3/4 desserts are happening for you and I think that is a problem. I don't love chocolate, but I'll eat some. I thought the panna cotta was good. It reminds me a bit of the grey stuff at Be our Guest. The chocolate mousse and dark chocolate heart were too much chocolate for me and the huckleberry pie was way too tart. Overall, the environment is gorgeous, the character interactions were really good and the food had some both hits and misses.

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant. Every single bite of food is amazing. I took my server's recommendation to get the signature dish, the roasted pork, and it was splendid. It was fall off the bone tender, on a gorgeous bed of polenta. My vegetarian friend enjoyed the "Tricken" Chicken. Meeting the Queen in my Snow White Disneybound was delightful as she was not pleased with me at all. Our photos are hilarious as she could not stop her disgust for me. I loved it! Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy made their way to meet us at our table. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful. The cast members are amazing.

Erick W.

Yelp
This is a great meal with fantastic characters! Grumpy is one of my favs - Snow White is awesome too! The decor is cool and the food is excellent. Dopey usually makes an appearance too!

Kari C.

Yelp
This dining experience took forever because they ran out of an entree that we ordered and supposedly had to defrost another. The hostess was beyond amazing, the server was palpable, but I'd prefer not to do it again. Furthermore, there is no direct transport back to the Polynesian from here, so if coming from there, reconsider. Overall ok experience but I wouldn't choose it again for a special celebration dinner.

Yelp
Honest review of artists point for anyone on the fence!! Food was fabulous. The appetizers were tiny, but they did bring one for each of us, including my daughter who got a kids meal. the mushroom bisque was by far the best. I got the beef stroganoff and it was so fresh tasting! It was definitely vinegar based so just be aware if you aren't a fan of that. They asked if I wanted a complimentary portion of either Mac and cheese or mashed potatoes for my 9 month old. My 4 year old loved the appetizer! She got mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and grilled chicken. She gave the chicken to her brother. Desserts were fun and on theme. The panna cotta was the best. Negatives-not sure I'd get a cocktail again. They were so hyped up here, and I got the enchanted apple and my husband got the smoking mirror. They were tiny and nothing spectacular in my opinion for $15 cocktails. I didn't even get a slight buzz and I'm a lightweight . The characters were fabulous but seemed very rushed (meal in general did). They were super in character the whole time, but felt we were scrambling to get pics taken before they moved on. The queen called you up to get pics and everyone else came to the table. My daughter was scared of everyone but Snow White, but her face when she saw her made it all worth it. She gasped and said "she's beautiful!" Was a really fun experience I'm glad we did once, especially since we are staying at wilderness lodge, but not sure we'd do again or leave a park early to do it.

Yelp
From start to finish, this was a magical meal! This is a tough Disney reservation to get, so we were thrilled to score one on our recent trip! There were 4 of us and we were seated right at our reservation time. The decor is elegant and beautiful! You meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen! You never get to meet Dopey, Grumpy, and the queen in the parks, so this is the place to go if you love Snow White and/or rare character meet and greets! They come around to your tables and there are also moments where the restaurant comes alive and there are some fun moments where the characters act out the story! Now onto the food and drinks. This is a flat rate for a 3 course meal, including soft drinks. Alcohol is an extra charge. Everyone gets appetizers and desserts to share and choice of an entree. My favorite appetizer was the mushroom soup! Probably one of the best soups I have ever had. I wish the bowl was bigger. My entree was one of the best dishes I have had at Disney. I got the vegetarian gnocchi. The gnocchi was parisian style, so pan seared. The sauce was off the chart! All the flavors combined to make the perfect dish. The desserts were adorable and we loved them all! My fav was the chocolate mousse served inside the apple chocolate shell. I almost forgot about the drinks! I had the Evil to the Core cocktail and it was so delicious! It was a great version of a spicy margarita. Overall, this restaurant is perfect for kids and kids at heart! Yes, it is pricey, but it is worth it for the fabulous food and unforgettable character experience!

Yelp
This meal was a splurge for my trip but it was fantastic! All of the characters came to our table and spent a good amount of time interacting with us. Our server even made sure that we had seen Dopey, Grumpy, and Snow White before giving us our "invitation" to meet the Queen. All four characters were great but the Evil Queen was the best. She was hysterical. The food was outstanding as well. My friend has a shellfish sensitivity so our server brought us cucumber salad in addition to the appetizer trio. The pork shank entree was worth writing home about. It was so flavorful and tender. The meat practically fell off the bone. My friend's beef stroganoff was a generous portion with nice flavors, but we found it odd that the vegetables on top were cold. She said it was great but she'd order something else next time. The desserts were also great and themed well. The gooseberry pie was the standout among the three. If you're going to drink, I highly recommend the enchanted apple. It's so good and smooth that I ordered two. Yes, this meal is pricey. With two alcoholic drinks and a tip, my meal for one adult was $120. But I have no regrets and would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Kim T.

Yelp
Go Hungry! I have to say that first off we had an amazing server Ida. She was so patient and informative and by far one of the best servers that we have ever had here at Disney. We got lucky enough to get an awesome table and the food was delicious. The characters ( Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey and the Evil Queen were great. They all come around to the tables except for the Queen. You can take a pix with her in front of a backdrop. I highly recommend this dining experience. I believe it was $65 a person. What a fun experience.

Tanya M.

Yelp
While the cast member who checked us in was wonderful, I've found many restaurants like this one, Be Our Guest, and a few other are always running behind. We had to wait 40 minutes past our reservation time. When your reservation is originally at 8:30pm, the 40 minutes is a big difference. Our server was absolutely magical though. He was the sweetest and most thoughtful person. The interactions with all the characters was amazing too. Our server and the characters definitely get 5 stars. The food was another story. It wasn't anything special. It's a fairly limited menu and not a whole lot of variety. With everything totaled, it was about $90 per person. I honestly wouldn't have even paid $30 per person for the whole meal. The food was disappointing, but I guess you're really paying for the characters. I have found most character dining in Disney world isn't worth the price. The number of characters is always so small and the food quality sorely lacks. The only two character dinings we tried that were delicious were Tusker House in Animal Kingdom for breakfast and Hollywood & Vine for lunch in Hollywood Studios. Those were both amazing, lots of variety, tasty, and a fun experience. I wouldn't waste anytime on this restaurant unless you really want pictures with the evil Queen, grumpy and dopey, and Snow White. The only part of the meal that was 5 star was the cookies n cream panna cotta. That was one of the best desserts we have had in Disney World. The mushroom bisque soup was tasty too, but such a small portion. I rather be able to choose one of the appetizers with a normal portion than 3 bite sized portions of different appetizers that may not be as appealing. Overall, I give the whole dining experience from start to finish 3 stars. While the service and one of the desserts were amazing, it's not worth the hefty price or our time. Are we glad we tried it? Yes. Would we go back? Never.

Mercedes T.

Yelp
I love it! The food! The service! The view! The Disney characters!!! I will definitely be back! It's not just for kids!!!

Ida R.

Yelp
Best Disney character dinner by far, the whole experience is amazing, the food is excellent and the service and entertainment always on point, make sure you save room for desserts because they are delish and the ambiance by far is truly the best!

Theresa L.

Yelp
Have not even heard of this one until it popped up in the reservations! I am so glad I booked this place. It is situated in the wilderness resort. Decorated very pretty! Loved the tree lazy Susan on the table! We were seated promptly at our reservation time. To start I had the smoking mirror (it was pretty good). My husband had the a brew of peaches (this one was good, kind of like an old fashion). They bring you appetizer to start, mushroom bisque (so good), shrimp cocktail, and hunter pie. For entree I picked the pork shank and wow that was so good, falls off the bone, over a bed of mashed potatoes. (One of the best dishes I have had at Disney). My husband had the prime rib and he said it was delicious also. If your still hungry you could ask for more food! For dessert they bring you miners treasure, poison apple (it was like a chocolate mousse, this one was my favorite), and gooseberry tart (very tasty!), and to end they also bring you chocolate in the shape of a heart! On top of this delicious food, you get to meet Snow White, grumpy and dopey who comes to your table! The evil queen also makes an appearance and she stands in the middle of the place and you can go up and take pics with her!! She was so in character! Loved her!!! I would highly recommend this character meet dining experience! Amazing food!! Loved it!

Alicia W.

Yelp
This place is an absolute hit! This was a fantastic experience with the characters and the food was yummy too!! Beef stroganoff was outstanding. It doesn't look as traditional as you would think but it's absolutely delicious! Mushroom bisque was really tasty too as well as the Bloody Mary shrimp. Highly recommend getting a reservation.

Emma D.

Yelp
I absolutely loved story book! I thought the presentation of the food was great and truly on theme. The appetizers were delicious. The mushroom soup was my favorite, I could of eaten 5 of them. The kids appetizers were fun but the flavors on them could of been separated a little better. My daughter had cookie crumble on the cheese. The main courses were great. The kids prime rib portion was HUGE. My daughter who rarely eats fish are all her salmon and my pork shank was cooked perfect fall off the bone. The characters came by multiple times. I ordered 1 glass of wine for my self the total bill with tip was $180 but for a Disney meal and portion sizes I feel it was worth it.

Erica N.

Yelp
Okay if I could eat anything over and over it would be this meal, everything on the plate was clean after we left nothing behind. The best food ever it so too good so perfectly cooked we ate everything!!! Character dining was so fun and the service was amazing our server was awesome and paid full attention to us despite how hectic it was

Robert H.

Yelp
So, we have been to many a different dining experience at Disney. We have even been here before. Sadly, I would not recommend this dining experience. It is overly expensive, the food is the worst I have had in all of my many Disney dining experiences. On top of that, the character portion use to be way more interactive and now it's just kinda there. It's really just a few pics. It worth $400 for a party of 5.

Desiree A.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are huge Disney fanatics, so he took me to the character meal at Artist Point (located in Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort) to celebrate Valentine's Day. I enjoyed every single aspect of the meal! This set-priced meal ($55 for adults) is beautifully presented and starts with four mini appetizers: winter squash bisque, wicked shrimp cocktail and Hunter's pie (basically a chicken meat pie). I don't eat shrimp, but my boyfriend said that it was pretty good. I normally detest anything squash based but I loved the soup so much, that I finished off my boyfriend's portion since he ate my shrimp. The Hunter's pie was okay (meat pies aren't really my thing, but my boyfriend liked it). For our entrees, I chose the "Brother's Grimm Roasted Chicken" and my boyfriend chose the prime rib. We both loved what we ordered but I told him to hurry up as I kept seeing the desert trays pass us by and I wanted some! The array of desserts were yummy (I feel as though this is a more powerful word than "delicious" at this point)! For an extra treat, our waitress brought us a smoking (dry ice) treasure box of maple popcorn and a ganache heart - representing the Hunter's gift to the queen. During our meal, Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy paid a visit (separately). Grumpy was my favorite character to interact with even though Dopey is my favorite dwarf and Snow White is my favorite princess. Towards the end of our meal, the Evil Queen made an appearance and we stood in line (our waitress let us know when the line was short) to get her autograph and have our picture taken with her. An "A+" experience all around!

Yelp
I think this restaurant is a solid 4 maybe 4.5. It's Disney and they do a fantastic job as always. I love the ambiance when you walk in. It makes you feel like your in the woods or as if it were a rustic type of environment. The details on the trees or table centerpieces were so perfect and complimented each other very well. The staff is wonderful. We had the most sweetest waitress. Her name was Liliana and I will be requesting her anytime we do go here. The only reason I didn't give this place 4 stars is the inconsistency with the food. The appetizers are okay. You get three sampling style apps. We had a meatball pastry app, which was decent. We also had the Wicked Shrimp Cocktail and the Wild Mushroom Bisque. My husbands and I really enjoyed the Meatball pastry they had. The shrimp was pretty good as well. I was the only one who truly enjoyed the Mushroom Bisque at our table. My kids don't mind mushrooms, but it was a bit strong for them and my husband doesn't do mushrooms in general. The kids get their own app. I unfortunately didn't get a picture of it, but it comes with bread and honey butter, veggies to dip in ranch, fresh fruit and cheese and these little chocolate these little chocolate bits. My kids enjoyed that part. For dinner my little guy had Mac n cheese and our daughter had the Prime Rib on the kids menu. I couldn't decide between the Cottage Beef Stoganoff or the Bashful's Butter-poached Fish. I decided on the Cottage Beef Stroganoff and my husband got the Prime Rib. I wasn't a huge fan of the Stroganoff and our waitress brought me my other choice. The Fish was delicious! It was a salmon and it was fantastic! I would get it again for sure. I wasnt crazy about what the came with and next time I'd ask for it to come with something else if they are able to substitute it of course. It came with a mix of Farro, Fava Beans and Peas. My husband said the Prime Rib was fine but should of ordered the Magic Mirror's Slow-braised Pork Shank. For dessert you get a few mini desserts like the appetizers. You get the Miners Treasure (my favorite out of all the desserts), the Poison Apple, the Fairy tale Gooseberry Tart (it was sour) and The Hunter's Gift to the Queen. The characters are still at a distance due to the pandemic, but it's still nice. You'll get to see Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey and The Evil Queen. They all play their part really well, especially The Evil Queen. Overall we had a great time.

Yelp
With the price tag you might be second guessing this place, I'm here to tell you it is worth every single penny!! The food is superb, entertainment excellent especially for the little ones, & the atmosphere is spot on with all the whimsical vibes! To start off you have the appetizers, mushroom bisque soup that is delightful & subtle with a creamy texture, followed by a shrimp seaweed salad, and lastly chicken ball on a flaky crust full of flavor! ( all you can eat, so order again and again!) For entrees we went the rib-eye route and it was amazing! The horseradish mash potatoes were the perfect side for this dish!! (All you can eat so order a second if you can fit it!) Desserts were made up of a tasty boysenberry pie that was a sour dessert lovers dream! A chocolate moose Apple bite that was good nothing crazy but the theming was on point! The shoe store was the glittery mouse gate with chocolate rocks served last, it was a hell textured chocolate flavored dessert with actual edible glitter inside! The last bit was a delicious piece of chocolate! Truly a wonderful dining experience with amazing food! Can't recommend it enough

Mar P.

Yelp
If you care about the food and service, this is not the place for you. Don't expect amazing food and you will be happy. We paid $65 PLUS tax PLUS gratuity for our dinners. Specialty drinks were extra. My prime rib and carrots were under-booked. The appetizers were just okay. We did love the desserts. Throughout our meal, we saw Snow White once (for about 2 minutes), and Grumpy and Dopey several times. We had the chance to get photos taken with the evil Queen (she was actually pretty funny). The characters are definitely the best part about this restaurant, but I'm not sure the cost is worth it. We were also seated 30 minutes past our reservation time.

Jessica W.

Yelp
Service was wonderful, and this experience was so neat! Kids and adults enjoyed it! The characters were wonderful. The apple dessert at the end was a great touch. The food was pretty good too - my daughter actually ate the soup!

Decent food. Very loud atmosphere. Difficult to hear people at our table and the characters when it was our time to interact. Had the prime rib. Seasoned well but may be salty for those who don't like salt.

Yelp
This was by far the best character meal experience we ever did. We do 3 or so each year on our November Disney world trip. It was so nice to have everything delivered to our table so we didn't have to leave for a buffet and take turns with our young kids. It felt like a 8 course meal with all the different items that were brought out. And everything was themed perfectly (decor, characters food) We will be back again!

Yelp
Artist Point has the best soup on Disney property! I've said it before and I'll keep on', keepin' on with my mantra. The $12 Portobello soup is a must get while at Artist Point. It's creamy and delicious with just the right amount of mushroom kick to it. If you go here, you must get it. Trust me. You'll thank me. Now I love going to Artist Point for many reasons, not just the portobello soup though admittedly that is the main draw. Artist Point is situated off the back lobby of the Wilderness Lodge. The Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorite Disney hotels to stay at or visit with its rustic feel. And at the holidays with all the decorations!? Forget about it! Usually the service is something to rave about, as well, but on my latest visit, our server was a drag. She seemed annoyed we weren't ordering more and just generally seemed a bit crabby. It wasn't ideal when I was dining at one of my favorite places at Disney World. However, the hosting staff was very friendly. Putting her lovely attitude aside, our food was delicious and my friends and I had a good meal but it didn't blow our minds. As mentioned, the soup. Yes. Do it. I then got the Pasta Appetizer as my main dish for $16. For my tiny tummy, this was the perfect meal size for me filling me up without any leftovers. The pasta is changed up seasonally but when I went it was a Farm Egg Pappardelle with Wild Boar Bolognese, Alba Mushrooms, Aged Cow's Milk Cheese, and Greens. I was in love with every ingredient and it all went together quite well. I'll continue going to Artist Point on each trip to Disney because the food is delicious but hope they can get service back to what it once was!

Yelp
Excellent food service environment made us feel very welcomed and truly made for a Disney magical experience this did not disappoint, glad we took advantage of the opportunity. Will be returning to this establishment.

Yelp
At artists point, which is one of Walt Disney World's higher end spots, started with a cheese board which was ok and then had the cowboy steak (bone in ribeye) roasted potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. The food was definitely solid, I'd order the steak one level of doneness more than you'd normally order. I'm a med/med rare person and ordered as such and the steak came out seriously rare. Flavors were good.

Yelp
I'm not one for character meals b/c I don't like rushing to eat to meet a character, have food in my teeth in the pictures, or miss the characters if I get up for any reason. Not to mention the food is mass produced and usually not that great. However, I heard from many people that the new Snow White dinner was something to check out so I did. The food was horrible, the service was bad, the cocktails were all sugar but the characters were good. Everyone gets 1 of each appetizer. All of them were pretty nasty, to the point where I didn't want to eat them. I choose the fish for my entree since there wasn't anything really healthy on the menu. The fish was decent but the other flavors were very sour. It was really odd. The desserts were probably some of the worst desserts I've ever had. I tasted each one and that was it. I didn't want to bother with them, they tasted like cafeteria treats. Cocktails - not that much alcohol, all sugar, and not cheap. Just avoid these "novelty" drinks and get something worth the money. The characters were good. You get to meet Snow White, Grumpy, and Dopey - they all walk around to your table. After your meal you do get to meet the Queen but it was a really odd meet and greet. You meet her in middle of the restaurant where everyone can see you and is watching. And our photopass person was awful, I didn't get one good picture with the Queen. I could see how children and families would want to go here but for me with no kids, it was awful. I'm more about the food and ambiance then the characters. Especially when the meal is $70 bucks. I wouldn't come back here. Tips - - Sit in the middle of the room away from the pillars - Do early dining to avoid crowds - Get drinks at the lounge ahead of time - If you like an app or dessert you can ask for more or swap them out. I did 3 shrimp cocktails b/c I didnt like the other apps that I got. It was no problem. - They take AP discounts only

Yelp
First time eating here after coming to Disney for 18 years and so sad to hear it's closing in a few months. My boyfriend has a peanut allergy and the servers were so kind to make sure he had an allergy friendly menu. We ordered the cheese play to start which was amazing! Ordered the buffalo and risotto dish and the pappardelle (but without duck to make it a vegetarian dish). I really did not enjoy the pasta because the sauce was a very heavy cream which I wasn't expecting. It was like an adult version of Mac and cheese. However, my boyfriend loved it so we swapped pasta for risotto and had a great meal! Look for the hidden mickey in the trees on the wall mural.

Yelp
This was hands down one of our favorite character meals. There is grumpy, dopey, Snow White and the evil queen. There is only a professional photographer for the evil queen. The evil queen has a backdrop so feel free to take pictures with her backdrop while she is on break. The best part of the dinner is the dessert that the waiter says is from the queen. There are interesting drinks on the menu, one of them even smokes. The food is very filling, and the venue is beautifully themed. Would definelty recommend. The only downside we had was that we did have to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time before we were seated.

Yelp
It hurts my soul to write this review. We go to Disney every 2-3 years and Artist Point has been a favorite for our family for years. In fact, we sometimes eat here twice a trip, which is saying something, given the cost. I wish I had stuck with my California Grill reservations, but there are no do overs. We arrived ahead of our reservation time and were quickly seated. That's pretty much where the good service ended. Our server was clearly overwhelmed and we were not her priority. Our server stopped by after 5 minutes or so of us sitting there reading and re-reading the menu to say she'd be back. I used to wait tables so I get being in the weeds. A good server would send someone else to take drink orders. Nope. We sat another 5 or so minutes before she came by again and welcomed us. She made a little more small talk and was ready to walk away but I stopped her and asked if we could go ahead and order drinks. "Oh, yeah." She said. My daughters and I got San pelligrino and I ordered a Martini. My husband ordered a Manhattan. We indicated that we would be ordering wine, so she cleared two of the four wine glasses. She disappeared for a while again and we used the time to select appetizers. I settled on the heirloom tomato salad, which was fabulous. My husband and one daughter ordered the mushroom soup, which is the best dish this restaurant offers. My other daughter is a vegetarian so you will notice a theme for her meals. She ordered the heirloom tomato salad too. For entrees my vegetarian daughter ordered the eggplant panisse, which had both high and low moments. The eggplant was greasy and bland, but the carrots and beans were really good. She ate a few bites, leaving pretty much all of the eggplant. My husband ordered the cedar plank salmon. No complaints here...it is always good. I ordered the buffalo strip loin and my daughter got the tenderloin. Both were fine but under seasoned. Salt and pepper are a good thing. I forgot to mention that my husband and I ordered wine right before the entrees came out. We picked Kiona Limberg, which was one of the most reasonable wines on the list. It was good. Not one that I'd go out of the way to buy, but drinkable. For dessert we were ready to go so just got the donuts to go. We figured that would be a good reheat item. We did try one order before we left and the donut was great. The ganache was overkill and, while I love dark chocolate, found that it ruined the dish. I have very mixed feelings about Artist Point. I think they have good food intentions but miss the mark by a cooking method here and an ingredient there. Years ago this was on our must do list, but I think it'll go into the standby column. I can get the mushroom soup at the bar next door and get a taste of the best dish at artist point without spending a fortune. I think that's what I'll do next time.

Yelp
I have always heard rave reviews about this venue - "great for adults" "romantic" "excellent food"... so when I heard the restaurant was changing to a character themed venue I HAD to get in before it switched over. I had such high hopes for this place and really talked it up to my husband. It's located inside the Fort Wilderness Lodge at Disney. We have tables in wonderland (paid membership) so we are able to valet for free, which was nice as it was raining. The lodge itself was gorgeous but the restaurant did not look or feel upscale(as reflected in the prices). We were seated on time at a table in the middle of the room. We had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to approach us as our server. She got our drink order and then ran through the specials, I ordered Salmon, my husband ordered steak. The mushroom bisque was my favorite thing we had! It was underwhelming at best. It was cooked correctly but just not very flavorful. The service was lacking but I'm wondering if they were cutting back to prepare for the new themed restaurant in its place? Either way, I'm not sad to see it go. I will definitely try out the new character dining as Snow White is my fav.

Yelp
Artist Point is a Character Dining experience at Disney World's Wilderness Lodge Resort. It is a 1 dining credit restaurant, (used to be 2), and is themed around Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Up front this is my favorite Character Dining meal in all of Disney World. For the main reason that the food is unbelievably delicious and you get to meet 3 rare Disney Characters. Let me break down on what I thought was the best and worse about this dining experience. Characters: First off this is a Character meet and greet. I know there are some people that don't like them, so if meeting characters while your mouth is full is not fun for you, then I wouldn't come here. As for my wife and I we love meeting all the Characters we can. You get to meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen. You can meet Snow at like 4 different Character Dining meals so meeting her isn't special. On the other hand meeting the Dwarves and the Queen is outstanding. The Dwarves can't talk so it is a little awkward, like Crystal Palace, but getting your picture with a rare Character really makes up for it. You also don't get to meet the Queen until you leave but it builds up a lot of suspense and makes it feel more like a honor to meet her. The huge plus side to this is that the restaurant is pretty small so you get a lot of time with everyone. More than at Cinderellas Royal Table. Snow talked to us for like 5 mins, Grumpy played with us for a while, and we got to chat with the Queen! This is definitely one of the reasons why you want to come here. Restaurant: This place is gorgeously themed. It is connected to one of the nicer resorts and was a 2 credit dining experience, so you know it has to be pretty. Once you enter Artist Point you are welcomed by painted murals of the Characters and scenes from the movie. Then as you make your way in it turns into a high class rustic restaurant. The pillars and walls turn into the forbidden forest the higher it goes until the ceiling is cover is tree branches and leaves. Inside those branches are lights that react to the Characters on when they enter. Snow White has a very pretty light that dances around when she runs through the room and the Evil Queen turns the forest red as if the whole restaurant is scared of her. It really has the Disney Magic and is one the better restaurants there is. We had a great seat, great view, wasn't too close to anyone, and was just in awe of everything. Staff: I will make this one quick because we have only been here once but our complete staff was outstanding. The hosts were super friendly and talkative, our waiter new the menu back and forth, gave us great recommendations, took pictures of us, and was just very charming. They all were amazing at their job. Food: This is a 1 Credit Dining experience that used to be a 2 but still feels like it. It is also a 3 course meal like Cinderellas Royal Table and Be our Guest dinner. This restaurant offers a lot of beef and seafood options but there are 3 courses. First off there is shrimp, mushroom soup, and a charcuterie plate. My favorite was the shrimp and my wife's was the mushroom soup. Second or main course is next and my wife got the salmon. She said it was incredible and I really liked the bite I had. My main was Pork and mussels, and it was absolutely amazing! This is honestly one of the best meals I have ever had at Disney World. I suggest this if you have the chance to go. Next was dessert and you get like 3 different samples of dessert and they were good but nothing was that amazing. After that they bring you the Queens heart present in a gold case with smoke coming out of it. This was one of the coolest things about the entire meal. I can't wait to go again and try something new here! Overall this is one of the best experiences my wife and I have had at Disney World. I can't really think of any cons that we had because our experience was that good! Also we did a celebration here with flowers/gifts and they handled it amazingly. Everything was flawless. This is my most highly recommended Character Dining experience at Disney World. It is a little difficult to get to but it is worth the ride and you time.

Yelp
To one of the most amazing prime ribs I think I have ever had. I could have eaten 2 of them, and I literally cleaned my plate. It had some type of glaze or seasoning on the prime rib which was so amazing- I asked what it was, but they wouldn't tell me- saying that is why I have to come back, and it was their secret. I wish I got a pic, but as soon as I took a bite, I couldn't stop. Hands down amazing customer service, amazing drool worthy food, and beautiful ambiance. Highly recommend-We had a really good time, even as adults.

Yelp
Well. This sadly was a complete fail in my opinion. Our cast member who served us was Rae. She had a very bad attitude 9/14/2017 for dinner. I ordered a completely dry steak. No butter oils or sauces. Comes slathered in beef fat. When I said I asked for a dry steak she said it's beef fat and that's the way it comes. I told her I wanted it dry. And she replied with "why don't you just try it and then decide" Well- no. I would not like to try anything I am paying for and don't want to eat that way. When I said "no I don't want to try it" you know what the response was? "Well now you'll have to wait 45 minutes for a meal!" Miraculously after I agreed to the 45 min wait time the steak came out in 8 minutes. Dry. No oils sauces or butters. I give it 3 stars because they fixed it. But truly from guest satisfaction I would say 1 star. Not happy. Especially for a signature dining experience. Nope. Not a good choice. Sad.

Yelp
Story Book Dining at Artist Point is one of my favorite dining experiences in Disney World. It may be one of my favorite dining experiences I have ever had period. First of all the Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous and I enjoyed exploring it while we waited for our table. The restaurant itself is beautiful, it is full of Disney artwork and looks like an enchanted forest inside. It's a very relaxing and charming atmosphere. The theming is fantastic, the menu looks like a storybook and it's fun for people of all ages when the dwarves and Snow White come around to say hello and take photos. The food is delicious, I loved having a bunch of tiny appetizers and desserts with an entree in the middle. The mushroom bisque, gnocchi, and gooseberry pie dessert were my favorites. I wish I had that gnocchi right now. The meal is paced so well and the portions are perfect so that you aren't too full by dessert which I was worried about. The final dessert is a fun treat! After the meal you can meet the Evil Queen (if you'd like, you don't have to interact with any of the characters if that isn't your thing) and she is just a LITTLE terrifying. All of the employees are very kind and helpful as well. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back! If you have the chance to go make sure you take it!

Yelp
3.5 stars, but rounding up to 4 if you are careful to NOT order any of the kids' menu items for your kiddos (as well as any adult menu dishes that also appear on the kids' menu). But overall, it was probably the best meals we had during our 8-day trip to Disney World. The adult entrees were very good (we got the salmon and pork shank) and the salmon was clearly sous vide so it was cooked perfectly and the shank was nicely slow-braised. We felt like the appetizers were the weakest part of the meal. The chicken terrine fell really flat (but the stone fruit preserve went wonderfully with the popover later), the shrimp cocktail was just ok because the shrimp was a bit overcooked but the sauce was good (has a bit of a kick with the Thai chili). The tempura mushroom and bisque were delicious in flavor but the mushroom bisque was too salty (I was happy to see more of the mushroom accompanying the salmon dish however). I was interested in the popover that was supposed to come with the prime rib (be cautious about ordering the prime rib however--if it's anything like the kid's one, it's too tough) so I ordered that on the side with my salmon instead of opting for the prime rib. The desserts were quite good and creative. Presentation was wonderful and it finished the meal nicely. The cake was moist and the chocolate bits complemented it nicely, the dark chocolate apple was scrumptious (my favorite), and the pie was well done (especially if you like a bit of tartness in your sweets). We also all got different cocktail drinks (one alcoholic, one that was tea-based, and another with cotton candy) and we liked them all. Pick one that appeals to you and it probably will be quite delicious. The food for the kids was probably a 1 star unfortunately, which made me lower my rating to a 3.5 instead of 4. The chicken was way too dry. The prime rib was tough. I had to cut it into the thinnest pieces for my kid to be able to eat it. They enjoyed their kid menu appetizers and sides though and we shared some of our dishes with them and they loved that more. If you're not on the dining plan, I would definitely recommend getting the salmon or pork for the kids and having them share it instead of ordering the kids meals. For those who are there for the characters (we were not), the Queen was actually quite above-and-beyond excellent with her character. The other characters were also good but the Queen really stood out and we were pleasantly surprised by that. Try to go to Magic Kingdom the day before and ride Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, if your kids are into coasters, and it might help your kids get more into characters by the time you head over here for your dinner reservation the next day. I would come here again in a heartbeat, especially on the dining plan as it's one of the highest value for 1 table dining credit.

Yelp
First off ... This restaurant isn't for the financial faint of heart. Everything at Disney is overpriced and often not worth it ... But although this restaurant is at or above Manhattan steakhouse prices, it's completely worth it! I've been eating here since the late 1990s. It wowed back then and continues to wow to this day! The menu hasn't changed much nor has the atmosphere. My meal consisted of the $40 hanger steak (very rare to find on any menu!), $16 mussels appetizer, and a side of crispy brussell sprouts. I wish I had room for the berry cobbler which is always a show stopper! I was a bit concerned that the hanger steak would not be good compared to the filet mignon or bison steak as those were $10-$12 more and the waiter kind of raised an eyebrow when I got the hanger steak. For those in the know the hanger steak is also called the 'butcher's steak' because it's so good the butcher usually keeps it for himself. It was the best steak I ever had!!! There was a thin, salty crispy crust and the steak was perfect medium rare. The size was good ... About the size of a large 'steak tip'. It came with a grilled green onion which I'm not sure I understood. The steak came with a side dish. At first I ordered the Mac and cheese. It tasted bland and the cheese was a bit clumpy. It also had an overwhelming taste of truffle oil. I returned it and instead got the crispy brussell sprouts which were an absolute pleasure and 100% we're what I'd choose again. My mussels appetiser was the only miss of the night. The mussels were small and not meaty at all. There were 8-10 smaller mussels which was a bit dissapointing for the $16 price. They came in a cheap looking ceramic bowl (they used to be served in a silver container with a lid that was removed at the table to allow the aroma open up.) They were in a fairly acidic tomato soup stock and there were weird crumpled up toasted pieces of bread and lots of capers. The presentation of the dish down to the taste was a mistake. They changed their bread which used to be a wonderful sourdough ... now it's a boring multi-grain. The salted butter is good though. This restaurant I'd put up against any fine dining establishment. You'd never know it was a Disney restaurant. Great Pacific Northwest atmosphere. Great attentive and knowledgeable waiter service. The host is a bit pretentious but I suppose that's part of the schtick. To make a reservation you have to put a non-refundable $10 deposit down. I think you'd have no trouble walking in without a reservation. It seemed like mostly locals and not resort guests. Hands down this is my favorite restaurant on Disney property.

Yelp
This was my first time ever eating here and we all agreed that as we feel the menu and the theme of the restaurant do not go together. Overall I can't say that I was disappointed with this restaurant as the food was good however there was nothing special to make me give it more than three stars, it was lacking something. Ambiance: it's a dimmer lit restaurant with somewhat of a Canadian, wilderness, Native American theme (again some things didn't go together). Food: we started off with the cheese board and the meat board. We all agreed that we wish they had a charcuterie board with some of each of the items instead of separate. Of the two I preferred the cheese board. The meat board to me seemed very repetitive in their selections. For dinner the three entrees we had were the filet, the buffalo and the fish. All were good however none were wow factors for me. I had the steak which was very well seasoned you didn't need a sauce with it. I choose the Mac n cheese as my side. I expected this to be amazing and it wasn't it was missing something in the cheeses in it. My mom had the buffalo which was good but the sauce paired with it we all agreed was awful it didn't do anything for the meat and was overpowered by lemon taste. She said it would have been better if there was a sauce that complimented it. She chose the Brussels sprouts as her side which were good. Lastly our friend got the fish which was cooked and served in parchment paper. He really enjoyed this however my mom and I didn't care for it. It was with tomatoes, olives, peppers and a whole lot of other things that we both felt did not go with the fish at all. Overall I was hoping to like this restaurant but I wasn't impressed. My favorite thing was my wine flight I had with three different Pinot noirs

Yelp
We had the best time at the Snow White character diner the food was serviceable and the waiter kind of rude but the experience overall was amazing

Yelp
Let's start with dessert. Why? Because Artist Point served me the most visually stunning dessert I've ever had! It wasn't quite the oozy gooey that I sorta like, but man it was just an assortment of textures, temperatures, and tastes. I believe it was called the Chocolate Crémeux. We started our night with the cheese plate a lovely assortment and an explanation sheet along with it. A bunch of folks then opted for the steak. But, honestly, you can get a steak anywhere, delicious, perfectly prepared buffalo though? Yea, Artist Point shines here. It was positively succulent. Like all Disney locations they also were willing to make my mom a birthday cake! It was super adorable. Bonus facts, the paintings were all done by Disney Artists, hidden Mickey's are there!

Yelp
We are Disney DVC owners and love staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We love the pool, we rent pontoon boats and love to go to Artist Point. "And" we were able to go without our teenagers and have some adult time on vacation. Yay! Its nice here when its a intimate dinner. Don't get me wrong, this is Disney world. People get hung up on this restaurant. They expect it to be adults only and make faces when a young couple would come here with their infant. I'm the one who secretly protects these folks. If you wanted a quite nite out, then leave Disney! Problem solved. My wife and I ordered a cheese plate to start which was pretty good with the wine we ordered from Oregon. My wife ordered the Cedar Plank-roasted Wild King Salmon. Wowza! (I always order the wrong thing) The Niçoise with the Quail Egg was pretty good. I ordered the Pan-seared Alaskan Black Cod, The website says it came with Sweet Corn and Chèvre Porridge. I don't what Porridge is but it was pretty bangin'. So the chef comes to our table and asked how was our meal. My wife was raving about the cedar Salmon. The chef comes back and gives her a FREE CEDAR PLANK! Great restaurant with great hospitality. If you want an upscale meal in Disneyworld and have kids in tow. Relax and still come here.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. Went here for our anniversary dinner while staying at the wilderness lodge and it was pretty decent. Of course since it is a Disney restaurant, most things will be on the expensive end. The service was impeccable and loved the whole dining experience. I chose to get the farm to coast which includes tamarind pork belly and ahi tuna with mixed stir fried vegetables over mash potatoes - interesting mix! The ahi tuna, mash potatoes and vegetables were delicious. The entree was a good size for the price. My only complaint was the pork belly, the tamarind seasoning they used overpowered the crispy fatty goodness of the pork belly. My boyfriend got the filet mignon and loved it. Overall I would stop by again if there was a special event and it's a nice experience to put in your book - however, I definitely feel we could have gotten a way better meal outside of Disney for that price (I.e. Capital grille, del Friscos, etc).

Yelp
BEST DINING EXPERIENCE! Our server, Tim, was incredible. He was quintessential Disney. Tim gave us amazing suggestions for drinks and entrees. The gnocchi and Evil to the Core cocktail were our favorite food items of our entire trip. Wear your stretchy pants because everything is exceedingly delicious. We ate up every bite! If you're a picky eater, this may not be the place for you. Our kids (12 & 13) are adventurous eaters and also enjoyed everything that was brought to the table. We also had fun interactions with the characters during this meal. Way better than our other character meal interactions. The added singing and dancing were the icing on the cake.

Josephine S.

Yelp
Great experience! We come every couple years to Disney and this was our first time at this character experience. We've been to practically every character experience at Disney World and this one is phenomenal. Food was amazing, service even better, and the characters even perform a little dance while your eating. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
